A wall that is over 1/2 an inch out of straight with the rest of the wall is this quality..

The builder that doesn't live up to what they advertise. "Superior quality, versatile design, uncompromising value, desirable locations and green building are just a few of the defining characteristics Signature Homes has embraced for more than 30 years." "industry's best talents in home design, construction, customer service and sales." www.sighomes.com They overcharge like most builders then take 6+ months to do warranty work but state items are not warranty related when building code and home buyer information would say the opposite. Make sure you get everything in writing which they want do either. Everything done on a hand shake then they go back on the hand shake all the way up to the CEO and chairman. Bad customer service, bad quality of work, bad attitude.

No dust control.

This is about the building of centra community in livermore. These guys don't care about the surrounding neighbors when building. They only care about finishing their jobs so they can make that money. Their dust control is zero. Dust every where and they don't cars. We go to the city and file a complaint but the city if Livermore doesn't do anything. Why? Because they got their millions for permits and are forcing them to do parts of road repairs and park maintenance so they don't cars about the nearby houses and businesses. First few weeks that they were building the homes there were long nails in the street. We tell them about it and they said kids come and night and throw things around. Well if you make sure the gates are closes no one comes.the dust control truck only came after numerous complaints from neighbors and businesses and yet Buy from a company that respects the community and neighbors.

I hired Prime to renovate my kitchen - countertops, backsplash, cabinets, electrical, freezer, etc…read more They also helped install a new bidet toilet for me. Overall the experience was very good; Elijah and Bryan were super friendly and responsive. Eli was very patient and accommodating as we discussed several different potential change orders, from new windows to painting, to other misc. things that popped up. Bryan Luna was especially a pleasure to work with. His attention to detail and proactivity to solve any little thing I mentioned was definitely the highlight of working with Prime. Their contracted electrician, Hector, was great as well. I also think they did a great job building out a cabinet to fit our freezer next to the matching fridge. Their master carpenter managed to salvage our existing wood to make it match perfectly. Definitely better than what I'd expect from even a carpentry specialty contractor. I will mention that it wasn't without some snags. Prime deals in volume so they're very busy. I think because I had delays in sourcing a freezer I ended up not getting a dedicated project manager for some time. We had timeline issues made worse with holidays. This caused cascading delays which inevitably pushed back my move in date a few weeks. When I finally did get a new project manager, they ghosted me (later on I found out they had a family emergency). Eli had to step in again to help. Another thing is that their pricing is quite opaque. The estimate will break down prices by milestones, but they repeated told me that it's not a valuation of the milestone itself. This made it nigh impossible to understand if I wanted to contract out specific pieces of the project (e.g. flooring). Design was OK. I felt that the designer was very busy. Sometimes very responsive (5min replies), sometimes not responsive at all (no reply). I wish I had a better, more thorough back-and-forth session about the intricacies of the design. But we made do. Ultimately, the designer made a render and helped point us to some vendors, but from there we had to make our own selection alone (cabinets, handles, pendant lights, faucets, etc.). I did appreciate her presence when we picked out countertops, though. All in all, I think this was a 4.5 star job, but I'm rounding to 5 because of Eli and Bryan :)

We contracted Prime Design & Build to remodel two bathrooms, a laundry room, a staircase, and to…read moreinstall hardwood flooring. Overall, the project went well, and we're happy with the final results. Bryan, our foreman, was a strong asset to the project. Even though he was managing multiple jobs at the same time, his responsiveness and willingness to go out of his way to address our concerns made a big difference. Because we were home throughout the process, we were able to catch issues early and communicate them directly to Bryan, who consistently followed through to resolve them. What Went Well: * The tile and flooring subcontractors were excellent - their craftsmanship and attention to detail truly stood out. * Bryan, our foreman, was responsive to texts and phone calls, listened to our concerns, and made sure they were addressed. He even designed a bi-fold closet door for us, and helped pick up all the material to build it. * Bryan also took the initiative to handle several unfinished items himself, which we really appreciated. * The post-build cleaners were top-notch and left the space in pristine condition. * Throughout the project, everyone we interacted with was professional, courteous, and conscientious. There were no conflicts or issues, which made the experience comfortable for us. Areas for Improvement: * The timeline was a pain point. While we were originally told the project would take 6-8 weeks, it ended up stretching to 12 weeks. * The design process fell short of expectations. Because Prime's in-house designers weren't available, our design work was outsourced. We only received a full design package for the master bathroom. As a result, we ended up creating our own renderings for the other rooms to help communicate our vision to the team. That said, we were very happy with the design and material selections for the master bathroom they did complete. We just wish the same level of attention and design support had been provided for the rest of the project. * At times, resource availability was limited, likely due to workers being assigned to multiple jobs. This led to workflow inefficiencies and delays. Toward the end of our renovation, our foreman Bryan had to personally step in to complete several tasks, such as installing faucets, shelving, and baseboards. He managed to get it done in between site visits and meetings, which we appreciated, but it also highlighted a lack of available crew to close out the project. Despite these few challenges, the quality of the work met our expectations. We appreciated the team's effort and the final outcome.

I signed a purchase agreement on a home. A week later they dropped prices on similar homes by $22K. We requested them to adjust the price as any decent national builder would do. But Lennar doesn't give a s**t about you once you are trapped in the contract. So they denied. Never again in my life I'm doing business with this company. I advise you all to also add price drop contingency in your purchase agreement if you decide to deal with the devil or better yet stay away.

Great customer service supporting electrical you installed Lennar. Landscaping is horrible, nor will Lennar let HOA do anything about it. Parking is also insane, be prepared for hundreds of dollars for your first curbside parking pass and $600 for the 2nd car, you need to register guests on an app too and only get a bunch of hours a year. Everyday the Facebook group we have is full of complaints which fall on deaf ears. Right now there's a big thread on Facebook about landscaping, which they have refused to do anything about for years. Nor are we allowed to maintain or do anything about it ourselves. Here's some photos of what your yard will look like after a few months, I'd say stay away till Lennar actually turns over power to HOA to do anything.

He recommended Debernardi. Debernardi responded quickly to my call and assessed the situation, agreeing with the plumber about the problem. They scheduled a repair in a few days, but had to delay due to a COVID watch limiting their personnel available. We rescheduled for the following week. A worker and Jeff, the owner, came on time (7:45am). We discussed the job, and I said do it for time at $134/hour and materials. The worker removed the siding, fixed the leak, replacing some plastic pipe, put on new siding and repainted (I had some exterior house paint), all by 2:30 pm. They did a fine job. Everyone from Bernardi knew what they were doing, and did what they said they would do.

We didn't need any extra stress, and they were just perfect. We were able to live in the house during construction, and they were always great about keeping the workspace clean and organized when they left for the day. The quality of work was outstanding, they were great in setting cost expectations and sticking to them, and the crew was great about being both prompt every day and thorough. They really pay attention to the details, made all the trim and wall texturing match perfectly with existing finishes. I have many friends and colleagues who have experience with builders and general contractors, and none of their stories compare to the outstanding experience of working with the DeBernardi team. They are amazing...oh, and this review is completely unsolicited. I'm just a very happy customer who finally got around to posting my review now 14 months since work finished. - Mike
