I follow Regina M's definition of a good diner (from Saugerties Village Diner review): "Chrome and linoleum on the walls. Crushed stone "terrazzo" floor. Counter with stools and a case of baked goods. A 400 item menu large laminated menu Breakfast all day Clattering and talking and wait staff who are efficient and friendly Lastly, really good 'simple' food" And Broadway Diner checks all the boxes. The challah french toast was well worth it, though it was shaped more like a loaf of bread than a challah. A small criticism: Ask for the home fries crispy--mine were a bit limp. We both left full for $30.

Excellent Greek food and breakfast. Attentive, friendly owners and staff. I prefer to eat at local restaurants and not chains.

Best diner in town by far. Good food, great prices. Omelettes are tasty and best home fries I've ever had. Highly recommended.

The food was also excellent. The place offers a lot of seating. I had the Italian Steak Melt. Fantastic. They also had Guinness on draft. My wife had Harvest Salad with grilled Chicken. She said it was very good. My daughter had the Fish & Chips. We all shared an Apple Crisp for dessert. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely return. Go try it out. You won't be disappointed.

We used the "wait time" notice on their website, and knew we'd be seated quickly. We were. Hostess, server, and even the manager were all cordial and helpful. Our meals, picked from the extensive menu, were served promptly, hot, and delicious. Our server made sure we had no wishes unfulfilled. The noise level was moderate and pleasant, which can be hard to find sometimes. The prices are very reasonable, and you'll definitely find the right food and beverage for your tastes. The vibe of this place is exactly what's needed in America. I wish there were more places like the Union Hotel. It looks so fun and funky, everything is clean and I'm being serious, it's clean! Fried cheese curds and fried pickles...if that's all we ordered we were already hooked! Then our wings came!!! Pry the sauces out of my hands, I had it on my face, up my arms, the wings were exactly what you beg for anywhere else!! The sweetest and most beautiful bartender was an absolute angel getting our drinks and food! Extremely conscientious and attentive during busy moments! We cannot wait to go back...it was a fantastic reminder of what we used to have local to us! 10/10 all the way around!

We tried the Fried Pierogies which were covered with a Buffalo sour cream sauce, the Texas Roadhouse Burger and the Chicken Philly Cheesesteak. I also substituted the French fries for sweet potato waffle fries which were excellent and fried to perfection. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone and we will definitely be back!
