It has this tropical and airy vibe with a bunch of plants everywhere. It's partially open air with indoor seating too. I sat at the bar and they had all the windows open and the whole atmosphere was just perfect. It's a Vietnamese fusion spot and apparently a James Beard Award winner which I can definitely understand after eating here. To start the bartender recommended the shrimp toast so I ordered that along with the sweet corn wontons. The shrimp toast was SO interesting!!! It was like a shrimp mousse on toast. I honestly loved it but fair warning, it was reaaaally spicy with the fresh jalapeños on top. Still so good though I pushed through. The sweet corn wontons were AMAZING. They came in this super flavorful broth that I drank by itself after. For dessert, I tried their version of mango sticky rice, which was probably one of the most interesting things I had. They don't actually use rice and instead use this jell-o??? but somehow you still get all the flavors of mango sticky rice. So different and SO delicious. My fav of the night! For drinks I tried with the Life Aquatic which was a mezcal cocktail with cucumber and it was smoky, refreshing and overall just amazing. Then I asked for a lychee martini which wasn't even on the menu but they attempted to make one for me anyway. 10/10 execution because it was also amazing! I was genuinely impressed by everything...the food, drinks, atmosphere and the service. They even gave me a little taste of their slushies to try at the end which were super tasty too. Who knows when I'll be back in Minneapolis but I genuinely would come back just to have another meal here. That's how good it was!

I was born and raised on Oahu, just moved to MN a handful of years ago and I'm always looking for food that reminds me of home. And this is one of them! Even the prices remind me of home?? I'm so impressed with the delicious food at such an amazing price point - you hardly see that in MN. Ramen is always soooo over priced, but not at Staff Meeting! We had the tonkotsu ramen, mom's fried rice, and the wings. All absolutely delicious and I'd get them all again. I wish they had the ribs, I was hoping to try it! I'll definitely return and highly encourage everyone to visit!!!!

It's a really cool place that has plenty of varied seating locations. Staff Meeting itself is a fairly compact space peppered with pop culture decorations. It's also unbearably loud: the booming music, kitchen operations, and boisterous staff created a headache-inducing cacophony in such a small space. Luckily, we were able to find much quieter seating elsewhere in the building. The food is great, as well as reasonably priced. The ramen is delicious and super filling. We also enjoyed the wings, which were fried to perfection and well-seasoned.

They didnt pick up the phone so…read morewe weren't able to order ahead of time, but the food from their cafe/take out area came out quite quickly. The crab rangoo pastry was a slight disappointment as it lost some of that sinful simplicity of a typical deep fried crab rangoo. The passion fruit mango stuffed cube was the most popular among the group and we wished we had gotten two of them. The green salad was simple, but the dressing was tasty and the shrimp were plump and well cooked. We got the mild papaya salad which still has a bit of a kick if you're sensitive, but it was a generous portion and it was an enjoyable crunchy acidic and fresh dish. The pan fried noodles worked very well as a side dish, but would have been a less exciting main compared with the other dishes. The sweet and sour pork with the fatty and soft chunks of pork belly were delicious with the sticky rice. The greens weren't my favorite, but I generally don't enjoy collard greens of any variety. While you don't get the beautiful plating that Diane's place does when you get the dishes to-go, it's worth doing if you don't have time for a full meal.

We got 8 potstickers (they were giving 4 to each person for free to celebrate). Mouthwatering. The potstickers are the best ones I've ever had. We usually go for the chicken curry. However, this time we got the butternut squash/ shrimp mix, and their new chicken teriyaki. All of them were so flavorful, I'm pretty sure they are fresh. You can never go wrong with anything here. I would recommend everything! The only note I would make is that this is a smaller restaurant. There isn't a lot of space for the demand. If you go, I would recommend making a reservation. If you don't, you will most than likely have to wait for a table to open up. The service is always great. This time our food took a very long time, especially our main dishes. However, we don't mind waiting at all. Just a heads up that it might take a little longer than expected! Please be patient and give this place all the love it deserves.

My spouse and I first came here in January after seeing the establishment's struggles when…read moreOperation Metro Surge was happening and we intended to patronize this business to support their endeavors, and since they had the seasonal Peking Duck dumplings available, we had to give it a try and we totally enjoyed it. All the dumplings had nice side dishes with them, including rainbow slaw, pickles, and whichever sauce we chose, and my personal favorite was the chili oil or the garlic chili aioli, which was surprising because I normally ate dumplings with vinegar back home in China. The golden cloud bites were very authentically made as they reminded me exactly of how "golden buns" (金馒头) were made back home, and the condensed milk was exactly right in terms of what to dip them in. Conversely, I didn't enjoy the bowls as much. The veggie bowl had diverse ingredients but I think having more eggplant would help more because the caramelization can enhance the overall flavor. As for the sambal chicken rice bowl, I personally would prefer sambal rather than the sambal ranch that was included because the two ingredients had different flavors, and sambal itself, rather than sambal ranch, would have given the bowl more vibrantly pungent spice and umami flavors. Since this place has multiple locations, I would recommend one to ensure that their desired dishes are served at the particular locations they are trying to visit. I am just happy about the fact that there is a place like this establishment that serves tasty dumplings, and I would love to return and try some of their sandwiches and burritos.

Server took our drinks order pretty quickly and we were also able to order our food quickly as well. The restaurant is spacious and you don't feel like you are packed in there with other guests. Sometimes with grilling restaurants, the table can get small. Felt like there was good enough room and didn't feel like I'd knock over my wine or food. We got the silver set and an order of scallops and we had leftovers! Plenty of food for two people. The scallops were huge and meats were quality. Pretty clean, not a lot of marinade so if you like more salty/ flavor, dip in a lot of sauce. It's a good option if you like to cook your own food due to quality of meats provided. Would recommend ordering à la carte once you know what you like. The combo set is a good sampler to get a variety to taste

It was fantastic, the amount of food that you get in the all you can eat menu is pretty significant. For $42.99 we all got the all you can eat dinner which included unlimited apps like seaweed salad, chicken wings, sweet potato fries, edamame. Sides like fried rice or fried udon noodles. Mains like ribeye steak, bone in short ribs, pork belly, chicken breast, garlic shrimp, and various fish. These are only what we tried, there's so much on the menu I'm certain anyone could find something they like. They also let you swap the grill pad anytime you want. Fish came in these circular aluminum foil tins and we ordered salmon and yellow tail. Neither of the fish dishes were very good, fishy and texture slightly off putting. I wish there were a way to grill directly on the pan for the sear marks and char but I understand why they have it the way they do. I would probably pass on the fish. I was also obsessed with the appetizer from the main menu called Salty Cucumber. It had chili flakes, salt, and other seasonings on top of cucumber it was so fresh and savory. We also ordered the Cheese Wontons off the main menu, these were lighter than traditional cream cheese wontons but in a good way, didn't feel overly greasy. These particular apps were about $6.95 each. Overall a fun experience. You cook everything for the most part and you should definitely have a friend or experienced bbq master with you to make sure everything is cooked properly. They do have a side guide for how long to cook each side for beginners which is a nice touch! 10/10 would recommend, I've never had Japanese BBQ like this, the most similar experience I've had would be Korean BBQ. This truly was a fun interactive dinner.

Service was fast and the inside was pleasant enough (it must have once been a Caribou, it reminded me of one). The food was definitely really good. The stars of the show were the jeows, some of the best we have had. The curry was flavorful and tasty, as was the Moo Krob. The cocktails were good; I would not come here expecting the same quality as a cocktail bar, but for a mom and pop thai restaurant, they were definitely above average. All in all I would definitely reccomed this place, especially before a show at the new amphitheater.
