Pizza

Stopped here specifically for the bison pepperoni pizza. Definitely the best pizza I've had in a long time. Side salad was super fresh and everything is locally sourced. The waiter made the experience even better with top notch service and plenty of jokes.

We dropped by for a quick bite. House salad hit the spot... and pizza was really good- flavor wise and crust! Beers were tasty! Excellent service by Ricky (including his daddy jokes)! Laid back atmosphere and welcoming.

The Lee Metcalf Pale Ale from Bridger Brewing!

Bridger Brewing is one more Montana brewery I got to check off my list in regards to breweries to try. The beer that I had from this brewery was called Lee Metcalf which was a Pale Ale. It seems like this beer is one of their flagship beers and it's a good one at that! Flavors to find and have a good time with are hoppy, citrusy and floral. The beer is smooth and light bodied which is great! Definitely a fitting summertime beer and especially so with some pizza !

Unique pizza options with great beer seletion. The two of us came on a Sat night just before 6:30PM and it was challenging to find a parking spot. There was also a short wait (10-15mins) before we were able to get seated. Some great beer options. I went with the Sun Dog Cold IPA and my son went with the Mad MIle Cream Ale - we both enjoyed our selections. My son struggled to decided on which pizza to order as there were so many unique options that he wanted to try. We ended up ordereding two 10" pizzas - Italian Sausage Supreme ($18.50) & Highland ($20). They were both fantastic and were perfectly cooked!

Visited from San Diego after a looong day at Yellowstone! Bridger was everything we needed! Chill booth, Kya was a great server! And everything was delicious!

To be clear and set expectations, Bridger Brewing is a college pizza place. It's across the street from the college stadium. It's ran by 20-something aged children and dirty. Service is hungover. Music is great. Food has funky ingredients but is decent, not great. The cheesecake was a no bake tart. The beer is tasty but read the descriptions (ex: cucumber). Shares a parking lot with the Town & Country grocery store. Doesn't even have its own bathroom.

Pineapple Express Pizza, Unknown Pizza, honey-lime crema on the side

Started with a flight to get a little taste of four different beers. We were curious about one beer that we didn't try, but one of the workers brought us each a sample on the house! He wasn't our server, but maybe was a manager? He was cool - stopped by our table a few quick times just to check in and see how the beers were tasting. I ended up ordering the cream ale (I think?) and it had a cucumber hint to it. Very refreshing after a long hot day of biking. Both me and my partner each ordered a pizza and split a small caesar salad. The "small" caesar salad was plenty for us to get in our veggies before we munched on the pizzas. It was actually a great size for a small. I ordered the pineapple express pizza and it was a lot spicier than I expected (Garlic chili sauce, Cajun pulled pork, smoked mozzarella, fresh pineapple, pickled jalapeno, fresh cilantro). The jalapeno seemed fresh because GOLLY it was spicy, I just wasn't expecting it to have that much heat. They didn't have ranch (I'm from the midwest where ranch goes on everything) but they did have a honey-lime sour cream that usually comes with the elote pizza that they provided for us. It wasn't the same as ranch, but did help to cool off the spice of my pizza. I can't remember which pizza my partner ordered but I remember it being delicious and not spicy at all like mine. Fun, young atmosphere. You could tell most of the people in there were college aged. They had an upstairs as well and I believe they also had a patio up there. We soaked up the AC at a high top table by the bar. Nice art of the Bridgers above the bar.

We came in on a Friday night for dinner and drinks. The ambiance is a typical pizza pub. Service is fine, nothing special. Lots of pizza options to choose from. - Garlic bread appetizer (4/5): Bread was good, served with roasted garlic pieces - Mush love pizza (4/5): We loved the garlic truffle oil, perfect pairing with the mushrooms. - Andouille pizza (3.5/5): Lots going on but very tasty.

Absolutely amazing pizza. Wish it was closer to my house but it's still worth the drive through the college.

**November 2025: Saturday Night**…read more My mom and I were looking for a spot to enjoy dinner that had parking. We drove around downtown Bozeman for a good 30 minutes, and didn't have any luck in securing parking. I found Mountain Walking Brewery and thought I'd take a chance and prayed that there would be a lot or that I would be super lucky with street parking. We were in luck and there was one very small spot near the front of the restaurant - hallelujah! The restaurant was poppin' - almost every table was taken, but we were offered bar seating and we gladly accepted. After purusing through the menu I decided that we should try a variety of items including a side of Brussels sprouts, Bowl of Bison Chili, and a Fig and Arugula Pizza. Service was quick and we got all our items in a pretty timely manner. The pizza had a really great crust the dough had a nice bounce to it. I think for me they were a tad overly generous with the balsamic vinegar glaze which made the pizza quite salty. I would definitely order a pizza again but perhaps the Margherita or the Carnivore. The bison chili was a good standard bowl and the brussel sprouts while crispy was also very salty - I think it was definitely over dressed, but maybe since the majority of patrons were drinkin the salty foods would pair well. Seems like a fun place to hang out, but for me I'd probably pick anything that doesn't have glaze or soy sauce.

We went up & ordered right away. This (our 3rd stop in Montana) was the 1st place to hand us the 3 stamp card. We, not being from Montana, looked at it as if he'd handed us a random appendage from his body, no doubt. All we were trying to do was pay for our drink - ha. His explanation was "that's our tab, if you decide you want another, bring the card up." We tried to explain that we didn't want another. We were only having one & we'd like to pay. He told us to hold on to the card & pay after we were done. We went out back to the permanent food truck and ordered Kels kryptonite, the pretzel & a chicken & Belgian waffle w/ hot honey. It took about 20min. While we waited, we sipped our beer and flipped these cards over looking for clues... then we took to Google... then we spied on other people. Maybe we would have enjoyed the beer more if we knew what these cards were for and what the heck we were supposed to do with them! Fossil Fuel IPA scored a 3.25 from Kel n/a from me The Capone Oatmeal Stout a 3.5 from Kel 3.25 me Both on the average side with no major knocks or stand outs for features. The food was fresh & tasty - we wrapped up & went inside. We were asked for our cards, our book was stamped, we paid for 1 beer & went out still lost... At our NEXT stop, the barkeep explained that by Montana law, there's a 3 pour limit & a lot of larger places uses cards to track pours (aha!) & a strict 8pm cut off for taps - which we came waaay too close to!
