We were in an absolutely desperate situation when we found Chris and his team. Our home renovation had turned into a nightmare -- our previous contractor left our house completely gutted, uninhabitable, and in total disarray. We had lost money, time, and hope. Then, out of nowhere, we came across Chris, and from the very first conversation, he showed compassion, honesty, and genuine care. He couldn't believe what had happened to us and made it his mission to help us get our home and our peace of mind back. Chris and his crew started immediately and went above and beyond in every possible way. Since we were living in the home during construction, he built us a makeshift kitchen, secured areas without windows, and made sure we were comfortable and safe while the remodel was underway. His workmanship and attention to detail were outstanding -- he not only fulfilled our plans but added thoughtful extras, like a beautiful half bath we hadn't even imagined could fit. He stayed within our budget, communicated clearly, and treated our home as if it were his own. Beyond his skill as a contractor, Chris is an exceptional interior designer. His vision and creativity transformed our space into something truly stunning. His team was professional, respectful, and a pleasure to have around every day. After such a terrible experience before, finding Chris felt like a miracle. We can't recommend him and his company highly enough -- they didn't just rebuild our house, they restored our trust and made it a home again. read more

I would give more stars if I could! Chris and his team at Ruggieri Construction did an amazing job on our kids'/guest bathroom remodel. From the very first design conversation to the finishing details, they were professional, responsive, and easy to work with. They helped us make smart layout and design choices that completely transformed our small space into a beautiful, functional bathroom. The quality of their work and attention to detail truly stand out. We couldn't be happier with the results and will absolutely use Ruggieri Construction again for future projects. Thank you, Chris and team! read more

Chris and his dream team transformed our 80's DATED tub/shower combo into a stunning walk-in steam shower. What we thought would be a pretty straightforward conversion did end up having a couple twisty turns, complements of supply issues related to COVID and a tiny room being opened up after decades had passed. What I really appreciate about Chris is his ability to pivot when unexpected things arise and take care them without adding stress to the homeowner. Additionally, Chris and our project lead, Esai, were great about communicating with us. They respected our space and the fact that work and homeschooling were going on in other areas of the house. For example, if they had to turn the water or power off to complete a task, we always knew in advance and were asked if the timing was ok. Tarps were hung and floors were covered each day to protect our belongings. It's the little things like this that really helped make us feel valued as clients. Lots of companies can get a job done, but Chris and team really strived to ensure we were part of the process, when we needed to be, and treated us like they'd want to be treated and our home/property with care. This mantra really help alleviate a lot of the anxiety I had about doing a project like this. Chris also has a real eye for design. He made a few suggestions that we ended up implementing, which made the space even more interesting, like a lighted soap box and eliminating the original step down feature into the room. Things flow so much better now! The end result was a beautiful transformation! We went from an ugly, non-functional shower/tub to a sleek modern spa-like shower space. We are thrilled with the results! Our project finished on budget as well! We highly recommend Chris Ruggieri and Company for any project, big or small. The professionalism and end result blew us away. read more

We were so happy we chose Chris Ruggeri & his Construction Company. The home was purchased as is from the original owner of 45 years and right away Chris & his crew came up with creative design options to turn this place into a beautiful updated remodeled home. It's one thing to just find a contractor these days but to find a contractor with passion and a creative eye to keep things within the budget and timeline is even harder. We were so impressed with the crew, as on some days there were 6 to 8 guys in the house all working on different sections of the house. The crew showed up daily on time, kept the place clean and delivered a masterpiece as promised. The end result was beautiful and we look forward to using Ruggieri & Co for our next projects. read more

Chris' talents go beyond your typical contractor. He has true artistic ability. I trust his design decisions fully and he brings to life something better than I myself could envision. The materials he chooses are so well thought out for both beauty and function. So far, I have used him to remodel 4 bathrooms and redo all the flooring in my home. He also created a beautiful coffee bar that I get compliments on every time someone enters my home. When opening your home to strangers working on a project for months at a time, you need to be sure they are respectful. His crew is very respectful. There was not one time when I felt uncomfortable about them being in my home. I absolutely LOVE the work that has been done and plan on using Ruggieri & Co for many more projects. read more

The man. The myth. The legend. Chris stepped into the picture for us when we had all but given up hope, having previously endured a nightmare scenario with one of many for unfortunate so-called contractors. Chris is not only a very real and dedicated contractor but his eye for detail and design is second to none. Chris went far beyond just giving us hope back, he gave us our piece of mind back that we were in good hands and that we could have our place be just as we envisioned and more. Chris's undertaking at our house included an addition with added bathroom and a covered deck and complete remodel of the existing space from floor to roof which was all executed with attention and care. So, yes, I recommend using Ruggieri for your home project. And yes, there is a contractor who CAN get the job done, and get it done right. read more

Amazing work done by Chris and his company for our bathroom. Chris was so easy to work with from the consultation through completion of the project. He was right on schedule the entire time and was incredibly clean the whole process through. I'd go into detail about how great of a job he did but a picture is worth a thousand words. Where to begin....my wife and I are beyond ecstatic with our complete home remodel by Ruggieri & Co. Chris and his guys took an old outdated disaster with a terrible layout and transformed it into an AMAZING new home. I originally called Chris when I was considering making an offer on a home. My wife and I loved the location and setting but the layout was atrocious. After calling Chris he offered to come out to view the house with me the very next day and told me exactly what he could do to fix it. Chris and his guys did a complete remodel and makeover to this house during the most challenging time in history! The results far exceeded our expectations. Somehow he managed to use the style we love, stay within budget, and never forced us to do something we weren't comfortable with. He went out of his way to go shopping in store for our appliances with us. We have friends and family over often, and people cannot believe what the layout was before because it was blended in so naturally. His artistic vision is what truly made it possible to enjoy our home! Even after the completion of our remodel I still call Ruggieri & Co. for projects because they get the job done quick and are such a pleasure to be around. We loved his work so much we are planning more outdoor projects for our jacuzzi and deck area. These guys can handle anything. This was the first contractor I have ever used on a home project and without a doubt the last. Highly recommend Ruggieri & co! read more

Chris and his team are the absolute best! Not only is their work superior, the rates were reasonable with no hidden costs. Chris started demo on our 1959 ranch in original condition on February 17. We explained to him that we were renting and our lease was up May 1, and we had a budget that we had to follow. Chris came up with an ambitious design to move to the front door and expand our master bathroom, moving The hot water heater and electrical fuse box, completely redo our kitchen and add an island, a pantry, insulate and install lighting in our ceiling in the great room, install a new sliding glass door, redo the fireplace and install a gas insert, add a laundry room, add a half bath, and expand our master closet. Needless to say this is a complete rewire of the house plumbing, and sewer. He installed our kitchen cabinets in the garage, and make a nice workstation. How could he possibly accomplish this and then during the height of the Covid seems impossible, but he did and gave us the house of our dreams. We were able to move in April 27! It's amazing how much of his heart and soul he gave to our project, and the love he showed us. Our neighbors are all floored by the beautiful design of our house and we are very proud. I don't think anyone could have accomplished what he did we were extremely lucky to have him. Thank you Chris. I am currently installing a pool and new driveway. and who do you think is in charge of the project, you got it, it's Chris Rugieri and Ruggieri construction! read more

I use Chris for ALL my remodels. It's hard to know who to trust out there as a single mom and my investment properties are my livelihood. I can always count on Chris to be fair, honest and always goes above and beyond. His taste is impeccable! After meeting with several contractors, we were very underwhelmed with their vision and lack of guidance with our project. Then came Chris! He did a walkthrough of our home, discussed what we had in mind and set up a follow up appointment to go over the details. He sketched the layout and completely blew our minds! Our home was built in the 80's, old brick fireplace, sectioned off rooms, not functional and out dated. From the lighting, opening up walls, removing the old fireplace, adding a completely new built in, with mirrors artistically designed, a bar in our old living room, transformed to an amazing game room, updating our staircase, front door with black matte paint and redesigned a closed off wall in our entryway! I could go on & on with the attention to detail! Chris sourced all of our materials and his experience is evident! The crew were on time, Professionnel, kind, clean and talented! Chris & his crew are the BEST of the BEST! Looking forward to his vision in our bathroom remodel! We really appreciate Chris taking our project on and delivering such outstanding results! read more

Where do I start? My wife and I hired Chris because of his stellar reviews, but what we got was a nightmarish experience with our kitchen/home remodel. First off, a remodel that should have been done within 6-8 months was dragged out for 16 months+, and we are still left with a punchlist of items that he will never finish. When we hired Chris, we had no idea that he was running a side business. We soon learned something was up as he wouldn't return calls or texts for a week or more. It wasn't until 3 months in that he fessed up that he his priority was his other business. He is dishonest, a cheat, and lacks any moral conscience. The communication was so bad that many times we felt we were harassing him just because we wanted a response or an update on an issue regarding our job. This was both uncomfortable and frustrating. He is so unprofessional and such a cheat that subcontractors and vendors will not continue to work with him, which we found out too late. For example, we provided a $3,000 payment to him for our cabinets, only to find out from the cabinet maker that he never got paid. The check that Chris wrote him bounced even though he asked us for the money for it. We also gave him a check for $7000 for Andersen doors. For some reason, Andersen delivered the sliding doors minus the screen door. After numerous phone calls, and a personal trip to the Anderson store, I found out that there was an outstanding amount of $2000 that was still owed on the account, even though we paid Chris for the doors months ago. In addition, Chris ordered the wrong hardware for our doors, which meant my wife had to deal with that issue as well. In December, we placed on a hold on a island stone that we loved and informed Chris of such. As it was in the contract that he would pay and secure the item, we assumed it was all taken care of. It wasn't until months later when Chris finally got around to finding us a fabricator that we discovered he never made payment on our selection, and thus, it was sold to another customer. So, a week before the fabricator was to start our job, we had no countertop and no stone. We had to return to the stone store and start from square one. until Chris finally bailed on the job, even though there was a punchlist of items. We gave Chris more than numerous attempts to rectify the situation, waiting months, while he dragged us along, stating he would send someone over to, until he just completely dropped the ball. Now, since there's not so much to do that another contractor would get excited about, but enough to do that we'd need to hire someone else, it leaves us in a very vulnerable place in trying to hire someone else to come in and finish the job. Six months after we started the job, Chris had an issue where he had to be hospitalized. We were very understanding and sensitive to his situation, and decided to handle things ourselves. In a way, it was a lot easier, as instead of having to constantly nag Chris, we dealt directly with the subcontractors, which saved us a lot of time and frustration. On the other hand, though, we were left to our own devices. My wife essentially had to step in for the role of Chris, though she had no experience with remodeling. She had to step away from her job in order to do this, as it took all of the time she had while the kids were in school. For example, she had to measure the backsplash and the double-sided floor to ceiling fireplace herself and try to figure out how much material to order. Everything took 3-4 visits to the vendor to figure out. In the end, things were not done as we would have liked as we were figuring it out as we went along, without anyone to guide us, as Chris had bailed on the job. He was not paying his employees, and as a result, the three guys who were on our job left his employ, and the one guy left stayed to help us, and we paid him directly. Chris is a very smooth guy, but beware, he is a con-artist, and has ripped off a lot of people financially, including his clients, vendors, and his employees. read more

We had a whole kitchen demo, a ton of dry rot which needed to be cut out and repaired, old appliances that needed to be tossed, new appliances which needed to be installed, 2 sinks that needed to be set, new counters and backsplash.
