So for some reason this seems like the spot you end up at while looking for food in downtown La grange. We were a party of 3 (4 if you count our pup) we asked to sit outside and were told to go ahead and there would be a 20 mins wait. But we could order drinks and an appetizer from the bar as we waited outside. While my fiancé was waiting for his drink at the bar a waitress came to the table and let's just say she didn't seem happy. We explained that we were getting drinks and an appetizer from the bar since they told us it would be 20 mins. This only annoyed her more. We ordered the tater tot nachos with pulled pork, a half house salad (because they were out of bone in chicken wings. We had our heart set on lemon pepper wings), the black and blue burger med rare and a cup of loaded baked potato soup. The nachos came out with out the pulled pork. We got the pulled pork as we took the last bite of nachos. The salad and burger took like 30 mins, the burger was well done and the soup had too much black pepper for the average persons taste bud. We of course still tipped 20+% because hey even though she may have not been the best waitress for our table. She still has bills, this is her job and everyone has a bad day here and there. read more

Seated fairly quickly, had 3 adults, a 6 year old and a 4 year old. They had chicken strip meal and a grilled cheese meal. We ordered chicken Alfredo meal, chicken was too lemony to eat. I had the Brckyard chicken which was totally not was described on the menu, a super chicken breast covered in straight from the bottle bbq sauce and a light sprinkle of cheese, yuck...husband had the chicken quesadillo, he said it was fine. Kids were both sound asleep before the meals ever came. Waitress seemed irritated we had kids, never offered refills, seen her when she delivered food and again when she dtopped off check. My husband and I decided to take a short trip to LaGrange to just check out the town for the weekend. We were driving around and saw Brickhouse Grille and thought we'd give it a try for a quick lunch. We sat at the bar and Abby T. was our fabulous bartender. For lunch we had the fried dill pickle chips, one of their burgers, Wings with Carolina bbq sauce and a side of their red beans & rice. Everything was freshly cooked, very well seasoned and delicious. Our beers were super cold and clean & crisp. While the food was great, the service was other level outstanding. As a matter of fact, we got back to our hotel room and searched for places for dinner and decided on another local restaurant. Well...at this other restaurant, the bartender was so rude to us that we left after one drink and an appetizer. So, we ended up going back to the bar at Brickhouse Grilled and to our delight, Abby T. was working a double at the bar that day. For dinner we had their delicious patty melt--probably the best I've ever had, along with some fresh, hot onion rings and a big salad with jalapeño Ranch that had just the right amount of spice. The drinks were great again...but, nothing could outshine the stellar customer service experience Abby T. provided for us. Thank you so much for a memorable weekend. We will certainly drive the 36 miles from Opelika on a regular basis just for this great bar food and atmosphere. read more

Getting the brick house today a four-star review for the food alone. Had the shrimp basket and the price is about 15 bucks but the shrimp are amazing. The service however really needs to pick it up a bit. The server was polite, but every time we've ordered a drink from the bar we've had to wait 10 minutes to get it to our table as we sit there and watch it sitting on the bar sweating. When I ordered my Sprint basket I wanted a side of fish, server informs me that that cannot be done. Been to the brick house several times I know it can be done but she said the kitchen didn't like it that away. Now again this 4-star rating is on the food by itself because the food was fab whoever they had in the kitchen today is really on point. This place was not easy to find, but I'm glad we decided to check it out for ourselves. I recommend parking in the middle of the parking deck and you can walk right up to the main entrance. Ambience is comfortable. Although it is a restaurant bar, with a wide variety of beers on tap, you can definitely bring your whole family. We were seated quickly, and our server was friendly and attentive. We started with the bang bang shrimp and fried pickles and think they were the best that we've ever had. The menu has something for everyone which made it a little hard to decide what we wanted for our main course. The night was suppose to be a birthday dinner. The waitress was beyond slow and it took so long to get drinks. But that was not the worst part. For a party of 10 it took almost 2 hours to get everything and half of our orders were wrong. After two returns we were done and asking for the manager.The manager attempted to make things right by taking half off the tickets however even when we got the tickets they were not what they were promised. I felt bad for the waitress but it was out of her control but she took the brunt of the anger. I have no issue with the waitress but the food was cold and orders were wrong . The restaurant hostess was very welcoming and the decor was nice. When we arrived, we placed our names on the waiting list and asked to sit at the bar until our seat was ready. We ordered drinks from the bartender. This was the unpleasant part of our experience. She did know how to make a flavored martini or Mojito. We explained the basics of the drinks and she proceeded to make them. The martini was good however the mojito was terrible. She was very rude when taking our order. A man sitting at the bar tired to get the bartender's attention to ask for silverware. She ignored him and another lady at the bar walked over asked the hostess for silverware for her and him. We ordered food and it was another unpleasant experience. The bartender was not thrilled we wanted to order... we hesitate for 1 minute and she said "I'll just come back," and walked away. We had to wait another 10 minutes before we could get her attention to order. After we placed the order our table was called. We were seated at our table for a few minutes. My mother went to tell the bartender we had moved to the table. She proceeded to roll her eyes and walk away as my mother spoke to her. After that incident, the bartender then walked over to our table and said "If I would have know you guys were moving to a table I would NOT have ordered your food!" Wonderful place to eat at! Our server was Michaela and she was amazing. Great service and good food. We started off with the Cheesesteak Fries, which was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend had the Wings in Lemon Pepper and Sweet Sriracha with Fries. They were great for price and had a good amount of meat on the bone. The fries had a great crunch on them, no sogginess at all! I had the Blackened Chicken Alfredo. This was a wonderful pick if you love pasta! Then to end on a sweet note, we ended the night with a delicious slice of Chocolate Cake. It was rich and a new fave in my books. This was a wonderful and positive experience. We found this place by accident. Out for a Sunday drive w googled "best places to eat in LaGrange, GA." A list popped up and, as luck would have it we were just driving by Brickhouse Grille. I told my husband, "Stop! They're on the list!" We asked the waitress (Alia) to recommend an appetizer. She suggested Bang Bang Shrimp--deep fried popcorn shrimp and jalapeños mixed with banana peppers and served with a spicy pepper sauce! Not only was it amazing but the very generous portion allowed us to bring home half. Then Alia suggested the Lafayette burger, which my husband ordered. An Angus patty served with bacon and bacon jam, goat cheese and romaine leaves. Again, amazing! Interestingly, we waited quite awhile for the entrees. Alia finally came out to apologize and said, "Chef overcooked your meat. You ordered medium rare and it was way past that so I asked him to cook you two more." When the burgers arrived they were perfectly cooked. While we were waiting, Alia brought us two fresh drinks. I was so hungry after the long wait for our food, I almost forgot to take a photo. They forgot the avocado spread or it was so sparse that I could not taste it. The onion rings are to die for. It was 71° outside and I was shivering at the table. Our server walked past our table twice and did not notice we needed more drink. She did fill them up prior to our food coming out, but never refilled again. I was able to taste ONE french fry from my husband's plate, which was very good. First trip to here to LaGrange. Nice place. We were a party of 6. I order a Mich Ultra on draft. Was told they were out. Ordered buffalo chip dip. They were out. They were out of just about everything we all ordered. Whitney was awesome and smelled really good!! Haha. She did everything in her power to accommodate us. Our appetizers were comped. Then they brought out soup and no spoon, took like 5-10min to get a waitress attention to get a spoon, so the soup was cold by the time it happened. This was a return visit. We had a party of 8 and we were seated right away as they weren't very busy.(lunch time on a Friday) we were greeted by our waitress and got our order placed right away. I'm happy that they're open after 2 since we're traveling through and wanted something other than fast food. The place is very nice, great decorations, bathroom is clean, menu has a great variety. We got the Mac and cheese side, buffalo Mac and cheese, asparagus side, spinach side, and pork taco. They did NOT say that the pork would be carnitas as I assumed since it's a taco.... Instead it's a tender, sweet pork. Possibly BBQ. There was a gray green blob next to it, I think it's supposed to be guacamole.... The veggie sides are awesome!!!! I go to Brickhouse about once or twice a month, either with a group of friends, for date night, or with family. They have themed nights like karaoke and a live band sometimes. It's a great place to watch sports at the bar and they have kid meals as well. I had awesome service each time I visited! read more

I went there for lunch while visiting from out of town and I loved it. I had the tuna tacos, which is definitely risky at a public place, but it was some of the best that I've had in a long time. Crispy outside rare inside, and super fresh. Service was a little bit slow, so if they could fix that part the place would be a five star. read more

I have not been to this restaurant in about a year or so. So I was dying for a good meal as before. Couple of weeks ago stopped by on a Friday for lunch they had just opened about 20 minutes or so. I went to the bathroom which is thru a corridor door hallway when coming back to restaurant the door was locked. I banged on door many times and no one came, not a single worker opened the door. Banged some more and more husband heard the banging on door and investigated it was locked and let me in. Whew I did not want to walk all away around the building to back to come in again it was cold and windy that day and I did not have my coat on. So this should have been a sign, many workers in kitchen talking and banging pots but not listening to surroundings. Brianna the waitress was outstanding very pleasant and nice smile. We were both going to get the red snapper but she said it was on it's way to the restaurant and not in stock when ordered. So I have had a burger the last time I was here and it was outstanding I could not go wrong the second time Right ? We ordered first in the whole restaurant so we thought we would be served first but didn't get served until 45 mins after order. My husband ordered the ALPS burger which is very good I had it before. Well we could not find the mushrooms on the burger last time on top of burger smothered with a great creamy Swiss cheese melted and cooked to perfection with the bacon just an added bonus and tasty. This time cardboard Swiss cheese could bend it but it would not break asked where the mushrooms were did not taste them and when cook came out he said it was under the Swiss, we looked and laughed a couple of little mushrooms no taste added to a big burger, hidden under cardboard Swiss, terrible bread was pitiful. Were they waiting for a delivery of the real thing? The cook said it is always made like this. Well the last time I had it, it was not like this and it was tasty and awesome that is why we came back to eat there we thought we could get anything we were craving and it would be cooked properly well NO we did not my club sandwich was just ok and when it came I asked the server is this the club sandwich and she said yes. Well I have never had a club sandwich this messy and on different type bread it just fell apart and most of the bread was on plate not a lunch I had envisioned for my day off on a sunny cold day. We should have went to Longhorn Steakhouse at least there burgers are consistent. Brianna was very nice and pleasant but she seemed to be the only one taking orders and serving also. Wonder where the staff and kitchen were on the 28th of FEB ? She came back later & said they were waiting on my pizza. I told her to go ahead & bring out my other sons side of fries & my wife's tuna salad. Those came out a few minutes later. My wife couldn't hardly eat the tuna because of how salty it was. My boys finished their food & my wife quit on the the tuna about the time my pizza finally arrived. It was WAY overcooked & did not taste good. I stopped at one piece. There was never an apology or anything & we also had to continuously ask for refills. Stopped here on the way to Great Wolf Lodge. The drinks are delicious. Had the blueberry lemonade vodka which is brewed in Kennesaw and a mixed drink. My husband had the Night on Ponce which is always a wonderful IPA. For food we had the jumbo shrimp, chicken fingers,and fried red snapper. Everything was delicious minus the fries that were just ok. We come in every week for trivia and consistently have to go to the hostess stand to have someone take our order. We have been here 30 minutes and just now someone took our drink order. Surprise surprise they do not have Michaelob Ulta. Don't come here on Mondays if you ever want Mick Ulta. They are always out. The only thing they have on the menu that is low calorie is salads. Don't think is too much to ask to get grilled chicken, shrimp, or salmon added. Service is terrible food is mediocre. read more
