Food is decent. Portions are pretty Yuge. We sat next to someone that was dining while talking on their phone the entire time. A waitress would stop by and kiss him during dinner at least 2-3 times while we ate. We were only there for 35 minutes. Dude was smooched a few times by the waitress while we ate Nachos and as a joke we created a scenario that would justify his smooches. We left without any smooches. Pros- Nachos were big! This is my son's favorite restaurant and every time we go he says it's the best meal he's ever had. The service is always great and friendly even tonight when there was a 20 minute wait. I do want to add, tonight another patron paid for mine and my son's meal, I recently became a single mother and this has been our special date night spot. When our server told us someone had covered the bill, it brought tears to my eyes. I'm so happy we stopped in when we did. A typically busy Friday night, required us to wait about 20 minutes for a table - but the manager came around with slices of cheese pizza to hold us over during our wait. Talk about hospitality! Once we did sit down, our experience only got better. My drink and food were so tasty. I tried to Whiskey Darling and ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp and Fries for the table. The sauce on the shrimp so was the perfect tang on crispy golden shrimp. I also ordered the Blue Ribbon Burger with Sweet Potato Fries for my entree and was quite impressed. Best burger we've had since moving to MO. We got a gift card for Christmas so decided to try it out on Friday evening. Went early so we got sat right away. Waitress was named Romi and she asked if it was our first time there which is always nice. She told us about Happy Hour which was local beers. Hubby was happy with the red. I would have been happy if anything other than beer was on Happy Hour! On to the food. I choose the Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich with Salt and Pepper Honey and the sweet potato fries. Two nice sized pieces of breaded and fried chicken. Yummy chicken. Not bland chicken. I actually removed one piece to save as leftovers as the sandwich was so big. Sandwich also had pineapple and a honey sauce. Sounds like a super sweet sandwich but I thought it was wonderful. The sweet potato fries were excellent. Cut and fried just right and the extra honey sauce on the side from my sandwich was great to dip those fries in. Hubby had the Double Bricktown Burger with regular fries. It was fabulous. The patties were thick and so juicy...not those flat super salty type of patties. There was just the right amount on cheese and their house sauce. Lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. I think I had actually forgotten what a good burger was. The regular fries were also great. Cooked and seasoned properly. We will be back for sure. Really want to try the Avacado fries. As we left two bus boys thanked us for coming in. With the issues in staffing these days this was a really pleasant experience! Only suggestion is put a cocktail on the Happy Hour menu! read more

I've always a great experience at Bricktown. I really have enjoyed the rotating menu atypically of a chain restaurant. My favorites are the cowboy Bison Burger, sweet potato fries...add Carmel and bacon, and probably the item I get most often is the chicken fried steak. Fam chooses pizza, salads, and meatloaf and are always ready to come back! Service even when busy is great. Sitting at the bar is always a win! read more

We stopped in here last week while on a family adventure from Lake Taneycomo to Bass Pro Shops. We were in the area from Arizona on vacation. Good quality ingredients and prepared perfectly! I'm really here leaving this review because of my meal. I had the buttermilk fried chicken with salt and pepper honey sandwich. It was amazing! It was unique! It was inventive! The honey really added a nice finish to the sandwich and meshed perfectly with the pineapple in the middle! I can't say enough good things about it! I really can't wait for our next trip to SW Mo so we can eat here again! I only wish I had taken a picture of our plates before we demolished our meals! Didn't mind waiting for meals but it all needs to be fresh after waiting 30 mins. Wives burger was very good. The Fish was very fresh. They ended up making a new batch of fries and they were great. We come to Bricktown often it is one of our favorite restaurants in Springfield. Usually we have the same waiter who knows our orders, our food is cooked hot and served on point! This time our food was delayed, not hot, my husbands fries were burnt but not hot. Our waiter was pretty inattentive. We were just going to pay and go, however, the Manager Ben came around the restaurant kindly asking people about their meals. We explained to him our disappointment of our visit this time and the the restaurant was me of our family favorites. Not only did he offer to correct the issues, he offered a discount to our meal. He promised to coach his team on standards and expectations of service and food quality, assuring us this is NOT the norm for Bricktown (which we already knew). Ben's customer service and genuinely friendly manner is one of the reasons Bricktown is one of our favorite places to eat. Found another really good spot down in Springfield one afternoon. They have a really nice bar setup and the bartenders are awesome. Beer selection is great too. I got my usual order of wings and fries and they did not disappoint. Atmosphere of the whole place is chill and not too busy on a Friday. I recommend this place if your ever in the area. Great food, beer, apps! My only complaint and have mentioned a couple of times to our servers when I've been there is that the music is blaring loud. The good food took us back again for a birthday celebration but again the service was lacking. Well out of courtesy we don't start eating until everyone is served so it was another 2-3 minutes waiting on chicken tenders. By the time we started eating many things were no longer hot.
