This is a nice spot to grab some really great food or appetizers and chug it down with a delicious homemade ginger beer. Our waitress was sweet to provide my cousins dog with water and some chicken breast complimentary. They also provided my cousin with fresh ginger beer to go since she hadn't finish her drink. Clean dining area, pleasant and customary staff and good food.

Friendly reminder that Brider is a winner. Friendly staff and potentially the best happy hour in Denver!

BriDer Wagyu French Dip with kettle chips 4/5. I want my French dip to melt in my mouth and the bread was a little hard for that

Went with girlfriends for hh and it had some great deals! The brussel sprouts were so good off the hh menu. The curry was flavorful but the portion was HUGE! It was essentially 3 meals! The service was great at first but after we got our food we were ignored and had to chase down a waiter to get boxes and our check.

This place is such a gem!! It's a casual spot, but they focus on high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. Our group ordered several things and everyone enjoyed their meal! Standouts were the mac & cheese, sweet potato fries, chicken & pesto sandwich, and wagyu french dip. Lastly, you MUST try their chocolate chip cookie!!! We ended up going back to get more, because it was amazing. Will definitely be back when I'm in town.

Woot! Hi Yelp Fam! This was a pleasant find. Pardon the pics of half eaten food. It's quite good. Showed up right at happy hour which is daily 3-6 pm. Lovely space. Wide open. Low lights. Good music. Great overall concept. Fantastic food. Sandwiches, salads, bowls, and more. Lovely and helpful staff. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Patio is available!

    French dip. Yum!

What a fantastic lunch this was at Brider! Love the environment and the dedication to scratch made, fresh food, at a very reasonable price. They have options running the gamut from super healthy to indulgent. Speaking of indulgent, they have a sign that Yelp named them the top chocolate chip cookie in all of Denver. While I am not from Denver, and haven't had lots of chocolate chip cookies there for sure, I can absolutely say this one was one of the best I've had in my life. So, it surely has to be up there. My meal at Brider consisted of their french dip sandwich, and a side salad (which was very well done, lots of fun ingredients), which the owner highlighted as one of his favorites. The french dip was a really big sandwich. The bread was excellent, the meat juicy and plentiful, and of course the dipping gravy just gives it that savory pop. I was tempted here by so many excellent options on the menu, so I would probably try something else next time but... first timers, this would be a great choice for you. I loved Denver, and can't wait to visit again. When I do, another lunch at Brider is probably on deck!

This place is dope!!! We ordered the family style dinner and it was awesome. It includes appetizers, two different salads, rotisserie chicken and their famous cookies.!! Service was friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend.

Stopped in for happy hour on my recent trip to Denver. They offer happy hour M-F from 3-6pm and have various deals on food and drinks. I selected the falafel pita, Brussels sprouts, and a mule. They make their ginger beer in house so I was excited to try one of their mules. Everything was fresh. I really enjoyed the Brussel sprouts. They were well seasoned and crispy. I appreciated the fact that they weren't soaked in a sauce. Oh! If you check in, you get a free cookie!! Apparently they are well known for their cookies too. And I now see why. It's a chocolate and white chocolate chip cookie. My first time trying it and I can see why it's so popular. It's delicious! The vibe is very chill and they have indoor and covered outdoor seating. It's located in downtown Denver so I can imagine parking may become challenging. Otherwise, it's worth checking out!

At first when we arrived, my husband was disappointed because he thought it was going to be a bunk dining experience. However, we ordered the charred sesame brussels sprouts, which were a definite yes after, do get them! Then we shared the huevos rancheros bowl, and a yummy Chicken Banh Mi sándwich, a side of half order sweet potato-avo salad with a delectable Thai dressing. Everything was delicious! Definitely worth the trip over there. The service staff was also super friendly and made great recommendations.

Finally got to try this place out. I work down the street and it is delicious! There were multiple items I wanted to try from breakfast foods like juevos rancheros to chicken and meatball sandwiches. I went with the meatball sandwich and it was so good! The service was fairly quick, the place was clean, and they have Gatorade in a can. Can't wait to go back!

My #ThankYouThursday goes to Brider! #1, They have a grrreat happy hour! There are reduced-price food items and drink specials ranging from $4 to $7. #2, the service has always been excellent when I've gone. People seem pretty happy to be working there and that does a lot when they're in the customer service business! Happy workers often lead to happy customers, I think! One time when I was there I was telling the bartender I wanted something to eat but not heavy or fried. He suggested the chicken and veggies on the kid's menu. I said "I can get that?" He said I could, that it wasn't a big deal that I wasn't a kid and he put my needs over the technicalities. It was super good and just the right light meal I was looking for. Stuff like that goes a long way, it's really not always that hard to please people and when I was a server I thought of it that way, too. If I can do it, I will, so I can make people happy with their experience and have nothing but a good time. The space is very open and there are some tables on the patio when Denver weather permits. Across the street is Denver Beer Co. as well as several other establishments in the area. It's a cool neighborhood. If I didn't live on the other end of downtown, I'd be here a lot more often!!

Chicken and Pesto Sandwich, and Sweet Potato & Avocado Salad
    Richard R.

Overall, this place had a great location, seating area and menu. The chicken sandwich was very good, however it was pretty light on the chicken. The meat on the sandwich was also pretty dry, as if it had been sitting out for a while. The salad had a similar vibe, being very light on the avocado. The dressing was very spicy, which wasn't mentioned on the menu. Service was quick and friendly. I will have to give this place another shot.

There's no performance here, no hospitality theater, no one asking how the first few bites are treating you. You walk up to the counter, you order, you take a number, you sit down. The food does the talking. And the food has a lot to say. I went on a bright Wednesday morning with a couple of friends and ordered the classic breakfast, swapping bacon for pastrami (a first for me) with an everything biscuit on the side (also a first). Both were revelations. The eggs over-hard might be the best version of that order I've ever gotten from a restaurant -- just a whisper of uncooked yolk in the center, perfectly seared on both sides. Skillet potatoes were spot-on. The skillet pastrami was rich and properly crisped at the edges. And the two generous slices of sourdough arrived with a scratch-made blueberry jam that I ended up smearing on everything I could -- sourdough, biscuit, probably would've eaten it with a spoon if no one was looking. My friend ordered the breakfast sandwich, which clearly belongs in the staples category. The baguette was the star: toasted outside, pillow-soft inside, zero tug-of-war with your teeth. That detail alone tells you the kitchen cares. This is the Ron Swanson part: there's an unapologetic confidence to this place. They know exactly what they're doing, they're not trying to oversell it, and they're not interested in charming you into liking it. They're just going to hand you something excellent and trust you to figure out the rest. The coffee was good. The food was setting-a-benchmark good. A real 5 out of 5 stars, no pickin nits. Mild observation, not a complaint: the service is counter-only, no traditional table service. Would Matthew McConaughey or Reese Witherspoon dropping plates off elevate the experience? Sure. But Ron wouldn't have it any other way, and honestly, neither would I after eating here. If I lived within 45 minutes of downtown Denver, this would be my destination breakfast. As it is, I'm a 12 hour drive away, and if it were only 11, perhaps I'd go tomorrow. The real downside? The food was so good I completely forgot to take a picture.

We had the Taylor ham, egg, and cheese, the sloppy gnome, the patty melt, eggplant parm, the Cuban, and great fries. We shared, and everyone was thrilled with the flavors and textures. I was so happy my friends enjoyed Jersey food as much as I do! We all loved the atmosphere, and the seating is plentiful inside and out. The parking is wonderful since they have their own lot! I have to add that we asked to speak to the owner, Ken. We were told he is not really a talker. To our surprise, Ken came over and was terrific! He told us the story of his dad starting at 4 am every day to begin the prep for the Taylor ham, egg, and cheese sandwiches for all the Jersey trades workers and other patrons. This is a strong part of the NJ culture. Ken told us the story of how he got connected to gnomes (ask him to see the tats). Ken shared his favorite Jersey food and how he got to Colorado. Great stories that should be on the website! Ken also spoke extremely highly of the brew master. Since I am not a beer drinker, I have no recommendations. This is a fun place to visit! They simply Do Not care about general food safety getting a hot meal here is rather risky I will explain why. My friend was a cook here for a short while and quit on them once he realized they care nothing about serving food that is safe to eat, he saw them do sooo many things that would easily make the food contaminated and unsafe to eat and somehow that was there process of doing things. Here are a couple examples of menu items one should try to steer clear of Chicken parm sandwich- they cook off a large batch of the chicken cutlets and let them sit at room temp for a hour or two until someone orders one they refries them for a minute or so, your supposed to keep food hot once it is cooked especially chicken to leave cooked chicken at room temp for so long is extremely risky to the public's health. Meatball sandwich- they leave there meatballs on the hot line all day then they save all of the hot food items from the day and reuse them the next day without properly cooling any of the food and the cooks will leave these item sit out at room temp for about 45 mins before even putting them into the cooler. Many issues with this practice first of all hot food should be discarded after 5 hours according to the health department because after 5 hours it will start growing bacteria, to leave it on a hot line all day then save them for the next day and not even cool them down properly is Crazy risky to people's health and they do not just do this with the meatballs they do it for many of there hot dishes they are used for days on in, not properly cooled and not properly tracked for how many times it has been reheated and such me they keep them in the same pans it's flat out gross. Other issues my friend encountered there was never seeing anyone at all wash there hands at any point in time, a ancient dishwashing machine that didn't clean anything at all it didn't even get hot so half of there dishes are greasy and have food residue on them, in his short time there he saw people fired for no reason what's so ever from what he was told the owner fires people left and right and doesn't even give reasons as to why, that's why they have ads up on indeed looking for employees 24/7.
