He always responded to my texts and questions with a smile on his face and was always encouraging and supportive. Matt is awesome and he is definitely a 10/10 for Tripointe Homes. I spoke to Deborah on October 30, 2025 regarding Plan 1 and Plan 2 and on Nov. 2nd we set an appointment for me to view the models and bring my deposit. I could not come earlier because I had to drive from Los Angeles. At the appointment, Deborah told me the unit had received an offer the evening of Nov. 5th and it had been accepted. She failed to notify me and her excuse was that the offer had come in very late. However, once my sister asked her about the chances the sale would fall out, Deborah said the 3 day recession period was ending that day, Nov. 6th at 5 pm. My sister then said the offer must have come in on Sunday, Nov. 2nd! Deborah had clearly lied! She should have notified me so I wouldn't have driven 14 hours (to and from), spent $100 in gas, and wasted my and my sister's time! I also discovered she had lied about pricing. Please note I would have purchased the unit at the price the buyer offered. I suspect Deborah thought she could sell me something else even though she clearly knew my budget. She's just "out to make a buck". I would never recommend her to anyone.

I've visited a lot…read moreof model homes in my life (because my parents just seem to think this is a fun thing to do on the weekend) and the sales office here didn't have the feel of a real estate office at all. Have you ever been to an upscale apartment complex when they have about 10 vacant units? These people were employing the same sort of tactics. I guess it's difficult to sell something for way more than it's worth. When we asked to see one of the smaller models, the agent actually looked at my husband and said, "What? Is it just price?" No...it's not just price, it's price/value. Also, I don't think you need to try to make me feel bad about asking to see something that cost $600K. Could it be that we don't understand why anybody would want 4.5 bathrooms in a 3 bedroom house and didn't think that $900k was a dream bargain for that? I have to give them an extra star for green certification...and a few of the models did have kitchens that were pretty breathtaking. I think if I did own one of those town homes I would just sit in the kitchen all of the time and never leave. Judging from their website, that seems to be something they're quite fond of. They're also quite fond of wood chips...which I hate. Please just let me do what I want with my 2x2 patch of dirt. Also, in a period of economic downswing with a crappy housing market...you're going to have to work harder for my money than that.

Prime Design & Build - Amazing bathroom

I hired Prime to renovate my kitchen - countertops, backsplash, cabinets, electrical, freezer, etc…read more They also helped install a new bidet toilet for me. Overall the experience was very good; Elijah and Bryan were super friendly and responsive. Eli was very patient and accommodating as we discussed several different potential change orders, from new windows to painting, to other misc. things that popped up. Bryan Luna was especially a pleasure to work with. His attention to detail and proactivity to solve any little thing I mentioned was definitely the highlight of working with Prime. Their contracted electrician, Hector, was great as well. I also think they did a great job building out a cabinet to fit our freezer next to the matching fridge. Their master carpenter managed to salvage our existing wood to make it match perfectly. Definitely better than what I'd expect from even a carpentry specialty contractor. I will mention that it wasn't without some snags. Prime deals in volume so they're very busy. I think because I had delays in sourcing a freezer I ended up not getting a dedicated project manager for some time. We had timeline issues made worse with holidays. This caused cascading delays which inevitably pushed back my move in date a few weeks. When I finally did get a new project manager, they ghosted me (later on I found out they had a family emergency). Eli had to step in again to help. Another thing is that their pricing is quite opaque. The estimate will break down prices by milestones, but they repeated told me that it's not a valuation of the milestone itself. This made it nigh impossible to understand if I wanted to contract out specific pieces of the project (e.g. flooring). Design was OK. I felt that the designer was very busy. Sometimes very responsive (5min replies), sometimes not responsive at all (no reply). I wish I had a better, more thorough back-and-forth session about the intricacies of the design. But we made do. Ultimately, the designer made a render and helped point us to some vendors, but from there we had to make our own selection alone (cabinets, handles, pendant lights, faucets, etc.). I did appreciate her presence when we picked out countertops, though. All in all, I think this was a 4.5 star job, but I'm rounding to 5 because of Eli and Bryan :)

Overall, the project went well, and we're happy with the final results. Bryan, our foreman, was a strong asset to the project. Even though he was managing multiple jobs at the same time, his responsiveness and willingness to go out of his way to address our concerns made a big difference. Because we were home throughout the process, we were able to catch issues early and communicate them directly to Bryan, who consistently followed through to resolve them. What Went Well: * The tile and flooring subcontractors were excellent - their craftsmanship and attention to detail truly stood out. * Bryan, our foreman, was responsive to texts and phone calls, listened to our concerns, and made sure they were addressed. He even designed a bi-fold closet door for us, and helped pick up all the material to build it. * Bryan also took the initiative to handle several unfinished items himself, which we really appreciated. * The post-build cleaners were top-notch and left the space in pristine condition. * Throughout the project, everyone we interacted with was professional, courteous, and conscientious. There were no conflicts or issues, which made the experience comfortable for us. Areas for Improvement: * The timeline was a pain point. While we were originally told the project would take 6-8 weeks, it ended up stretching to 12 weeks. * The design process fell short of expectations. Because Prime's in-house designers weren't available, our design work was outsourced. We only received a full design package for the master bathroom. As a result, we ended up creating our own renderings for the other rooms to help communicate our vision to the team. That said, we were very happy with the design and material selections for the master bathroom they did complete. We just wish the same level of attention and design support had been provided for the rest of the project. * At times, resource availability was limited, likely due to workers being assigned to multiple jobs. This led to workflow inefficiencies and delays. Toward the end of our renovation, our foreman Bryan had to personally step in to complete several tasks, such as installing faucets, shelving, and baseboards. He managed to get it done in between site visits and meetings, which we appreciated, but it also highlighted a lack of available crew to close out the project. Despite these few challenges, the quality of the work met our expectations. We appreciated the team's effort and the final outcome.

Then, out of nowhere, we came across Chris, and from the very first conversation, he showed compassion, honesty, and genuine care. He couldn't believe what had happened to us and made it his mission to help us get our home and our peace of mind back. Chris and his crew started immediately and went above and beyond in every possible way. Since we were living in the home during construction, he built us a makeshift kitchen, secured areas without windows, and made sure we were comfortable and safe while the remodel was underway. His workmanship and attention to detail were outstanding -- he not only fulfilled our plans but added thoughtful extras, like a beautiful half bath we hadn't even imagined could fit. He stayed within our budget, communicated clearly, and treated our home as if it were his own. Beyond his skill as a contractor, Chris is an exceptional interior designer. His vision and creativity transformed our space into something truly stunning. His team was professional, respectful, and a pleasure to have around every day. After such a terrible experience before, finding Chris felt like a miracle. We can't recommend him and his company highly enough -- they didn't just rebuild our house, they restored our trust and made it a home again.
