We have been there a few times. The food and service are good. The prices are reasonable.

I went here for a work lunch. I had a shaved steak sandwich, which was delicious. The service was pretty good. The waitress was attentive and quick. She wasn't overly friendly but she was good at her job. The atmosphere here is very good. Plenty of seats available. Nice place and I would eat here again for sure. read more

I was in Endwell for minor surgery hoping to be done around noon so that we could meet up with our grandson. He is a student at SUNY Binghamton. Fortunately the timing worked out great. The menu is fairly typical diner fare with all day breakfast available. That sounded really good to both my wife and myself. Our grandson was more interested in a sandwich with fries for lunch. I had the meat omelet, which was very good. My wife the mushroom omelet. The diner got busier and busier as the noon time lunch crowd came in. Service was very good. The booths were spacious and the place was clean. Always a good sign. Glad we found this place. We'll go again if in the area. read more

Would give 2.5- as 3/4 of us were disappointed- the biscuits and gravy were undercooked and no sausage, the pancakes would have been good but included onions from the grill, toast was barely warm and dry, grape jelly only. Counter with stools and a case of baked goods. A 400 item menu large laminated menu Breakfast all day Clattering and talking and wait staff who are efficient and friendly Lastly, really good 'simple' food" And Broadway Diner checks all the boxes. The challah french toast was well worth it, though it was shaped more like a loaf of bread than a challah. A small criticism: Ask for the home fries crispy--mine were a bit limp. I have reviewed this diner before and I stand with past reviews. We always stop there on our way to Buffalo and our way back to Long Island. Service is efficient, food is good and prices are very good. I recommend this diner in you are in the area. Cole slaw is delicious. read more

BLT needed more mayo. Peanut butter pie was tepid with little peanut butter taste. Chocolate cake was dry Apple pie was tepid, needs an egg wash on the crust to give it a golden brown. Filling had no flavor either. Needs normal pie seasonings. read more

Stopped by for breakfast on our way out of town after attending the Luma festival in Binghamton the night before. Not what we expected, and not in a positive way either. Arrived 1 hour before closing at 7 pm. Waitress was unengaging and monotone. Italian Wedding Soup had a chip of cracker packaging in it and was very greasy - returned that and when returned with a fresh one no dialogue from waitress. 1/2 chicken platter was cold and difficult to cut, mixed vegetables couldn't melt the warm whipped butter, mashed potatoes were definitely the boxed variety. Moussaka was decent but again, the boxed potatoes top layer was bland, and the eggplant lower later was razor thin. Both of our platters were just above room temperature. Had to flag down another waitress (thank you) to bring us a few to-go boxes. Only then did our waitress engage us...hmm. Gentleman at checkout was very interested - no "how was your dinner", thank you, nothing. Will certainly not return, and will share our thoughts with family members. read more

The food is excellent. If you love a classic brunch, this takes the cake with more and more options beyond your expectations. Muffins, bagel sandwiches, etc. The service is always very good. I was happy when I saw there was a Greek diner in town. I was so happy, I perused the menu online and decided what I wanted to order for lunch, one of the more traditional dishes. Unfortunately, this entire section of traditional dishes was missing from the menu when I actually went to the restaurant! I ended up getting a gyro. Since it's advertising itself as a Greek diner, I assumed they'd have a spit roasting the gyro meat. What I received was sooo disappointing. The meat looked like it had been sliced off a geometric rectangle, kind of the shape of spam, but with the texture of a really hard deli meat. Service was super fast, and I assume this is because they're not making the food fresh. The servers were really nice to all the regulars, of which I was not one. Not recommended. read more

Great diner. Large menu with lots of options. Quick, efficient, friendly service. Food is always served hot. My go to is the hot open turkey sandwich with mashed potato. It's delicious and is real turkey, no deli meat here. The gravy is also home made. I've tried many menu selections and have never been disappointed. My only criticism would be is sometimes the food is inconsistent. You order a special one week and it's prepared one way, the next week the same special is prepared a different way. Both specials are good just different. I read the previous about the Broadway not being kid friendly, this is totally untrue! I don't have kids but I've been her and witnessed countless kids dine with their parents. Plenty of "behavior" goes on and nobody gives it s second thought.. read more

Ended up swearing off this place a few years back. The young hostess had asked me and my partner to wait by the front before seating us. Place wasn't busy but maybe they were understaffed we figured. We waited for a good long while, people came in only to be seated immediately possibly reservations we thought. Same hostess asked us, after having us wait for close to 20 minutes, if we were there to eat. We were seated, no menus or anything. And kinda just left after 20 minutes of waiting for any sort of service. Ended up with Covid a week later, and that was really the only place we'd gone out to leading up to it. read more

We visited the Broadway diner because family had said it was really good. We live an hour away and we were in town for the evening, so we stopped. The girl who sat us seemed to have an attitude, so we were off to a bad start. It was an hour from closing, so it was not busy. It was oddly quiet, but at the same time you could hear others talking at their tables. You felt like you had to whisper to each other, otherwise your voice would travel. There was no back ground music or anything, which would have been nice. Our waitress could have been Ben Stein's daughter. She wasn't rude like the hostess, she just wasn't anything. The food was ok. Nothing to write home about. The whole experience was forgettable. That's exactly what that diner will be for us. read more

Took the whole family for a birthday brunch, celebrating my son's 18th. He is a new student at SUNY Binghamton to it was a bit of a gamble deciding on a place. In hindsight... not even close to a gamble! Service to food. Everything was top notch. My mother is particular about her eggs (over verrrry medium) and she was impressed! Homefries were flavorful and had lots of crispy bits. Bacon was plentiful. Waffle was golden and crisp. Gyro meat as a part of breakfast is genius. Sausage patty was not anything like what you'd find in the grocer's freezer section. Eggs were poached perfectly. And the pancakes were golden, delicious, and not absurdly big. It was a homerun. This was the worst experience my husband and I ever had. Will never return. Food was terrible burntE ordered the fish sandwich and macaroni and cheese the fish was WY over cooked and the macaroni and cheese wasn't anything to brag about. My husband didn't even eat any of his and they didn't even offer another alternative I tried to eat a little bit but left most on my plate. The server never tried to make anything right. I've even had the owner get up from his own lunch to seat us when the hostess was busy! Classic diner ambience. Very cozy little place. I say "little" but they have quite a bit of space! Enjoyed a dinner party on a Saturday evening. Older crowd here enjoys an earlier dinner, so they hit it and quit it early, so expect quietude, in this case, after 7. Expect big portions like the Club Sandwich which one guest had to take half home. I had the best Fried Chicken in years. The other guest enjoyed seared Sea Scallops with salad. I had the worst dining experience here than ever. Took my granddaughter to lunch. I received my order after waiting 20 minutes. My granddaughter didn't get hers right after. Then, when it came out, it was burnt. I was told it was a new breading. I doubt it came in dark brown! My food was cold, as hers didn't come out until 15 minutesafter mine. When I talked to the manager, I was told I needed to understand as due to the pandemic, etc. What?? So, this accounts for lost service and burnt food? Never will step in there again. Then I met a young lady who had worked there, and she told me the managers/ owners were rude to their employees.
