Luv bridal recommended this place for my wedding dress alterations and they were available. It was pricey but the work they needed to do made sense. I had to get the front of my dress hemmed, I had to also let the dress out because it was too tight at the top and then we also got the dress bustled and cut some fabric on the arms. I took it in and I came back 5 weeks later and the dress was perfect I could tell it was hemmed because I didn't need to kick the dress out to walk. I didn't feel like I was going to trip over my dress. And the dress felt so much comfortable because it didn't feel so tight anymore. You can call or text Mary and she will confirm and explain the bridal fitting process. Due to Covid Mary is currently not meeting with customers, she explains this but has a team that has been working for her for over 20 plus years. I felt confident. First Bridal fitting--- LITERALLY 10 minutes. The woman I believe Sang was so confident in her work and truly knew what she was doing that I only needed 10 minutes. I felt a little uneasy at how fast she was but she seemed VERY knowledgeable. I had a hem, dress taken in, straps taken up, and cups put into my dress all for the whopping price of $980, OUCH! I honestly did not want to pay this exorbitant amount but my mom said she felt they seemed diligent, knowledgeable and efficient. On the day I was suppose to do my final fitting and take home my dress-- 5 days before my wedding, I get a call(two hours before) from Mary that my dress is not ready and to come in the next day. Okay a bit panicked since my wedding is fast approaching. I show up the next day and I try on the dress, straps uneven and they say to come back in two hours. I come back and its done. I think just feeling so overwhelmed and time crunch that I would have taken anything lol. However, when I look at my photos from my wedding day my wedding dress still looks a bit loose up top and I truly wish I had more taken in. I wish I was more vocal about it since I paid so much! My dress came in very late from when promised but I was able to get in quickly and have an alterations plan made within the time I needed to get ready for my big day. I needed to have the dress hemmed, taken in, a shelf was built and cups added. The team did a very good job. I was able to get everything I needed in 3 trips. I would give this place 0 stars if possible. I came in for a consult for wedding dress alterations, it literally took 10 minutes, was seen by Annie. I had come with a friend for her final fitting a few years ago and thought the work was great. My experience here however left a sour taste in my mouth. She quickly quoted me prices as she adjusted hem length, straps, bustle, side seams etc. It seemed as if she was rushed, uninterested, not customer service based. At the end of all the 10 minutes she said "ok I can leave in the pins if you want to go with us." I just said I need some time to think about it and I have a few other consultations lined up, and I asked for all the quoted prices to be written down. After I had taken my dress off, she handed me her business card with two of the price quotes instead of four, where she proceeded to say "those are the only two that are important for you" and moved on to the next customer where she started pinning their dress. So then I asked, "how much did you say the straps were again?" She answered "it cost $$". And I asked one more question "How much is the bustle?" AND SILENCE....She did not answer. There were 4 other people in the room. At this point was she just ignoring my question? How is this even possible that an individual just shows that level of disrespect towards customers who just wanted to know pricing? Also there was another bride there waiting to have her dress picked up and I overheard her say "my dress has a red stain on it, not sure how it was there or if it was something in the back, can you please remove it?" My thoughts were WHAT?? You are paying this much for alterations it should not also come with stains on it. I would just say for those looking for wedding dress alterations, save your time and money and go elsewhere. Not customer service driven AND you might get a stain on your dress after you receive it. This business does not exude any level of professionalism. Please invest in some customer service training for your employees, it will be better for your business and save you from a review like this. read more

This is the place to go for all your bridal alterations need. You can make an appointment online (my preferred method) or over the phone. Keep in mind that alterations to your wedding dress can be expensive but I trust Annie 100%. They quote you on how much everything cost upfront and you can decide if you want to proceed or not. I had to get a few alterations done on my wedding dress (length, straps, take in, bra cups etc) but if you already spend so much on a dress, might as well spend the extra amount to make it look perfect. read more

During my time, an atrocious woman (shall I call her Karen?) came in during my appointment and demanded service from Annie immediately. This place was referred by Luv Bridal for my friend. Their prices are egregious, the work quality was terrible, and lack understanding what customer want. During the consultation, my friend liked the new straps they showed her as a sample so she asked for that specific strap to be on her wedding dress. Instead, they added beads to the original strap and shortened it, and charged over $300 after tax. My friend quickly got her dress back before they could do any other work due to the bad quality. She went with another alteration person, and they mentioned this would have only been about $100. Additionally, they mentioned that my friend was the 6th person to go to her that month from this place. Pricing may vary depending on your dress but this is what was quoted, a lot were add ons they recommended but most are unnecessary: - $85 shorten strap - $195 add beads to strap - $195 custom bustle - $55 push up cups - $125 press & steam - $135 tighten sleeves - $199 take in at cup side - $199 straighten 2 side hips These prices are outrageously overcharged, and the person my friend worked with is very pushy. It was easy to get my needs met and easy to communicate. They will take very good care of it and will make sure it fits you like a glove on your wedding day! As I live in Ventura County, driving down to Mary was a two hour drive. On one occasion, we had switched one of my appointments to a different day over text but unfortunately Mary's team did not update it in their schedule so when my mom and I drove down for my alteration appointment my gown was not ready for me and they had not made the final alterations. We were upset as we had just driven two hours to the appointment that was confirmed over text. Mary and her team were extremely apologetic and said they would have my gown ready a few days later. Drove over a hundred miles to get to our appointment only to find a hand written card on the door from Mary saying she wasn't available today and didn't have our correct phone number. I'm unsure how she didn't have the correct number and it happens. But would have really appreciated the effort of an email, especially that had been how we communicated previously. Or perhaps don't send a confirmation email if she knew in advance she was unavailable. Like many others, I was referred to come here and appointments were easy and quick. I believe that they are very experienced and do good work on their alterations. My dress fit much better and I felt good in it. They will typically reply via text within a day. Customer service is fair. I have to knock off two stars because of its steep prices and inconvenience they have caused. The steam/pressing the dress is extra whereas most other bridal alterations do it as part of the alteration service. If I only needed the dress to be pressed, then that's a different situation and of course I would pay. However, when you are already having a full set of alterations the dress should be ready to go to be worn like other places. I would recommend this place ONLY if you are not on a budget. Let me just tell you that this amazing woman is not only sweet and kind but she is also the best at creating a master piece to make you look and feel like the princess you are. Sang absolutely ruined my wedding dress two weeks before my wedding. This shop is no longer owned by Mary who helped build the business over the past 50 years. When I left my dress with Sang, she told me she was not going to hem the skirt until I returned because I did not have my shoes. Not only did she hem my skirt (2" too short), she also took the liberty of redesigning my designer dress from a fit and flair to an A-line.
