    Hotpot

Great deal for AYCE hotpot! For about $30, each person gets their own pot and can pick whatever soup base/protein/veggies/ramen/etc. to put in. There are so many options incl. seafood and thinly cut meats, and the soup bases are delicious. We really enjoyed the tomato and umami mushroom soup bases. We went to their karaoke room afterwards, which essentially is YouTube karaoke on multiple TV screens and in a dimly lit room. We had some technical difficulties that the staff were helpful in fixing, and overall enjoyed the experience!

I love hot pot, I saw an Instagram post from Charmcity table and decided to go. Broadway Hot pot offers authentic Chinese hotpot in the heart of Fells Point. The service was really good, the staff were really nice. They have so many options from meats, seafood and veggies. I ordered the beef and it was so tasty and fresh. They had so many mushrooms to add to the hot pot, I love mushrooms so I was in mushroom heaven. This is a fun interactive way to enjoy food on a date or with a group of friends. The price is very reasonable, about $30 per person for an hour and a half reservation. There is plenty of street parking and I will definitely be coming back for more.

So this place is super cool and a fun way to experience dining in differently! It was my first time coming with a girlfriend of mine and I felt completely lost but she helped steer me in the right direction. The fixings and toppings are unlimited at the bar and you honestly have your pick of everything over there from veggies to seafood to different sauces and toppings like hoisin, chili oil, or sesame seeds. The broth I ordered was so delicious! Had a citrus flavor to it with actual oranges and lemon peels in it. I'm blanking on the name but it was the first option. You pick 2 meats and you also get 2 skewers when doing the buffet option. Cost was about $31.99 ish per person! Noodles are my happy place and I was excited to see so many different options like ramen vs glass noodles! Make sure not to cook the noodles too long or they'll stick to the bottom/burn! My one and only constructive critique was the gentleman only came back to our table once to refill our broths so you can imagine as we continued to eat, it got pretty low! As for a solid spoon if you like to have some broth in the bowl to give it a pho vibe! Very good and would definitely return!

Broadway Hotpot is Baltimore's first hotpot restaurant, located in Fells Point. Street parking in this area can be incredibly difficult so I recommend finding paid parking in the area or street parking several blocks away toward the residential areas closer to Patterson Park or by Pitango and walking over. I first heard about this place through my run club, then through my neighbor's review after I told him about it (he's a hotpot enthusiast who misses his home Chinese cuisine), and lastly through the Baltimore Banner reporting on it. The decor is nice and I saw people who didn't have a reservation get seated in under 20 mins on this weeknight. I made a weekday dinner reservation through Yelp the day before. I did try to scope out the menu in advance as I was taking my out of town friend here to visit. There are no prices listed on the online menu on their website with only additional add on prices for meats included so I was a bit confused before coming about the pricing per person. You order the broth and meats via a scannable QR code available on the table and everything else you pick up yourself buffet style. This is an all you can eat buffet hotpot spot. The hot pots themselves are smaller individual soup bowls and if you wanted a half and half spicy / bone broth you will have to order two different broths. We got the medium spice for our spicy one which felt like a good medium between mild and super spicy and I felt balanced well with the bone broth. They also have a custom sauce making station for you to make your dipping sauce in. As I came for dinner I had the weekday $32.99 adult all you can eat. This comes with a wide range of vegetables, fish, and several free meats (we went with beef and lamb brisket!). I have never tried crab in hotpot before and I figured this is a unique thing but I really enjoyed it! They refilled the buffet several times while I was there and this included items whose photos I didn't capture when I went to take photos such as baby bok choy! Overall I would rate this hotpot experience as a 5/5. I think the price is competitive and for $32.99 as a dinner, I was very well fed and left with only the warmth one can get from a good soup experience. I'd definitely recommend this place especially as it starts to get colder.

The hotpot is just acceptable. The sauces are really salty and the taste is a little bit strange. I think they should update their condiment brand. Also their ice cream is just a disaster. I threw it just after a single spoon. And I really suspect they've watered down their beer because it tasted very weak. However, it is still worth to try if you don't really care about the flavor because you only pay $35 for unlimited meat and other foods.

Perfect spot to dine on a chilly day! Great experience trying several broths, meats, loads of veggies, skewers, and dipping sauces. This was a great way to eat relatively low-carb, get enough protein, and enjoy tons of fresh veggies. Really loved it!

We've come a few times since their soft opening and like it quite a bit! Location is nice and we usually walk everything off along the harbor afterwards. I think that, given the price and fact that this is the only hot pot restaurant in the city so far, it's a pretty solid option. There is a wide variety of ingredients offered and the quality of everything is good. They have ironed out a lot of kinks since the first weeks they launched and I'm very happy about it. Service is always great. Parking might be a struggle as you will need to find street parking somewhere, but it'll be worth it.

Went here over the weekend with friends. The ordering is confusing as you can see everyone's order in your phone. I didn't want to process the order because I didn't order what I saw on the screen. I told the waiter that the ordering system is confusing. Also, everyone has to order the same. If one person wants the hot pot, you all order the hot pot. The waiter didn't tell us that when we were ordering. As soon as we figured out how to order, the vegetables and seafood are buffet style. The food was good, on the salty side and a lot. I was confused since I thought it was a Korean BBQ too. I like hotpot but not a lot of meat. You need to drink a lot of water and they give you a pitcher for the entire table. The ambiance is okay, it looked run down. We sat behind the bar and my seat kept moving like it wasn't properly nailed down. I personally wouldn't come back but my friends enjoyed it. It was a nice experience.

All you can eat!!!! Choose your own broth and meat and add all the veggies and meats as well. Really great atmosphere and welcoming staff. Ordering through the phone made easy and convenient. Go hungry!!!

Amazing experience!…read more New Generation Hot Pot was my first foray into the world of hot pot. Essentially you pick out your base, vegetables and proteins and noodle style. Those items are placed in your own pot which cooks in front of you. New Generation also offers a bar with lots of different self serve sauces and additional flavorings. The waitress assigned to my wife and I was very friendly. She took the time to go through the process with my wife and I. She offered many suggestions, answered our questions and was very attentive. She cheered us on if we were debating something and essentially was like "do it". Since it is all you can eat, she kept coming back, checking in and taking additional orders from us. The prices were not cheap but considering it is all you can eat and they have some ingredients that are a bit atypical, I didn't mind paying the price.

They have suggestions, but it is hard to figure out how to make them. The hot bar was sitting out for awhile (fries, sweet and sour chicken, fried rice) and wasn't too hot.

They have a great 12-4pm lunch special on weekdays, two-hours of grill-it-yourself All-You-Can-Eat Korean BBQ or Hot Pot (pho-like soup) for $21, (less for kids). Arriving about 12:15pm, we were seated by the alert host with no wait. I think they could fit around 40 in booths for 4 to 6. There's a whole other area further in for maybe 50 more, with some tables for large groups. The room was lively with conversation and music. We were immediately greeted by our attentive friendly fun server, Mahlah, who explained it all to us: menu choices and pricing, the wireless ordering-tablet, techniques for grilling, and the buffet appetizers and desserts. She lit the grill that is built into our table, and took our first order so we could start in as soon as we got back from the buffet. At the buffet we filled a dish with nicely-fiery flavorful kimchee and a similar spicy mix with tofu. We got lettuce, carrot shreds, and fresh tomato chunks. Warm sesame-covered mochi-rice balls, lightly sweet and fresh with a chewy inside. Fresh hot finger-thin 2-inch spring-rolls, crispy and flakey with a little bit of veggies inside. I got small hot flakey crispy rangoon triangles filled with cream cheese with just a little crab-flavor. I ate a couple to manage that spicy kimchee and tofu :-). They had fries and breaded shrimp and chicken wings, too. We filled smaller bowls with several of their dozen or more flavorful sauces, from a KPOT signature red sweet bbq sauce, to a pretty-spicy red sauce, to a bowl of soy-sauce to which we added chives and onions and garlic and jalapeños and such. All very tasty and fresh. The lunch-menu Korean BBQ offered a wide selection of meats and seafood and veg. Mahlah was always nearby, watchful for any requests, and brought our first course in mere minutes. The "spicy" bulgogi beef was cut in medium-thick slices, maybe 1/8-in thick, and it cooked quickly while staying very juicy and very tender. The prime brisket was cut in thicker slabs, maybe 1/4-in, and it was marbled enough for good juicy flavor and tender texture even on this hot grill. We used the scissors to size it down for eating. The beef-belly was very thinly sliced, paper-thin, and it cooked up in a flash, getting a a slight crust like a well-done Italian porchetta. That took some practice to cook without almost evaporating it! The trick? The table-grill is hottest in the middle, so cook delicate foods around the edge of the grill. We had tender chunks and strips of juicy marinated garlic-chicken breast, and tender juicy good-sized garlic-shrimp, which were both very easy to grill. We tried some thick slices and long tangles of squid, and they were tasty but we didn't really figure out how to keep them tender, so we cut them up into smaller pieces with the scissors and marinated them in soy sauce which really enhanced the slight char. We grilled sliced white onion, thin zucchini circles, chunks of fresh green peppers, thin tasty white oyster mushroom discs, and thicker chunks of peppers and portobello mushrooms. On we go! We ordered twice more. An order of the thicker cuts of pork-belly, which came out like fancy not-salty bacon. Bright-red "spicy" (not very spicy) sweet juicy white-fish fillets, which cooked fast! Sweet tender "Hawaiian" bulgogi, which we spiced up with sauce from the buffet. More of those tasty garlic-shrimp. Probably a few more items that I'm not remembering right now. For dessert we got some little chocolate ice cream and fruit-flavor sherbet cups from the freezer by the buffet, and chose tiny wooden spoons just for fun, instead of the available silverware. We got fresh fruit and a slice of light cake with a light creamy layer on top. Then Mahlah overheard one of us say "birthday"! She laughingly scolded us for not telling her sooner, quickly came back with a large wonderful slice of delicious super-light cheesecake with a candle, and happily sang Happy Birthday with us! It felt like another friend had joined us! Luckily, one who remembered the cake :-) We ate for nearly two hours, until we couldnt eat any more! It was so much fun, and we chattered happily the whole time as we were adding to the grill or serving or sneaking tastes along the way :-). We thoroughly enjoyed our tasty flavorful generous meal. KPOT is a great fun place for fresh grill-it-yourself foods. There's five more KPOTs within 45min and several more within an hour. I had no idea! But this is the only location with Mahlah, our lovely friendly skillful server.
