Served in the perfect glass, the Collins was definitely a balance of flavors. Since the vodka rigatoni is what peaked my curiosity, that is what I ordered. It was phenomenal. I decided to go with the "old-school" version at the encouragement of my server, which included Cayenne pepper. It came out perfectly spiced and piping hot. I also decided to start with a Caesar salad. The lettuce was super cold and crisp, and the dressing was served on the side so I could moderate it for myself. For my main, I got the spring roll bowl and decided to add tofu. It had noodles, peanuts, a sweet thai chili sauce, and lots of veggies. It was MASSIVE. Prices are a little high but the portions definitely made it worth it. I could have taken half home as leftovers if I'd wanted. The restaurant also has a coffee bar which we decided last minute to partake in instead of venturing out into the rain to find a different cafe. This was such a convenient option because we didn't have to fight to find parking or brave the weather to go to a second location. I did a pistachio latte. Someone else at my table got a Mexican hot chocolate. I treated myself to the homemade whipped cream. The coffee hit the spot. Throughout the whole experience the staff was wonderful. I mean even if you wanted to butter than bagel you really can't because the butter is solid and impossible to spread. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS PANERA! BTW, the staff here is FANTASTIC and cheerful and wonderfully helpful. This isn't a knock against them just the way Panera corporate trains everyone. If I have one comment for staff please put the coffee in the dispensers in the same order every day all day. It is seemingly random how this is done and if you come often you get get used to certain things in certain places and then someone rips the rug out from under you and puts the hot water where the coffee belongs. Salad greens, grains and a lovely blob of hummus also a very nice light dressing. The caprese sandwich was really tasty. Everything on it melded into a party in each bite. I'd definitely order both of these again. Brother completely enjoyed his salad as well. I must digress, we ordered, got the electronic alert device and waited not more than 5-10 minutes for our food to be ready. Pretty darn quick and it was all correct. The menu was fairly baseline with a few signature specialty dishes but all consisting of the same ingredients. I order a Hot tea, the Sashimi lunch special which came with a Miso Soup & side of Rice as well as the Treasure Island appetizer to sample some of their more unique dishes. The Miso Soup was both warm and flavorful. The Treasure Island app was an interesting blend of sweet savory and fat flavors with fresh Mango, Avocado, Tobiko, Ponzu and diced fish's but it was unfortunately all just overtaken by the heavy Mayo and tempura flakes. The Sashimi lunch was presented fairly but the quality of the fish was sub par to say. All of the previous frozen variety and using Izumidai "tilapia" in place of Red Snapper. Overall it certainly was not the greatest Sushi dining experience for me personally and I would pass on the next opportunity to visit. That being said there seems to be very limited Sushi dining opinion this area and it was fairly reasonably priced 2 course lunch. 3.9/10 Very friendly staff, lower quality ingredients.
