The garlic knot meatball sliders. That's a lot of food for an appetizer!
    Alan C.

My partner has ordered delivery from here before, and she has always been very happy. Today I picked up food for us. The lady who helped me was friendly and helpful. It doesn't look like much on the inside. They do not have any inside seating, but there are two tables on the outside if you want to eat There. This is primarily at a to go spot. However, one thing that is cool, they actually have a working "space invaders" machine in a corner of the shop. My partner wanted a meatball slice, but they didn't have it that day, so, the lady offered to put meatballs on a garlic and mushroom slice. It was a big slice, too! My partner liked it very much. She said it was delicious. For dessert, she had a slice of the Godiva chocolate cake, or as we like to jokingly call it, the Godiva, death by chocolate cake. I haven't had it yet, but she says it is so rich and so very delicious! I wasn't very hungry today, so I just had the garlic knot meatball sliders. Excellent! You can definitely smell and taste the garlic, the garlic knots, themselves are tender, and the meatball in the middle is tender and very tasty. They also come with a good amount of cheese. There was a marinara sauce/gravy for dipping, that was also excellent. It was just an appetizer, but it filled me up. I ordered from them again, and I had the mushroom/meatball pizza that my partner had yesterday. It was delicious! For dessert, I had the fried dough, basically deep fried dough balls covered with powdered sugar. No, not diet food, but they are delicious. The price was very reasonable, and they even offer a military/veterans discount. There is a 4% "upcharge", to cover their costs if you are paying with plastic instead of cash. Not a big deal to us. We will definitely order from here again. Thank you!

Update to the update - Picked up my pie: peppers, onions, black olives and meatless crumbles. Don't forget the crushed red pepper. I prefer to stick with fresh veggies only on pizza, but will try the vegan sausage next. Probably won't get the crumbles again. Note, they do use daiya, so if you're not a fan, ask for a small amount of daiya or none at all and add your own plant based cheese at home. I did that on one order and added more plant based mozz and kite hill ricotta at home and next day it was so killer- that NY - next day - cold or reheated pizza - the bomb. Vegan menu included in this review. Updating to 5 stars for the vegan pizza. I so appreciate a local spot that can deliver a vegan pizza that tastes delicious. Even the non-vegans were satisfied :)

If this looks undercooked and doughy that's because it is. These became raccoon food. The rest I cooked in my oven to a decent crisp.

They fell off. Their first year open they were good and I had high hopes but the last few times I tried this place it fell flat. The final straw was ordering 3 meals and one plain pizza pie and the pizza was so undercooked and doughy I was in amazement. Seriously if you are a pizza place and you place an undercooked regular pie in a box and give it to a customer then you might as well start looking on career builders for new employment because it is only a matter of time before you close up shop. Sorry you jumped the shark. You are a pizzeria that can't make and cook a pizza properly. As for the meals? Who cares they ruin pizza.

Menu had lots of variety and the dessert specials were to die for. Everything was delicious - highly recommend the calamari appetizer and the complimentary bread was fantastic. I just about licked my dinner plate clean (get the duck breast)! Friends loved the fried chicken and the salmon. Wine list was great and service was wonderful.

Thankfully…read moreit wasn't too annoying to get a reservation and we found the spot to be busy and popular among locals and tourists alike. Walking in we were seated promptly though we immediately noticed that the interior was extremely dark. Not a big deal but worth flagging for older folks who might have a hard time reading. Our server was friendly and relatively attentive and walked us through the menu. We started off with some classics including their bread and butter (which was tasty and delicious) and ordered their P.E.I Mussels ($19) along with their Fried Brussels Sprouts ($15) to share. The portions were quite large for everything (great if you're in a larger party) but we immediately noticed that the mussels they served seemed a bit off. Many of them were not opened all the way (a sign that they might not be the freshest or recently passed) and had a bit of a fishy taste to them. We ended up not finishing them and flagged them to our waiter. The other items, including the 14oz Ribeye ($43) and baby back ribs ($28) were better, though a bit one-note. The bay back ribs in particular were extremely saucy and the corn bread was dry and a bit tough to eat. I had to use a knife to split it apart as it kept crumbling every time I used a fork. Regardless, it seems like a popular spot for a reason and perhaps we just went during more of an off-night. I'd still recommend checking it out but avoiding the mussels if you go.

We were not disappointed. We were seated promptly by our lovely hostess, and Shaun immediately came over to recite specials and to take our orders. He was attentive and we knew we were in good hands! We started with the Dr. Fox Cocktail: Angostura bitters, Bulleit Rye, Apple Liqueur, Dry Curacao, and Sweet Vermouth, which was perfect. It was accompanied by a hummus trio to spread on the bread. There was also a delicious foccacio. Next we were served a perfect salad, delicately dressed, and what made the salad so delightful was that the lettuce was torn into manageable pieces. A pet peeve of mine is large lettuce leaves that are difficult to wrangle, and this was not the case here. There were also tiny bits of cauliflower that gave the salad a nice texture and crunch.  I had the Stuffed Artichoke and my husband had Shrimp Gamberi on an Arugula salad. Both were substantial and beautifully seasoned. We had two glasses of an Argentine Tomero Malbec. It was a generous pour. For the main course, I had Polla al Limone (Lemon Chicken) over spinach. A simple dish done well. My husband had the Halibut special, a classic Mediterranean baked halibut with tomatoes, capers, and olives. So good that he finished it all...a rarity for him. (The halibut was pricey and it would be appreciated if the price was mentioned when the specials were gone over. Perhaps we should have asked.) We finished with a Sorbetto al Lampone, a tart raspberry sorbet in a dark chocolate shell and sliced.  And as we left, our sweet hostess brought over Lucianno, the most adorable puppy, to send us off with puppy kisses! We definitely will be back...especially for the wild boar ragu over pappadelles. One nitpicking observation. The entrance to the restaurant was a tad shabby. We mistook it for the service entrance. It needs to be spruced up to match the superb food inside!

Ima keep ranting about this part of New York. This area really don't got a lot of good flavor. And…read morewhat I mean by that, like the cooking just ain't cooking for most of these spots. And idk what it is, it could be just the local folks don't got that much flavor in their taste buds and they the anti-City folk type so most of the businesses just lack in that field. With that said... this was a pretty decent Italian spot I will say WITH that consideration in mind. I did have the ravioli with slow cooked carne inside and that was delicious. My wife got the lasagna and... it was iiiitte. Family next to us were raving about it and like they were nice and we were being polite. But like let's be real here - it tasted like Stouffer's. Not that it's a knock, but at that point, you paying for the atmosphere. Which I will say the indoors is nice. You can have a nice date night or family outing here. There's a bar and plenty of parking. The service was on point and very accommodating with our new born. Who we were chopping it up with our waiter, and found out the owner's name is also the same as our kid so that was fun talking with them on. The garlic bread - idk if it's supposed to come cold, but it had like tomato sauce on it, it was like the complimentary bread with some extra shit on it. But I wasn't feeling that, but my inner Italian side just kept dipping it in my red, and it was all good. I'm glad we came here but probably won't be back if given the chance. But we looked around, and it seemed like to be the only viable Italian restaurant in the area so, if given under the same conditions, we would be back lol. I just went back and forth there like 3 times. Is that non-Ai enough of a review for you Yelp? After they flagged me for actually structuring and editing my reviews like in old school English class. Now yelp is promoting "Yelp Assistant" even though it's Ai. Gtfo here lmao
