Best time to come here is Happy Hour before 6, since crowds of young people flock this place for late night drinks. Incidentally, I always notice a very healthy under-30 crowd. Came here at 5:30 and loved the HH specials. Generous TV screen set up and spacious hall adds to the atmosphere of merrinent. The bar staff is super attentive, which is appreciated. Overall recommend.

I LOVEE this bar!!! It's my favorite ambiance, vibe, food, etc. This spot is always rowdy and they have tons of tvs, great food options, and drinks. October is my favorite time to come to this bar because they have a reallyyyyy goood October fest beer. We came on the weekend and it was already hard to find a table around 12:30 pm. There were a couple of tables reserved so we couldn't sit there. We ordered: October fest beer it came in the 1L beer stein 10/10 Bronson Reuben Sandwich with tater tots 9/10 Huge sandwich! Bursting with flavor Pizza Pretzel 9/10 Gigantic pretzels super delicious. I love their queso but it didn't come with the queso. I didn't get a picture I was too busy easy Overall, this is my favorite bar and a solid choice. Especially because I don't like bar food like that. I highly recommend this spot.

Nice indoor beer spot for Happy Hour. Came here after work and it's a good place to chat, watch the game, etc Fried pickles are an acquired taste but the mozzarella bites were good! I also asked for a sweet cocktail so they gave me a summer coolade (?) and it was nice and refreshing.

Super chill pub with a great outdoor area in Arlington! Service was quick and good. Food was ok: - Stuffed pretzel: 10/10 (probably the best dish we ordered! It was cheesy and savory. Loved the dipping sauce it came with.) - Sausage board: 8/10 (decent variety of sausages with mustard on the side) - Buffalo wings: 6/10 (ok wings) - Beer: 7/10 (a lot of the beer selection was out of stock by the time we got there. Beer was good but it would've been better if the beer was a bit colder.)

Been here recently and this is a great sports bar. There is alot of seating but can get packed if there are big games going on. There is outdoor seating with heat lamps which are very warm! The food and drinks are good. You scan the barcode at your table to order and pay and they bring it out to you so there is no hassle to wait for a check or waiter.

This pub is super chill. You walk in and find your spot wherever you find it. They have really good food!! I got old bay wings (made crispy/well done) and I also got the berry salad and added steak. My sister got the blue crab pretzel and just as a heads up, ITS HUGE! Not an item for one person. For a drink, I got Sauvignon Blanc. All items are reasonable priced and there is outdoor seating. It can get SUPER loud inside so that can be a bit over stimulating. I found myself plugging my ears with my fingers There is street parking or garages around - me and my sister took the train from DC and called it a day. To order, you can scan the barcode on your table and the server will bring your food to the table. Super fast and easy.

Came to watch a basketball game, and was surprised my friends and i were able to get a seat. Usually Bronson's is packed when games are on. However, this time it had a nice amount of people. They also had live music, the singer was amazing. I wish i would have gotten his name. I got what I have gotten before which is the sliders, which were delicious and not too heavy. I split that, and a caesar salad with my friend which was a nice size portion and super good. We got the prickly pear margarita, and were not a fan at all. I had one sip and it tasted as if I was drinking hot sauce. I tried to add sprite and water to make it better but unfortunately it was undrinkable. My friend said she has had this drink before and it was a different color and tasted different, so maybe it was just made incorrectly. Not sure I will try it again, but my curiosity is getting the better of me so we shall see. We finished off our meal with the cookie skillet, which was a large portion of a giant chocolate chip cookie and ice cream. It was surprisingly only $7 and was enough for 3 people. Great place for some shareables, and drinks.

Surprisingly great food for a beer hall! Reasonably priced too. I love the vibes of the indoor and outdoor seating. There's plenty of tables in both spaces too which is great for big groups. It's seat yourself and you don't really have wait staff, you order with a QR code. Great vibes with lots of live music

I had been here twice, once in early January 2024 and once on Saturday, December 14, 2024, both were the same friend's birthday party. For his December 2023 birthday, he decided to wait until after holidays as it was a busy time for him & people in general. I'll into more detail about the December visit, but the January visit I had a burger & fries and a beer. It was decent, but nothing to write home about. In December, my girlfriend & I had a tight schedule on that Saturday and determined we were going to need to eat there, as we had something after the birthday party as well. I wasn't that enthusiastic about this (as I felt it was kind of overpriced, mediocre, and if we had time we could've eaten before or after), but we didn't have much choice. Both visits the inside area was crowded, but we did the outside patio area, which was cold in the winter, but not really too bad with some heat lamps around. In January, we were at a couple of high top tables, but the December visit was at a long picnic bench. I had forgotten from the January visit, but this was something that was annoying; there is a scanner to get the menu, and then you had to place the order on your phone with no servers except for when they bring the food/drink to your table # and to clean. I didn't like this setup. For one I prefer looking on a physical menu instead of scrolling through a small phone to determine what I want. I like when a server comes around (or ordering at a counter). I'm sure you could go inside to order food with the bartender, but that would be hassle with us being outside and being a crowded bar. On this long outside table, the scanner was only on our side of the long table, which was fine for us. But some at the party had to come from way over at the other end of the table just to scan as their side didn't have, which we thought was stupid; they should've been on both sides of the table. Also, it asks for a tip ahead of time. I'm not going to tip ahead of time until I know whatever service I'm getting is decent. In January, I left a couple of bucks in cash since it's not even full service. In December, we left and forgot since we paid up front (oh well). We waited a little bit as we weren't that hungry but knew we needed to eat. We waited about 30 minutes to see what a few people got. We determined the pizza looked good. Someone let us sample the pretzel; it was decent, but I didn't want some big bulky pretzel for dinner, which wasn't that great. We decided to get hush puppies & split pizza. The hush puppies were excellent, the best I've had in while! The pizza was good, but plenty of better pizza places, but it hit the mark enough with the chicken & mushroom. If my friend does his birthday party here again, I might try to eat before (or after). But if we were going to eat here, I'd definitely recommend the hush puppies. Pizza I'd be fine with getting again.

    Blue Crab Pretzel.

Always enjoy watching a game at Bronson. Seating can be difficult to grab when there is a big game on but usually we're able to snag a seat or two! Ordering from the table QR code is always quick and the bar is just as fast. I appreciate the variety of drink options (especially as someone who doesn't love beer) and the food is delicious. I highly recommend one of their stuffed pretzels or sweet potato fries!

When we walked in, we thought it was gonna be packed because there were no reservations on OpenTable however they were able to see us right away. A very nice touch to add a stem of Rose for the women. I would say that I gave it a lower star rating not because the food was bad. It was actually delicious, but probably the experience itself. The restaurant felt chaotic, and even though all the tables were not completely packed of course there were flowers everywhere people gathering with grandmother's mother's children, etc We were seated in a two people table and all the top past dishes started to pile up very quickly. Instead of monitoring, the progress of the finished dishes and removing those dishes due to space constraint, the dishes came from the kitchen, almost on top of one another, and at one point I had to hold a dish in my hand in order to make space to put a dish on top of another flatbread pan/dish, making things super chaotic. Also dishes had to be put on top of the menu because in order to order additional food, you need to leave at least one copy of the menu at the table. Overall, again the flavors and taste were good, though I might have had similar dishes from other places, and my partner commented that some of it is actually very close to the Capital One landing at DCA. I would just say that it was more due to the chaos and just the way that all the dishes piled up on top of us we felt like we were we had to eat super quickly so that we could stack dishes ourselves and create room at the table. Also, when serving the dishes were not kept level and basically was slide to the side of the dish, making presentation off

We were celebrating an old friend's birthday, so I wanted a special evening. We went to the Signature to see "Safety Not Guaranteed" which was so good and so much fun. Then on to dinner at Carlyle in Shirlington. Carlyle always pumps out some of the most satisfying meals. You are almost guaranteed to love what the kitchen presents you with. This event was no different. I started with the crab & corn chowder. Thick, luxurious, savory perfection! My main course was Jambalaya Pasta which was outstanding. The chicken was moist, the shrimp was perfectly prepared and the andouille sausage added a perfect piquant note. The creamy sauce finished a great dish. There was so much that I could not eat it all (and I usually eat everything that is placed in front of me). But the best - the ABSOLUTE BEST - part of the evening was our perfect server Sebastian. He was professional, friendly, fast, funny, helpful and everything you want in a server. Plus, he did it all with one of the best personalities that I have ever come across in a server. At one point, we were all laughing so hard, that he had to sit down because he was ready to fall over. He served us, yes! But more than that - he ENTERTAINED US!!!! How often has that ever happened to you??? It is a night that I will not soon forget! Sebastian is a smart guy who will no doubt go far in his life. But, for now, for right now, he is at the top of his game at Carlyle! If you love Carlyle, you will absolutely LOVE Sebastian. Please ask to be placed in his station. I promise he will not disappoint you. Thank you, Sebastian, for making my evening wonderful and for making my BFF's birthday dinner a stunning success, thanks to you!!!! When we made the reservation in advance, we called to ask if happy hour was everywhere or just at the bar; they said everywhere, so we booked a table. Plot twist, it's only at the bar / downstairs :))) We arrived 15 minutes early, so while they got our table ready, we ordered at the bar. 5 stars for the bartender. If I could review her, the host, and the happy hour prices in isolation, I would! They moved us upstairs, we sat down, and immediately saw the menus were different. We asked the gentleman bringing waters about happy hour and he sent the waiter over. The waiter, with about 2% helpfulness, shared that happy hour is only downstairs. I mentioned that we had called in advance to ask. We asked if it would be possible to have that menu or perhaps move. The conversation felt like pulling teeth. He said, with much dismissiveness, it was up to the host downstairs to move and if they had availability and left. (Fair, we move, he doesn't get his tip. An alternative? Give us the happy hour menu, still get your tip. Better yet, just be slightly helpful?) The host downstairs found us a table but shared it was booked at 6:15 so we needed to be in and out. It was no problem because we had arrived before 5 (early, remember?). Although, it took 15 minutes (I timed it!) for anyone to come bring waters or address us as their table. A little hard to operate with urgency when no one takes your order!! I got up, told the host stand, and they sent a server over, and he proceeded to come back all of three times. We also had to flag him down to get our check, while we sat with empty waters that were never once refilled. We had pizza, cod sliders, and half orders of aglio e olio pasta. The cod sliders were more breadding than fish, but the flavor was decent. The pasta was delicious. No five star Italian meal, but it hit the spot and the portion was plentiful. I didn't try the pizza but it was 12 inches, piping hot, and the two eating it couldn't finish it. The food came out quickly and hot. I think we spent under or just about $100 for four folks to have dinner + drinks, so the prices are really solid. Perhaps you get what you pay for though? Both of our male servers seemed annoyed to be dealing with us and mostly unhelpful. Noteworthy mention: there was a female server who was kind enough to bring us a brown paper bag for our to go box. She was running around and her tables seemed well cared for. Disappointed in my experience and the customer service.

Enjoyed conversation and the surroundings. Ordered the pork belly appetiser. The sauces and garnishes made the dish - a salty, umami blend of textures. The layered potatoes were a little disappointing, quite oily. Definitely a top notch place for a happy hour or night cap drink. Food has good flavors but some execution shortcomings. Will probably try another dish or two in the future.
