I needed to have one smoke alarm replaced. It is in our living room at a high ceiling (20 feet up). I would recommend Halls Electric Co. over anyone else I've had to deal with. My GFI blew, on a Saturday, which also blew out my solar. This was totally a solar issue. I was in a panic, first off being a Saturday, and second off, because we have family members on medical devices that requires electricity. With the solar out it took out everything! total blackout. I called everywhere, and the only person to respond to me was Mike Hall. This gentleman came out within a two-hour or less notice, bypassed my solar in order to give me back total power in my home. After he fixed everything, he also replaced the GFI outlet in the bathroom. Over the top, right? Then came the part I dreaded most paying him I mean, after all it is a Saturday Talk about not price gouging !! He was more than fair with pricing! Not to mention, he also came back out today when they were coming to re-hook up our solar to speak to the solar guys about what he did to bypass the solar! We had a couple of relatively minor electrical problems in our home near Ione, CA. After attempting to contact an electrician we had used in the past and giving up after they did not get back to us, I found Halls doing an internet search. I contacted Halls by email and they responded the next day. One day later they called and said they would be out the next. They weren't on time; they were EARLY. Our tech got right to work and had the first problem solved right away. After some finagling with the wiring on our floodlight system, he got that back up and running within an hour and reinstalled our lights.
