We had a nice dinner here. The service was friendly and the atmosphere felt grown and welcoming--perfect for a relaxed night out. My husband really enjoyed his steak, and the crab cakes were decent. The crab dip appetizer was just okay, but my cocktail was both delicious and beautifully presented. The highlight of the evening was definitely the dessert--the toffee cake was amazing! 10/10 recommend it if you go. The restaurant is tucked inside the same building as the arcade, so it took us a minute to find it. There's also a cute flower wall for photos. Overall it was a nice experience and worth checking out if you're in the area!

I found a hair in my Caesar salad. And it took an hour for us to even receive our food. For the prices, I wouldn't say it's worth it. The decor is not great, not as classy as I think they are going for. Bathrooms were outdated and dirty. We had to ask to have our drinks refilled. The taste of the food was good for the most part. We will not be back.

Cute little restaurant in Corolla, up on the second story of a shopping center. Early for dinner, probably don't need a reservation, but the place does get busier as the evening goes on. The bar area is lit by neon green lights, which...is a look, for sure. It's almost as if the place turns into a club at night? Dunno. Anyway, food. The restaurant area itself is quite nice, and the service was very friendly. The menu is quite large, and they have some stuff for kids in addition to adults. For starters, we had some mozzarella sticks, just because we were starving and they sounded good. They were good, because fried cheese, but nothing crazy; just mass-produced type of deal. The cocktails were tremendously good! Had a few of those, and both of which were quite good. For dinner, we had scallops and the shrimp and grits. The scallops were well cooked and delicious! The real winner was the shrimp and grits, though! absolutely tremendous! one of the best servings of shrimp and grits i've ever had. wanted to lick the plate when i was done! a little bread would've been good to wipe up the remaining sauce. And this place actually was not that expensive, which was nice! I don't know the area overly well, but it honestly feels like a hidden gem. Definitely check this place out for a wonderful dinner!

We read the reviews and thought we'd give the Broken Plate Kitchen. While there was plenty of parking and the hostess staff members were delightful, we were only quickly greeted by our waiter, and saw him minimal the rest of the time we were there ( intro with drink order, food order, and check at end - our food was delivered by someone else). We have 11-month old twins, and although we understand that maybe it was felt they were doing us or others a favor by placing the four of us in the bar area (by ourselves) and not in the main dining area with everyone else, it felt as if we were disregarded and not appreciated. Our twins are really well behaved, so to assume they wouldn't be was pretty shameful (if that was the case). We watched other parties come in and be sat with the "main diners" as we continued to be ignored, and not even be asked how our meal was. Disappointed.

I wasn't sure about this place because the pictures online didn't look like casual dining and we were traveling with children. To our surprise this was a very family friendly restaurant. Service was excellent-- very friendly, prompt and courteous. We felt welcomed right away. The food was a hit for all ages! A food menu for all. The drinks were delicious as well. Would return again.

Place is "new" Very fancy looking inside. Upstairs from an arcade. They did not however renovate the restrooms. Food was ok. Cream of crab soup was loose. Not thick and creamy as described by waiter. Shrimp and grits were good. Kids mac n cheese must've been underdone bc my son said there were crunchy pieces in it. Had to send my burger back bc I wanted it well done and it was not. I wouldn't go back. We go to corolla every year so we had to check out the newest place. The waiter did however let my aunt and I order off the kids menu because we just wanted regular cheeseburgers.

So we came here because we saw photos of fancy milkshakes. This is not the same place. They have renovated and made the dessert portion of their menu a sister location called Tasty Treats across the parking lot. The food was decent. Ashley our server was great. The crab dip appetizer was tasty and the crab cake sandwich was really good. Not a whole lot of filler in the cake. The chicken sandwich was fine but not great. A little thin and a little dry. Still good food, a good menu and a nice, cool reprieve from a hot day.

The waitress and service was fantastic. The Rasta Pasta and Scallops were great. One tiny complaint were the couple annoying flies around.

Really good food. Much better than the space that used to be there before. Would go back next time we are here.

This is one of our fave places for either lunch or dinner. In either case, be ready for a wait depending on what time of day it is. The food is worth it, though. If space is available, you can choose to sit at the bar. They have a couple TVs. We've had everything from one of the daily specials (fried flounder sandwich is one example), to the cheeseburger, to the fish tacos, and more. Their 'island fries' are yummy. They have a selection of Tortuga's Lie gear for sale, so be sure to browse if you have to wait for a table. They have plenty of parking -- look for the large lot just north of the restaurant. Be sure to swing by Tortuga's Lie for a bite to eat, no matter what time of year you're here!

I ordered the ahi sandwich and it was very good, even if it was a little over-cooked for my taste. But the best part of the meal was the chocolate pecan pie! It was so good, we got two pieces to go! I'd go again just for the pie. For being the off season, I was surprised by how crowded it was, but that's a testament of how good it was. The locals know what they're talking about when they recommend a place. Tortuga's Lie was recommended to us by one of the tour guides we met when we went to see the wild horses. I'll go back.
