    Iced Pineapple Matcha
    Jessica V.

Had free kids meal gift certificates so we finally tried this place out! Seated right away at 8:30am on a Sunday, with great quick service. Our kids loved their breakfasts, and so did we! I tried the new pineapple matcha and it was good! Biscuits and gravy so delicious, and mom's omelette was amazing too. Coffee was flowing, generous portions, clean place! We will totally be back!!

The service was good. The food was great cute little restaurant to eat at the wait was a bit long, but it was Mother's Day and it was only an hour, so really can't complain about that but we really loved it and enjoyed ourselves. Will be going there again soon, our waitress was great. I don't remember her name. We sat in a corner booth right when you walk into the right go by little couple booths and then the one in the corner there on Mother's Day morning about 10 1030. I wish I remembered her name but I'd like to give her props as well. She was a great waitress.

The broken yolk is a long time regular breakfast/brunch place for me. I've been eating here for many years. My girlfriend and I were looking for brunch while waiting for an appointment nearby so we hit up the broken yolk. As usual it didn't disappoint. We both went with the French toast combo. She ordered a side of country potatoes and we split them. We put ourselves on the online waiting list and were seated as soon as we arrived. Our hostess took drink orders and our server verified the drinks and took our orders. Our drinks came right out and our food followed shortly thereafter. We'll definitely be back.

The Broken Yolk Cafe really checks all the boxes for a prime brunch experience. The service was consistent and quick as we were able to be seated right away. There aren't any views available here but the chefs here can definitely cook one up for you.

This restaurant has a large fun menu with lots of choices you are sure to find something you may enjoy. The restaurant is clean and there is plenty of parking to be had. The service is ok. They are neither attentive nor are they dismissive. It could just be that I went in a Saturday afternoon and they were busy. The food itself to me was subpar. Avocado toast - very very thin layer of avocado. The toast was more a bread than toast so it didn't have that fun texture difference. Completely overloaded with the onions. Eggs Bennie- was sloppy in presentation and the egg was way over cooked. The sauce was nice but almost too much. I am unsure if it is just because I went on the weekend but the reviews do not match what I experienced. I may come again not during the weekend time to check.

Much better this time! I ordered for delivery. My husband loves breakfast so much. I like breakfast, but it's not my favorite. I ordered the build your own omelette with hash-browns and an orange juice. The omelette needed more cheese. It was all egg. My husband got a Cali breakfast burrito and the biscuit and gravy meal. He said it was really good and enjoyed it. Service was great, we got all the condiments we requested. Food was still warm on delivery.

The service here is amazing! I had called ahead to see if they could accommodate a large group with dogs and they said they could. I hadn't specified a time or asked for a reservation but when I arrived they had set aside a table for us already. The food was delicious with huge portion sizes. Everyone from our party had to get to go boxes because the plates were that large. I'd recommend trying out some of their omelettes or biscuits and gravy.

We went here for brunch on our LA trip. I ordered the Ranchero skillet...spices. Fast service. Love going here on our LA trips

Border Benedict with hashbrowns The Homefries are better than the Hashbrowns.
    Jasmine N.

The Border Benedict is my jam. Sometimes the meat is a bit dry and not super flavorful, but the sauce with the sweet corn cake and all the other flavors are so good. They also have mimosa and Bloody Mary flights, which I loved because I always want to try everything. Their menu is definitely a bit overwhelming. When I couldn't decide, our server let us know we could mix and match Benedict's! That's awesome! I decided to mix and match and got one border and one sope Benedict. They were both delicious, but the border Benedict is still my favorite. Our server also offered us free reusable tote bags! I recently tried their takeout, which held up well! Of course I got the Border Benedict and my friend got the waffle. The Border Benedict was delicious as usual, but I wasn't happy they didn't let us know there was no butter or syrup in the bag for the waffle. They didn't ask me what kind of potatoes when I ordered over the phone, and i ended up with hashbrowns. The homefries are better. This place can get packed, so I try not to go during busy times, and make sure you check your order and ask for any condiments before you go!

Mexican Inspired American Breakfast! Food: The food was a bit bland, but I can appreciate the unique menu options for an American style restaurant! Service: Workers were kind and quick! Ambiance: The place is spacious and getting seating was fast! Lots of natural light!

    Holiday decor!

The Broken Yolk is one of our favorite breakfast chains. This spot didn't disappoint. The place isn't hard to find and there's plenty of parking. The inside is roomy and we were pleasantly surprised to see holiday-themed decor. You can argue about pulling out the Christmas tree before Thanksgiving, but it was nice. We came on a weekday around noon and it wasn't busy. We were seated and served promptly, with hot coffees and water brought out right away. I ordered a meat lover's skillet, which had ham, sausages, peppers and thinly sliced potatoes with three eggs on top, I ordered mine over easy, and opened them up so the yolk could mix into the rest of the food. The skillet didn't look as big as I had hoped, but it was plenty filling. My +1 ordered a salmon eggs Benedict, which was tender and delicious. The capers went well with the salmon and the hollandaise sauce brought it all together. They also have kid's options, and our little one must be in the middle of a growth spurt because he's constantly hungry. The generous portion of pancakes, along with a scrambled egg and two pieces of bacon, were enough to satisfy him. For the time being. Overall, the food was great, service was great, and we left satisfied.

This is my first time here. It is a bit chilly coming in so come with a sweater, jacket, or wear something warm. I'm glad I did since the weather was cold out anyway. The music playlist is amazing. It went from 90s R&B to 2000's punk to the 80's classic rock and 80's funk. So I'm all down for that since that's my type of music taste. We were asked what to drink and my family and I had ordered regular hot coffee. They do have a Coffee Bar on the back side of their menu, along with many options of beverages to choose from. They have so many breakfast options too. Everything sounds so good so you know I'm coming back to try many more things. They also have good options for lunch as well. I'm looking at the Chilaquiles Bowl for my choice as breakfast with carne asada, red sauce and the eggs over medium- sunny side up. And left everything else on it like jack cheese, red onion, cilantro, & sour cream. This one is found under the breakfast section called South Of The Border. Our server Eunice was especially sweet. And fixed our order. We just need to add som veggies to the house fries. She worked on it right away. And she kept checking on our table and attentive. Eunice you made my first time at this establishment a wonderful experience. Thank you!

My son called Culinary Dropout and spoke with Olivia, the hostess, to see if the kitchen was still serving. Olivia responded with genuine warmth and kindness, assuring us that the kitchen was still open and that they would be happy to welcome us. From the moment we arrived, Olivia's hospitality set the tone for an exceptional evening. She greeted us with a warm smile, made us feel genuinely welcome, and promptly seated us. Shortly after, our server, Layla, introduced herself. Despite the late hour, she was energetic, engaging, and had an infectious enthusiasm that elevated the entire dining experience. She expertly recommended several cocktails, along with a glass of wine, and her knowledge of both the bar program and the menu was impressive. Her recommendations for appetizers and entrées were spot on. We decided on the Wagyu Pigs in a Blanket, BBQ Nachos, and the Spicy Rigatoni. Every dish was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. Another team member, Emanuel, delivered one of our dishes and was equally personable and engaging. He took the time to share information about the restaurant, further demonstrating the outstanding level of hospitality displayed by the entire team. Manager Dave also stopped by our table to check on our experience. We shared with him that this was, without question, one of the best dining experiences we've had in Orange County in quite some time. Great food certainly matters, but it was the exceptional service, genuine hospitality, and positive energy of the staff that made the evening truly memorable. A sincere thank you to Layla, Olivia, Emanuel, Dave, and the entire Culinary Dropout team for creating such a first-class dining experience. I'm currently 8 months pregnant, and I had my baby shower at Benchmark on July 25, 2026. This is my first baby, and my best friend and sister spent countless hours planning the shower. They invested so much time, effort, and money to make it a special day, and we were all incredibly excited. When we arrived, the event space was extremely hot. We were informed that the air conditioning had broken the night before and were given a few fans to help. I was surprised that no one had contacted us ahead of time, especially since it was 95 degrees outside. At the very least, I expected someone to discuss alternative options or move us to another area, but that never happened. As guests began arriving, the heat only became worse. Our shower was from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and by the end, everyone was sweating and fanning themselves. It was incredibly uncomfortable and definitely put a damper on what was supposed to be such a memorable day. Another issue was that servers were constantly walking through our private event space because the restaurant's freezer was located in the back. Throughout the entire shower, staff were repeatedly coming in and out. This was never disclosed to us when we booked the event. Even with all of that, I tried to be understanding. Equipment fails, and I know unexpected situations happen. I expected that a manager would come speak with us, apologize, and try to make things right. Unfortunately, that never happened. Instead, we were given only $150 off a $2,600 bill. The food itself was delicious, but because of the extreme heat, we couldn't comfortably enjoy it or safely take leftovers home. It felt like we were sitting in an oven. After the event, my best friend contacted the manager, Pedro. It took about a week for him to respond. He acknowledged that they should have informed us about the staff traffic through our event space and admitted that he should have personally apologized for the air conditioning issue. He offered us a gift card, but we requested reimbursement of the $400 room fee instead. Since they had already deducted $150 from the bill, we asked for an additional $250, which seemed like a reasonable compromise considering the circumstances. His response was that they still had to pay the servers and cover the cost of the table linens. That explanation was extremely disappointing. We were also required to pay a 22% service charge for servers who, understandably, weren't present much because the room was so unbearably hot. This experience turned what should have been one of the happiest days of my pregnancy into a stressful and disappointing memory. While I understand that mechanical issues happen, it's how a business responds that truly matters. Unfortunately, the lack of communication before the event, the absence of management during the party, and the unwillingness to provide what we felt was a fair resolution left us feeling undervalued as customers. I hope management takes this feedback seriously so future guests don't have a similar experience.

No. No meant no table. She told me it would be a couple hour wait when I could see there were tables available. I made a reservation this Sunday. Unfortunately, buffet brunch only. I could see the chafing dishes from outside, but decided to dine here anyway. There was a family sitting outside on the patio, but since it was warm outside, when the hostess asked inside or outside, I said inside. The waitress told me about the $59/person Sunday brunch. No espresso drinks, but it includes bottomless mimosas. Champaign with orange, pineapple, cranberry juice, or all three. Yes, all three please. Eggs are custom made orders by request. The brunch buffet had great options. It included, pancakes, waffles, French toast, crepes, pasta, potatoes, cod, chicken, meats, salads, pizza, fruit, yogurt, various breads, crème brûlée, and mini chocolates. My mimosa was perfect, since I poured my side juices in myself. The food all tasted great. My complaint is the eggs. I ordered two fried eggs. I had to remind her of the order because I believe the kitchen forgot my eggs. She made an excuse that they were busy. I don't think so, since I could see the three of them from my table. When I received them, they were hot and fresh, but the worst fried egg I've ever had. Ugly and runny. A fried egg should be the easiest thing to prepare. Disappointing. The entire time I was here, there were at most five parties. One was a large group celebrating a birthday. Not crowded on Sundays. No reservation required. I only had two separate plates of food and a plate of desserts. Unless you eat or drink a lot, the price of the buffet brunch is not worth it. In summary, service was good. My champagne glass was never empty. Excluding the eggs, all the food tasted great. I like the overall look of the restaurant. The Sunday buffet brunch is not my first choice.

The music was at a good volume--enough background noise to create a nice atmosphere while still allowing for easy conversation. The food was delicious, and the portions are truly shareable! Tuna Melt: Delicious! You can choose between a side of potatoes, salad, or fries. I went with the fries, and they were great. Poke Salad: My friend said it was delicious. It had a nice spicy kick, but it was still really good. Thai Pasta: To me, it gave Asian chicken salad vibes--but with spaghetti. It was definitely unique and tasty! Strawberry Drop: I would rate it a 7/10. Gemblet: My friend didn't provide a review, so I'll let you try it and decide for yourself! Overall, Reunion is a great spot for good food, shareable portions, drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere where you can actually enjoy a conversation. Definitely worth checking out!

Our server was very attentive. We could not ask for better service. I had the ribs. They were moist, tender and very flavorful. I will be coming back.
