This was my first time trying Sichuan and I wasn't disappointed. The location of this restaurant is convenient with ample parking. Once entered, we were greeted by staff. The waitress was quick to seat and serve us. She was very polite. I ordered the Tofu Pho. It came with the typical sides of bean sprouts, jalapeños, and basil - all of which were fresh. The soup was also impressive just even at a glance. It was full of noodles, tofu, onions and green onions. Truly a filling dish, not just broth! The flavor was good and it warmed me up on this cool day. I also tried some of the Kung Pao Chicken and it was also great. Super flavorful, generous portion, high quality ingredients - delicious! The prices were very reasonable and each of us went home with left overs. I am surprised it took us so long to try out this spot. It may have been our first time, but it won't be our last! Excited to try more of the menu.

Best Chinese food I've ever had! This was my first time trying Princess chicken and it was incredible! Like General Tso's but more tender and flavorful. Paired with the Vietnamese egg rolls and this is right up there with my favorite Chinese takeout I've tried in the Twin Cities. Definitely worth it to check this place out, I'll be back!!!

Such a great place. Great flavors, great dishes, and great prices. It is in a strip mall with a typical decor. It is a good to spot for Chinese and Vietnamese food! The waiter was friendly and helpful he made numerous recommendations and adapted a dish to our tastes.

Nice neighborhood Chinese takeout. Considerable better than average. I was impressed by the Vietnamese eggrolls.

Cream cheese puffs were really good but chicken tasted weird kind of old. Fried rice was okay, not very seasoned.

Their food is very good! The whole family enjoys it. We've tried a lot of different items on the menu and they have all been delicious.

Well thinking I would go to Pho Hua instead, I pulled intonthe Shuang Hur Grocer's parking lot thinking I'd grab a few things before heading north on Eat Street. Then I saw signs on the Shuang Hur building for a (new to me) Vietnamese joint in the same building. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! My Huong is an 8-top hole in the wall across the parking lot from the rear of El Nuevo Mariachi Restaurant. The place is homely, small, but brightly lit and plenty of day light through the picture windows overlooking Eat Street. It's a big contrast to Pho 79 type places that are dim and short on ambience. The clientele shows. Instead of just a bunch of Asians throwing down Pho, it's a mix like you'd see at Quang or Eat Street Crossing. I was seated right away, was greeted by a cheery Vietnamese lady, and ordered Hu Tieu Bo Khu (Beef Stew Noodle Soup.) It was a dish I haven't seen before even though I have been to so many Vietnamese places (see my other reviews and lists.) The dish came very quickly, and I was shocked that they didn't bring it with a veggie plate. Oh well. Well the best way I could describe Hu Tieu Bo Khu, its basically a pot roast over noodles. So the beefy broth like a less spicey version of Bun Bo Hue, with flavors of lemongrass and star anise, nicely garnished already with what would have been on a veggie plate. The broth was delicious, slightly sweet with the carrots, and the beef was fall apart amazingly stewed with deep flavor. There were other menu items like Curry Chicken pho and a Stewed chicken rice dish I'd have to return and try!

We used to go when they were across the street in the small space. To me this is the OG Vietnamese place to recommend when people ask where to get great Vietnamese food. Food is always good and service is great. It has been a long time since I've been here and I'm glad to see they still have a lot of options available, even weekend specials. I had to taste the banh cuon since that is a weekend specials and not easily found in restaurants. It did not disappoint. The nuoc mam was perfect. Filling was good but I wish there were more fresh herbs for garnish. Bun Bo hue was filled with meat and protein!! I can't believe how much was in there. I normally don't like a ton of meat but this was so tender I ate it all. Pho was good. Broth had a strong star anise flavor but I like that. The mi hoanh ton soup was good but not the best. The wontons were huge! I appreciate the amount of protein in it. Cream cheese wontons flavor was good, wish there was more than 4 pieces per order though. Nem nuong serving size was pretty small. Wish we would've ordered the nem nuong spring rolls instead. Bubble tea tasted like strawberry milk, very sweet. Not my favorite but my daughter gave it 10/10. Salmon rice was good, we were able to add eggs for $4. The chili oil is very hot so be careful how much you add. 4% discount if you pay in cash. Gratuity added for parties of 5 or more. Easy to grab to go at the front if you are in a rush. We grabbed more to go after we ate too. The tri color dessert was ok, not my favorite but I liked the sweetness of the coconut milk in there. We grabbed a banh mi that was ready to go and that was good! Bread was crispy, but maybe too much bread ratio to filling. Banh bao was massive too, expensive for $8.

Got a table right away on a Sunday for dinner…read more The cream cheese wontons came out quick and were hot, just lacked a little crisp. Lots of cream cheese ratio. Buon Bo Hue was spicy, had a good amount of meat. Pho broth was flavorful and passed for good pho. I hated the bowl, it is so narrow and you can barely fit any additional toppings. Nem Nuong was underwhelming, a lot smaller than expected. Banh Cuon is a weekend special. They were pretty thick and didn't absorb much of the sauce but had a good balance of filling and toppings. There was an automatic tip for a party of 5 and you save 4% if you pay in cash

No-frills, wood panels for days, and the "casual" service your get at the best asian restaurants. My wife got the pho she'd been craving and it was decent. There aren't any "great" pho places in MN so can't be too picky. The hot and sour soup was huge. The picture doesn't do it justice,. That's a serving spoon in the picture! It didn't have much tamarind, was a bit sweet, and an interesting choice of okra; some of which were a bit slimy (as okra can get). The tofu was perfectly fried and had a nice bouncy texture. I much prefer Thanh Luong's version but for the price it's definitely worth it.
