Excellent installers…read more This review is a little late since the install was about 3 years ago. But I've had no issues and so I decided to give a review. I requested to install an 85" TV in the living room with a Sonos sound bar and separate wireless subwoofer. I also bought a PS5 and asked them to install and route the wires. I asked for high quality wires that can handle 4K or higher and they made sure of it and showed me the box/manufacturer of the cables. I did buy an expensive TV mount but they told me that I would be better off buying a cheaper cost mount that extended better and recommended me one from Walmart. They weren't wrong. So I returned the expensive one. I appreciate their expertise and recommendation. They knew that I was very picky on installation details, routing wiring (especially hiding visible wires), mounting location and they did an excellent job. I would definitely hire them again.

I had been without a working TV for quite awhile, and Samsung was scheduled to come mid-afternoon today. I was really hoping to be able to watch the 49ers game at 5:00 PM. Josh dispatched Eric and his helper (his delightful and very capable spouse), and they stayed until after 6:30 PM on a Saturday night making sure everything was perfect. They didn't just mount the TV -- they handled all the moving parts: getting the Samsung and Xfinity remotes working correctly, restoring soundbar volume control, troubleshooting connection issues, and reconnecting my Apple TV. I had an old 65", mounted (too high) on the wall. Anthony knew exactly what needed to be done. They took down the old TV, took off the mount, patched up the old inlet of the conduit, made a new inlet, threaded cables through, mounted the TV lower (with my new mounting bracket), and hauled away the old TV. Anthony has done a lot of work in my building before and knew exactly where the studs would be and that there would be a transverse metal bar that wound make threading cables hard if you were to not know it existed. After furnishing the room with a comfortable futon, I figured that we should upgrade the 42 inch tv that currently resided in the room to something a bit bigger (so American of me). While at Best Buy waiting to pick up a new tv, I began looking at tv stands; however, most of the stands were bulky and would conflict with the minimalist approach that I was aiming for. I immediately started watching YouTube videos on how to install a TV wall mount, and came to the conclusion that it was a job that my wife and I could take on. However, when the mount arrived at our home via Amazon, we realized that we much rather prefer to have a professional install it. I immediately did a Yelp search for "tv mounters" and the results led me to Alive Entertainments owned and operated by a gentleman named Francisco. Francisco not only had perfect reviews (and the photos to showcase his work), but also had a really cool bio about his journey working with electronics (ironically I had a similar upbringing in relation to installing car audio systems in my youth). I gave Francisco a call and was able to secure a same day appointment. Leading up to the set appointment time, Francisco did a great job of communicating his status. Francisco arrived at 1:23 pm and finished the installation at 2:10 pm, which was extremely quick. It probably would have been quicker had I not bothered Francisco with questions pertaining to the installation. I'm using the word bothered; however, Francisco did not seem bothered at all to patiently answer my questions. By the attention to detail that Francisco applied to the installation, it's pretty obvious that Francisco is knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. I'm looking forward to playing video games and using our spare room for at-home workouts on those days when I cannot make it to the gym. They had appointments available as soon as the next day which was unlike other companies we reached out to, and they were also the most affordable. They even gave us a call when they were on the way, and arrived right on time for our scheduled appointment. They were also polite and removed their shoes, and wore masks and abided by social distancing guidelines. We purchased a mount ourselves for them to use for mounting our TV on the wall. They explained everything thoroughly, and I could even hear Francisco explaining to his son each step along the way, as it seemed he was training him. It really showed how much he knew about what he was doing! Once the tv was mounted, Francisco m explained to us how to use the mount, and how to uninstall it if we ever needed to put up a new TV. I was impressed with their punctuality and their level of knowledge. Usually these kind of service appointments don't occur right on time. They were in and out, in less than one hour. If we ever have any entertainment needs in the future, I will be calling up Francisco again, no questions asked!
