Great place for breakfast! Very typical, quaint diner vibe. Menu prices are reasonable and included all the usual items. They had some nice specials (stuffed French toast, sausage gravy over biscuits, loaded tot bowl, creamed chipped beef over toast) and coffee is included with the special. Mostly booths with tables down the middle. Food came out very quickly and was piping hot. All was very tasty. Service was friendly and hospitable. Cute little place. I saw good reviews. It was very busy when I went in. The food, I guess, wasn't for me. The pancakes were an odd consistency. From crumbly in places to almost raw in the center. The eggs were rubbery. Breakfast meats were good, I got the sausage links & bacon. Waitresses were nice enough but never checked back or I would have politely told them about the food. I don't think I will be back but others really seem to enjoy it. They do have a community food pantry outside which is quite awesome! read more

I love this place! It's small but I've never waited more than a few minutes for a place to sit. The wait staff is friendly and never forget your order or if you ask for something. The food is delicious. I really enjoyed the chicken quesadilla and the omelette I got a previous time. The omelette comes with the option of homemade bread which is delicious. The one meal I wasn't fond of was the montecristo. I felt that the French toast was too eggy. Could have also used a side of syrup. Will definitely be returning soon! read more

We, the bride and I, hit this place after an overnight stay in Sayre Pa.. I used Yelp and this was number one for good reason. From the moment we walked in, the wait staff was very inviting and friendly. We were seated immediately and given coffee and water. I ordered an egg platter with, sausage and home fries, as well as their homemade fresh white bread. The bride ordered a breakfast sandwich on a bagel with a side of the home fries. The pricing was very good, being at $18, for the two of us. Everything was delicious and on point! Service was great! This place has a warm neighborhood/family feel to it. I happened upon this restaurant by chance. I have been providing transportation for a Vietnam veteran for some time now. This morning he needed to be at the local Veterans clinic for blood work. He wanted breakfast at a New York diner. I looked on Google maps and found Becky's. Inquiries into this diner said it was a great place to eat and very popular. As you can see from the attached photos, this place stands out. The inside is as neat and bright as the outside and the US and veterans motif continues on. Upon arrival I met 4 other Vietnam veterans that have breakfast there every Tuesday. The selections for breakfast were over the top and the prices are absolutely reasonable. Great diner with a huge selection of omelets. My husband got an omelette with sausage, mushrooms and possibly some other filling. He had it John Wayne style, which means chili and cheese on top. It was quite large and excellent. I ordered their blueberry pancakes with a slice of ham. Also, very large and tasty. They make their own iced tea--no soda fountain tea here!! It was very dark and rich. My husband said that they also have very good coffee. One thing I noted was how quickly the food came after our order. We were not unique. I noticed many were also served quickly. Service is great. I don't usually like syrup on pancakes and when I asked, they gave me something else other than syrup. We talked with some of our friends who come to Becky's almost daily and they said that the diner starts their order as soon as they sit down (because it doesn't change very often), and it comes out within a few minutes of sitting down. There are lots of booths along the walls and tables in the center. Vinyl tablecloths are used. Very practical. They have indoor and outdoor seating, which is really nice in the summer and fall. They are open for breakfast and lunch. The owner keeps a food pantry outside the door. I think this is one of the best breakfast places around. 5 stars as it is everything you'd expect in a breakfast/lunch diner plus great service and friendly atmosphere. read more

Great place to come for all your favor diner breakfast foods. My son got the Truckers Special- so much meat! I go the pancakes with blueberries- and it was a huge plateful filled with blueberries. The homefries are the mushy kind with crusty bits - you can tell they came from real potatoes- the kind I like. My son and husband hate that kind, so fortunately they also have hash brown patties. The hash looks canned, but fried to a nice crisp. Our friend got the garbage plate and was a bit put off by the sweetness of the meat gravy they pour on top- the waitress confirmed that it is indeed a surprisingly sweet gravy. The place was packed for Sunday lunch, and our waitress was friendly and efficient. I think a vegetarian could have a fine breakfast, but I'm not sure there is anything for vegans. read more
