Great beer. Great food. Great people. Great location. I usually come here once or twice a week. There usually is a long list of year-round brews, so I appreciate Bridger's reliability. The McTavish is a nice light bodied Scotch Ale with a strong kick. The Ghost Town is one of the best coffee stouts I have ever had, the coffee flavor does not disappoint. The Vigilante IPA is smooth and consistent, which makes it a very likable beer. One of my favorite things about Bridger Brewing is that it has a really strong local vibe and does several things for the community. The staff is awesome, especially Ross and Manley. Staff are knowledgeable about the craft and genuinely care about the service and people. The crowd is really mixed with locals, college students, business professionals, and visitors. It's a great place to do work. The selection of the local bands are awesome and so are the summer concerts. It's obvious why a lot of people come here on just about any day. The only bad thing is they don't have their beer in stores yet. One day, soon, I hope. read more

So I'm not entirely sure if I'd call myself a pizza connoisseur, but I seem to think that I know a good pizza (in addition to great beer and service) when I come across it. I'm used to making homemade pizza which are always great (b/c I make them), but Bridger Brewery really raised the bar when it comes to yummy pizza pies. :) Hubby and I met some friends at Bridger Brewery last week for some grub and beverages. I thoroughly enjoyed the rye IPA that was on tap, and the Caesar salad (lightly tossed) and pizza we ordered were pretty spectacular. The homemade Caesar dressing was garlicky and the salad was nicely prepared. Our server, Kelly, said they use anchovies, and I personally think that makes all the difference in the world when it comes to Caesar dressing. As far as the pizza went, we did 1/2sies and ordered one half lamb pesto and the other wild mushroom w/ andouille sausage. My ONLY complaint (and it's rare when I have only 1 complaint) is that there could and should have been more meat overall...it was a little skimpy. Therefore, I would order extra meat next time...BUT, the taste was amazing to say the least. Also, the crust was done extremely well...I usually give my crust to my man...not this time! We love this place for pizza and beer. From no/ny area so the pizza here is comfort food for us and the beer being gluten removed is perfect for my celiac wife. She hasn't had any issues with gluten eating pizza or beer here. read more

We came to Bridger Brewing because we read that its pizza was named best Pizza in Montana by Zagat. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The crust wasn't anything special, and the pizza was laden with toppings that had too much moisture which caused the crust to be soggy/raw. The beer was pretty good and we liked that they used MT grown ingredients. That said, the Citrasaurus and the Scotch Ale both could have used a bit more body. Service was slow, but it was also Father's Day. read more

This is located almost on the Montana State campus. If you like Pizza, theirs is excellent. The salads are huge. The vinaigrette dressing on the House Salad is amazing. We had a Bison Pepperoni pizza. It's delicious and the pizza crust is perfect. The only reason I didn't rate this place five stars is that we received only one menu, and our table location placed us in a wind tunnel between open doors when a truck was unloading into the kitchen. (Montana is sometimes mighty cold in the spring.) read more

So... It had been a while and I've recently been back here a couple of times. I have to say that their beer is great. They had a coffee stout which was amazing and their Scotch ale is really good too. I'm not an IPA fan but my man really likes a lot of what they have to offer with hops. The pizza still isn't amazing, but based on the fact we're in Montana, and not New York, it's pretty good! They do 1/2 & 1/2 toppings too which is helpful when you want to try more than one, and they have been accommodating with substitution requests. I'll be back! read more

Went here on a visit to Bozeman, and was thrilled! We got a slice of pizza, shared a salad, and a pint of beer, everything totaled up to $7- not.bad. The pizza was really filling, and the service was very fast and thorough, even when it started to get busier. I love that you can try smaller beers (4 oz or 8 oz) to get a taste before buying a bigger size. I ended up taking a growler of the scotch ale home with me- gulped it all in one night! Wouldn't be opposed to them selling that in Utah... ;) read more

Time and time again I am impressed with Bridger's food, beer, and service. We took our three year old to lunch, and the waitress was not only friendly, she was proactive in making sure all of us were happy. Our little one had crayons, a coloring menu, and animal crackers; my wife and I enjoyed the monstrous slices and delicious pints! Our waitress even sliced the slice so that our girl would enjoy the pizza that much more... Simply brilliant. Their Rye Smile IPA was on tap, and that was very tasty. We also had the Antilogy Black IPA - also very good. All in all, if you are looking for a kid-friendly restaurant with great everything, I highly recommend Bridger Brewing! read more

This is my favorite restaurant in town, and I've been to pretty much every single one. Everything I've ever ordered here is amazing. I really love the "Elote" pizza with corn and this amazing sauce. They have really delicious huge salads dressed with rice vinegar. A small salad is the size of a large salad at most other restaurants. The actual dining space is really inviting as well...it has huge vaulted ceilings and they just opened a patio up top. The staff is legit! Highly recommend! read more

I got the chicken sausage supreme and an ice tea (don't like beer, no bar). I enjoyed the pizza, and the crust leftovers are yummy. Good, not top 10. The wife (celiac) got the bison pepperoni supreme Gluten Free and the Ghost Town coffee beer. Loved the coffee beer and the fact that all the beers are gluten free. Didn't love her pizza (flavor and burnt crust); said she wouldn't order it again. We split a $5 root beer float and it was awful. One small scoop of ice cream in a big handled mug; the mug needs at least one more big scoop. Our server, Stephanie, was very good and very nice. Average experience, cool atmosphere. read more

This place is super fun. If you're coming for the beers, then this place is fantastic. Though they limit your intake and cannot serve after 8 (I think)- which is a pain, it's not their fault. Fun atmosphere, interesting bar to sit at. Their pizza crust is not very chewy, but the toppings were great. I love the Chop Salad, with bacon and chicken. Salad dressing is fantastic and consistent. The size the chop salad is cut into is not consistent. But that's okay -- I would probably order it even if the kitchen serves the lettuce leaves whole. Came by after visiting the Museum of the Rockies. Walked in a was greeted immediately. We were directed to a table near the bar area. Our server was attentive, attractive and sweet. Reviewed the drink menu but no prices were listed. I presume all the pints are the same price or maybe a dollar difference. It's happy hour so you get a $1 off between 2 pm to 4 pm so I didn't bother to ask. I did ask about the lunch special I saw on their website, (lunch combo with a slice, salad, and soda starting at $9 and add $2 to upgrade to a pint). Our server had no idea what I was talking about. Hence, I just ordered a slice of the bison pepperoni and a pint of Bobcat. The slice was good. Cheese did not taste the same as New York though. The beer I got was a nice dark ale. I am not sure if they serve anything else other than a side salad with the pizza. We enjoyed our experience. Overall, this is a great place to visit with friends and have a slice. read more

This is by far my favorite place in Bozeman. The Vigilante IPA is my favorite beer and their Black IPA is right up there as well. They also have Bison Pepperoni pizza which is amazing. Happy Hour is 2-4 daily for a $1 off of beer and they serve pizza slices for $2.50-$4 before 4:00pm! I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who loves beer and pizza! read more

Probably my favorite pizza place in Bozeman. Right on campus, good vibe when you walk in. Have not had a pizza here I didn't really enjoy and I've tried just about all of them! Beers are good, homebrew root beer is good too! Avoid this place like the plague if there is a game (football or basketball) going on, or be prepared to wait an hour for a table, then another hour for your food...or be wise and order take out. Bozeman is a college/ski town and you see all of that here. Great spot. Don't expect the beer to be east coast though ( hey I'm spoiled, it's tough drinking beer anywhere once you have had the best).
