First of all, the way we were warmly greeted and engaged with when we walked in for a pickup order - A PICKUP ORDER! - made us instantly love this place. The pizza we ordered was top tier NY style, thin crust, crisp yet chewy, nice even cook on the undercarriage. Sauce and toppings were on point, not too heavy and not too light. Best tasting NY style pizza in the LC area for sure! The inside dining area looked small, but they had a some clean picnic tables out on the patio just in time for the cooler weather. Absolutely will be back to try the Sicilian!

Brooklyn Pizza. So I finally tried Brooklyn Pizza. It was absolutely fantastic. If you're a fan of New York style pizza this is the place to go in Texas. I grew up in New Jersey and New York City and I've been down here for 20 years, but I have yet to find Pizza that was as good as New York city. Well, that has changed. The pizza is fantastic. The quality of the ingredients are superb. Perfectly baked and the flavor was the best I've had in 20 years. Everybody has different tastes in pizza. But if you're from up north and missing a good New York style pizza. It is worth the drive to try this place. I also ordered a Calzone and OMG, it was absolutely supurb. No one in the area makes a calzone like that. I chatted with the owner, and he's a really nice guy and dedicated to his craft. You have got to go and taste what a genuine New York style Pizza truly is. I'll be heading back there often, and I am definitely going to try his lasagna. I'll report back on that.

This place never disappoints, I've been here since they opened and safe to say i'm still addicted. I always order my usual white pizza with spinach, chicken, and ricotta with 10 mild bone in chicken wings. The owners are very friendly and hardworking and they're from Brooklyn, New York. They also have a nice patio outside to enjoy your food with nice music and if your a smoker (like me) it's nice to have the option to sit outside. If you really want authentic NY style pizza this is the place to go, no where else compares!!!

No pizza sauce and yet they said they argued with me over the phone when I called in to complain that they didn't put any pizza sauce

They don't put any sauce on their pizza and they don't deliver since they are way too lazy just to lift a ladle of pizza sauce onto a pizza how pathetic I will never ever order from here ever again and I don't recommend any one else too either otherwise you will see no pizza sauce on your pizza too

Moved to Texas from NY area and was so disappointed that there were no good mom & pop pizza shops (and I do not like franchise pizzas). I decided to give this place a try since it is near my house and I always drive pass it. It was amazing! The best pizza I ever had in TX and even better than some places up northeast. This is a solid New York-style pie, folks. The best in the Bay Area, hands down, in my opinion. Awesome thin crust, great milky mozzarella, light sauce, just a bit of grease. High quality toppings. Doesn't sound complicated, but most places screw it up. (These guys DON'T.) Had a x-large Brooklyn Special - pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers - that fed three people with three slices to spare: $20. Great pizza, great value. First visit, will be back soon. read more

Great pizza and friendly staff. My only complaint....when I used to order a pizza with hamburger as a topping I used to get big chunks of meat on it which was fantastic. Now it's this flat pepperoni looking thing. Bring back what you used to have and I will give it 5 stars. read more

This place is just AWESOME! I read some of the other reviews and had to try it, especially since the only other option is dominos and they cannot even take an order without putting you on hold! I mean seriously when you go in to pick up and order and you watch their workers put people on hold and start gossiping. Brooklyn has great customer service and even better pies! The cheese used on their pies is thick and you know its on there! Great prices and a large here is as big as others extra larges! Great job guys! read more

I've been coming to this pizzeria since 2007. It tastes just like New York City's best Italian pizza places. Fresh ingredients, great pizza sauce, and amazing dough. The rumor is that to make the perfect dough, it is all about the water you use. And I have a feeling that they are importing their water, to make the dough, from NYC. Owners and staff are always nice. In fact, I always received excellent customer service and I've been coming here for years. read more

The pizza was phenomenal! I have been searching for a really good pizza for quite a while now and I have definitely found it! Plus they are fresh and hand made which makes them so much better! And they have great chicken wings too! Also service is great and the place is family owned which makes it all the better! Also the environment gives it that classic, authentic, family owned, pizzeria type of feeling! Great place recommend it to everybody! It's so good I've been there 3 times in the last 4 days! The owners were really nice. As close as ive found to nyc pizza pies. The meat pizza was out of this world. My wife and daughter had the veggie pizza which was totally awesome. The service was very slow though and the pies were super depur expensive. Hopefully they lowered the prices by now. Had wings too. Ok. To me Pizza is all about the crust. Get that wrong and the rest don't matter. This place has top shelf crust. The lasagna and wings will also not disappoint. They could improve their side salad and use fresh mushrooms and bell peppers. Highly recommended! read more

CALLING ALL NEW YORKERS! I have frequently visited establishments that advertise "New York Style" pizza, since I left the state. The result? I was always disappointed. So, of course, I had to try Brooklyn Pizza and I automatically smiled when I just saw the pizza...it looked and tasted like I was sitting at our local pizza joint. My wife has coworkers from New York who raved about this place having the real thing: fantastic New York style pizza. We decided to check it out. I've never lived in NYC or had this type of pizza before, but it's delicious! Great mix of flavors with the fold over crust. The cheese is fantastic and really makes the pizza. The owner is a real nice guy and the restaurant has that unassuming mom and pop operation to it. Located in a small wood frame building, so you have to be watching for it on the south side of the road. The interior is clean, helpful service, but it's about the food. It's only about a quarter mile into Bacliff on FM 646 off Hwy 146, so it's real convenient for people in Dickinson and east League City vs. fighting traffic on I 45 to go somewhere for dinner. read more

10/6/12 - on the recommendation of a few folks we know and some favorable reviews I decided to take my wife out to Brooklyn Pizza and try. First..parking lot still under construction and no liquor license for a beer..oh well. We weren't greeted, offered a table or a menu. Finally grabbed a menu off the counter ourselves and sat down at table #6. The selection was nice but we were there for a pizza and a calzone. Since no one came to our table I went to the counter and ordered our pizza and paid..even tipped...kinda of regret that. 35 minutes later, with a parade of folks coming in and getting food, a woman who works there comes to our table and asks if we ordered something. I told her we ordered 35 minutes ago, we paid 35 minutes ago and repeated my order to her. Five minutes later she comes to our table with two to-go boxes. Problem..we ordered to eat there. We decided at that point we were just going to leave and let her know that we were not happy. We told her that someone could have told us when we ordered that it would take 40 minutes..her response.."Did you ask?" Really? Pizza was fine, as was the calzone, but not good enough to endure that kind of service and rudeness. WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. read more

The food was horrible!!! The pizza sause was lat and very tasteless the meaty calzone had mostly cheese and very little of anything else. The TV was BLASTING! I do mean blasting. We had the classic maki California roll, wonton soup, miso soup, and their sushi tacos, one cooked and two raw. All were fresh and flavorful. But the real standout was the pork xiao bao. Hands down best-in-class. Perfect texture, great flavor, and something we'd come back for on its own. Customer service was amazing -- extremely friendly, welcoming, and on top of everything. The place is very clean, the vibe is great, and you can tell they care about what they serve. Highly recommend. We'll definitely be back.

Want to say Si for the NY style calzone! Absolutely the best in the Houston area and that is a wide spot in the road here in Texas!. Extra Clean digs with decent tables and chairs like the ones in traditional real pizzerias. Huge state of the art pizza oven! Great posters and pictures of the Trade Centers pre-911, interesting subway signs of Manhattan. Seriously - this place is awesome we had a calzone all the way with marinara sauce (enough for 2) and my partner had the Lasagna and he said it was off the Chain, and he is from Florida near Daytona. First time eating here but not the last. I think they are family owned and operated. My grandpa was Italian and everyone behind the counter looked Italian. To me thats a plus. Very clean restaurant. I walked in to place my order after asking Siri nearby pizza places and Brooklyn Pizza was rated highest. The girl who took my order at the counter was friendly. I ordered a large supreme thin crust w/ jalapeños. I usually order the same from pizza hut when i need a pizza fix but this place is better. They have a full menu too. read more

Best pizza I've found south of Houston. My family used to go here a lot when we lived in the area. What makes their pizza great? The cheese they use, the high quality toppings, and their crust. Their crust is thin, but it's not soggy, nor is it too crunchy. The pizza holds its shape and has a nice texture, while not getting in the way of the cheese and topics. We live about 20 minutes away but have plans to come back. read more

AWWsome! Just had their Brooklyn's House 14" reg. It has been years sense I've had pizza this good. Crust was perfect with a nice crunch, cheese was amazing, toppings were fresh and delicious. To top it off, the half pitcher of beer was served at the perfect temp., the service was top notch, and the price was affordable considering this pie could have easily fed 3 people. Brooklyn Pizza in Bacliff is the best pizza in the area. We go to Grimaldi's sometimes and Brooklyn is better. My wife and I got an x-large cheese pizza today and it was fantastic. Great crust and top quality cheese. We go to Pizza Rock in downtown Vegas and like this pie better. The owner is a pro. read more

Awesome pizza and good wings. Service is always friendly and courteous whether on the phone or in person. Always a smile and ask if you need red crushed peppers and cheese, not like others where you forget to ask and are "in trouble" when you get home. LOL Eat there every other week. Yum! read more

Best pizza I've ever had, and the customer service was just as good if not better! We ordered a large (cheap), and it was huge. First time here and will be here as much as possible in the future!! I think we found our new favorite pizza spot! BYOB too... Can't beat it!! read more
