Highly Recommend Nor-Cal Electric - Cade Riddle Today my…read morehusband discovered that our underground wiring that powers our well was smoking like a volcano, and the rainwater that had puddled around the area was literally boiling. We immediately shut off all power to the house, leaving us without both electricity and water. I called Cade Riddle, owner of Nor-Cal Electric, and he answered right away -- on a Sunday, no less. After explaining the situation, he understood the urgency and said he would be right over. Cade arrived within 30 minutes, quickly located the issue, and fixed the problem so we could safely get our household back up and running. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly throughout the entire process. We are incredibly grateful for his prompt response and excellent service. It's rare to find someone so dependable and willing to help in an emergency. I truly appreciate Cade and highly recommend Nor-Cal Electric to anyone in the West Point area or surrounding communities. Thank You, Alex & Laura Burley

Had Nathan out today and have only one word.... AMAZING!…read more He was very professional, performed clean work and was reasonably priced. One point that stood out is that he was punctual... This might sound odd to people who have become accustomed to the contractor "windows of time of arrival". Both times he came out, he gave an hour window. Both times he showed up at the earliest time he predicted... To me-- this reflects that he is considerate of MY schedule. Nathan was personable too. I felt like he actually cared about the job he was doing here and that I mattered as a customer! Note: this was only a small $250 job. So I believe if he was this good on a small job, imagine how he will be on a larger job...... definitely will be using him again!!! all four paws up, wiggling

The scope was significant: full Generac generator installation, a 1,000-gallon propane tank, transfer switch, and a 1-inch propane line run to the house. I didn't fully know what the right setup looked like going in -- I just knew I needed someone I could trust. Mike knew exactly what to do and built it right the first time. That 1-inch line is a perfect example of his thinking. At the time I didn't realize why it mattered, but now I know my system can handle a tankless water heater, future appliances, or whatever upgrades come next -- no bottlenecks, no limitations. That's the kind of foresight you don't find everywhere. Everything was done professionally, warranty was fully respected, and Mike has kept up with regular service in Amador County ever since. The system has been rock solid. If you're in Amador County and need propane or generator work done right -- not just installed, but truly set up to last -- call Mike. Best investment I've made in my property's reliability.
