Brickhouse is such a cute coffee shop in the Lawrence/Geist area! Decided to try it after my stop around the corner and couldn't decide on which drink to get so I got both of the ones I wanted (LOL I know but hey adult money ). I got the Honeycomb Shaken Espresso and the Coconut Cold Brew. I absolutely LOVED the Honeycomb Shaken Espresso, the honey blend with whatever other flavors they add to it really brings the drink to life. I WISH they had it in a bigger size because I need it lol. The coconut cold brew was just okay. Not really a fan even though I love coconut but maybe if I had added another flavor or something the drink would've been better. Service was good and smooth! Being that it was a Sunday, it was slightly packed but nothing outrageous. Overall, I would go back for the Honeycomb drink and would beg them to give it to me in a larger size lol.
The staff were friendly. Being my first time here I had to a lot of question but they had me covered. I tired a Daydream refresher that was delicious is came with a coconut foam on top with some lemonade and tea. Yummy, My hubby tried the Triple B Carmel Latte which he did enjoy. This place was close to a few other places that could be a stop for you. I'd like to enjoy the space next time and try something to snack on!
I've been obsessed with Brickhouse from my first visit. I initially stopped in because I saw on their website that they have gluten free and dairy free scones. I love scones. Sold! I've since been many times and I love this place. The Glass Slipper tea is my fave--a lovely cherry almond caffeine free blend. I'll pair it with a scone, the blueberry earl grey maybe being my favorite. (But they are all so good!) I come in here to write, and they have a good amount of outlets and seating. They do get busy, so sometimes I'm squeezing in to the last spot for a bit, but it does slow down if I'm there a while. They have a rewards program that's great! I've earned free pastries and teas, and it felt easy to do (unlike some local shops that take a loooong time for me to earn a reward). Anyway, I love Brickhouse and will hear no criticisms. Thank you and goodnight. ;)
A large, welcoming coffee shop with food too! I had their special malted mocha latte and fresh baked oatmeal pie cookie that was deliciously sweet! The staff was kind and service was quick. There's plenty of seating inside and outside.
Did some house hunting today and I made a pit stop after I saw this coffee shop... I LOVE supporting small businesses! As soon as I walked in I was greeted and the place was very inviting. It has a chill vibe to it and it definitely had a community feel. I ordered a vanilla latte and it was amazing! The coffee is strong and good. I didn't get anything to eat but I know I'll be back! This place is the perfect spot to study, have a meeting or a date! I also love that they make and sell their own coffee, syrups, etc. Everyone was really nice!!! I will definitely be back! It's hard to find GOOD coffee these days... TRY THIS PLACE!
This spot will easily become your next favorite coffee shop, as the space is so comfortable, aesthetic, and service is 10/10. I tried the Lavender Rose Iced Latte and Southwest Turkey Melt this time, and was incredibly impressed. Both were delicious and hit the spot immediately in flavor. I love shops that have community boards and love learning about local opportunities in the area, shout out! The perfect spot to get some work done and cannot wait to come back!
First time in, and already made up my mind I was going to purchase a drink but wasn't sure. I picked up a couple Too Good To Go bags for fun. Ended up ordering the Ube latte and it was AMAZING! Xzavion was very sweet and helpful (hope I spelled his name right and my apologies if I didn't, please forgive me). An item caught my eye while I was waiting for my latte and it was a strip. Lavender rose! He gave me a sample and it was too good to pass up so I purchased a bottle. He also made another coffee with the syrup and it was very delicious. Definitely glad I bought it. Thank you for making me feel so welcome and I especially loved that when I walked in they were making someone else's coffee but i still was greeted and told kindly they'd be with me shortly. It's definitely a breath of fresh air when someone acknowledges you even though they're in the middle of taken care of someone else. Truly appreciate the wonderful customer service! Definitely will be back in sometime. I noticed the ambiance of the shop and it was so cozy and peaceful. Lots of places to sit and enjoy your drink or treats. Such a great space! Even the outside seating was awesome.
Let's start with the amazing ... the affogato was amazing, perfect with the espresso and ice cream.. this is definitely a big recommendation !! The vibe was calm and serene and love the industrial lighting and decor! Nice selection of food offered although I didn't eat anything at the time. Merchandise is offered from shirts to coffee to even beanies. I did get the Espana latte and honestly wasn't impressed. I feel as if I could barely taste the espresso and felt as if I was just drinking a sweetened milk steamer.. will that being said I will definitely return but will try something other than the Espana, maybe the smores shaken espresso that was truly calling my name !
This is one of the best, possibly THE best local coffee shop in Indy. It's cozy but with plenty of tables, great if you are meeting someone over coffee. Everything they make is great from the drinks to the food, and service is always good as well. I got the very berry spritz refresher, which was delicious and you could tell it was made with fresh berries (much more natural than Starbucks refreshers but just as good). My husband always gets the triple B latte, which is one of their signature drinks. There is lots of parking available as it's located in a strip mall with a big lot. If you're looking for a local coffee spot, definitely give this place a try.
I was coming home from an apartment tour and I noticed Brickhouse Coffee from the road, so I had to stop by for a latte. OMG!! When I walked into the shop, the sight of a huge coffee grinder grinding coffee beans for fresh coffee caught my attention and I fell in love instantly. I went up to the counter and noticed the summer menu on the shelf. The raspberry Rhubarb latte instantly caught my eye, and I was able to make it a matcha latte with oat milk. The baked goods looked phenomenal, and decided to go with the lavender Lemon Scone. The ambiance of Brickhouse Coffee is very relaxing and comfortable, and very heartwarming. I loved the decor and the wood paneling on the walls. The coffee grinder grinding coffee beans is the best feature of the coffee shop. The baristas were very nice and professional and answered all questions I had on the menu. They provided excellent customer service. The raspberry Rhubarb latte was probably the best beverage I have had in a while. It was made with love and care and high quality! I could taste the raspberry and the rhubarb right away. The lavender Lemon Scone was incredible and amazing. The texture of the scone was perfect and pure heaven. Having explored coffee shops around Indy, I would definitely say by far that Brickhouse Coffee is my #1 favorite coffee shop in Indianapolis. The beverages are truly done to perfection by the staff and their pastries are very fresh and taste incredible. The ambiance is exceptional and has a lot to offer to the customer. You can watch the coffee being made in the huge coffee grinder while enjoying a beverage. Everyone needs to check out Brickhouse Coffee if you are in the Geist area for a cup of coffee and a pastry. It is time well spent and worth the price you pay for a cup of coffee or beverage.
Wow!! The service was great. I've been trying new coffee shops in this area- this one specifically has topped them all! My sister, nephew, & I tried a variety of things between two separate days & we had no complaints! We saw the same barista both days & she even remember specific things about our order! For example I'm gluten free & she remembered for my breakfast sandwich. They also roast their own beans - we got to see part of the process the second visit we had there! They have the yummiest gluten free & regular food items! The oatmeal cream sandwiches are a must try (GF & vegan). My family who isn't GF couldn't tell & said they were delicious! We also tried a couple breakfast sandwiches, muffins, scones, & coffee cake. ** Barista said baked fresh daily! ** As for the coffee / drinks - omg so good! My nephew tried the bottled beverages - root beer, strawberry milk, & chocolate milk (all super yummy & tasty)! My sister tried the honeycomb shaken espresso - the best shaken espresso either of us have had! I had seasonal summer camp latte (such cute names) - which is a marshmallow latte with oat milk made with triple b shots! I also tried the matcha- an iced matcha lemonade & it was the perfect combination of sweetened, refreshing, & lemonade! The coffee shops itself is located in a shopping center- so tons of parking & outside seating options! It's adorable inside, chalkboard menu, bean roaster in the cafe! Window seating, tables, and a little lounge area with comfy seats! I look forward to the next time I'm in Indy - so I can visit this cafe!
This is a great spot to grab coffee or breakfast. We were welcomed with friendly service and I use to go to this coffee shop a fair amount when they were located in Greenwood. I ordered a drink off their spring menu, which was a hazelnut cold brew with a carmel cold foam. I enjoyed the cold brew, and really liked the hazelnut flavor. They make their syrups in house. The cold foam was a bit off, as it was not really a foam and you couldn't enjoy it with the type of lid they used. I'm not sure if this is how the cold foam usually looks, or if it was an off day. I didn't order food today, but their display case of baked goods looked delicious! They also have sandwiches that can be ordered.
I really liked this place. Staff was super friendly, the store is cute, and the coffee I got was amazing. I got a "Triple B Caramel Latte." The coffee beans they use for this drink have been aged in a bourbon barrel and they gave the coffee a wonderful flavor. It was very sweet and complex. As a coffee nerd I loved it and I've never had anything like it at any other shop.

The drinks were good. They also have some other things to choose like cinnamon roll, milk, juice and no coffee drinks. I took couple of photos to show inside the store. Nice neighborhood and not noisy at all. The staffs are nice. read more

My hair stylist just moved in next door to this cozy coffee shop. She recommended I grab a cup while I was up there (I drive over an hour to see this stylist) so I did! And I was definitely not disappointed! This quaint little building was so welcoming. I received a "hello" from all 3 people working, smiles from them all, and recommendations from them as well. I ordered my stylist her usual (see the photo for the latte art!). I ordered their Cafe Meil and it was delicious. The honey flavor wasn't overpowering yet you could taste it. The cinnamon flavor warmed my throat but in a good way. The drink has an almost butterscotchy flavor like those little hard candies my Nana used to have. I will definitely be back for coffee from this little shop. And next time, I'll grab better photos! read more

Great location and decent amount of seating. Menu consists of the usuals you'd expect at a coffee shop. I came for the cinnamon roll. The frosting looked absolutely delicious. I was worried that they kept them cold as I was thinking this would cause them to be hard and dry. Unfortunately I was correct in my assumption because the roll was terrible. I loved the cream cheese frosting I'm sure that's homemade but the roll just ruined it. Also didn't have much cinnamon, I think they should serve them warm but that's just me. I got an iced latte it was good. I'd come have a cup of coffee and skip the food for now read more
COVID Times **Mask required for entry** Brickhouse Coffee is a welcomed addition to the Fall Creek/79th Street area, as it is lacking in a variety. Highlights: * Still under a sort of soft opening. * Located a few stores down from Kroger but right before A'more. Old timers will might remember it as part of the Hallmark store way back in the day. * Hours are somewhat limited, as they are currently only opened from 7 am - 1 pm *They usually offer a gluten free baked good. It seems to vary on the day, the banana bread and muffin weren't actually that bad. They were flavorful, moist, and held their consistency, which can be a challenge with GF baked goods. * Nice large seating area with multiple tables. Post covid, I could see coming in an working remotely for an hour or two to just get out of the house * Wifi is available * Milk options are a bit unique, especially for non-dairy. Non-dairy options are Coconut and Oat Milk. *** Surprisingly the Oat milk is GF, which is both rare and great. * They have setup a loyalty program, purchase 10 drinks, get one free. Just enter your phone number at the cash register. * If you only drink Starbucks, you might find the coffee a bit bitter. While the cup sizes are smaller, I find I can make my drink last much longer due to the strength and heaviness than a cup of watered down mass produced crap. Overall, I'm happy to see a new non-chain business open up in the area, especially during these times. Make sure to check them out. read more

Brickhouse is a welcomed cozy spot in a sea of generic Starbucks. Don't get me wrong, you'll see me in the drive through of a Bux on the way to work, but its so nice to have a local coffee shop with a cozy seating area to nestle in and chat. Brickhouse is just that! The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff are friendly. Be warned, their coffee is STRONG! They have the standard syrups - vanilla, hazelnut, caramel, but they also have seasonal specialty drinks. My husband and I visited this weekend to try the Spring drinks they just launched - orange blossom salted mocha latte, and honey rosewater latte. Both were excellent! Brickhouse also have bagel breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches which are wonderful and filling. read more

Inconsistent drinks. The staff barely cares. I really love the cafe miel but it never tastes the same. Today my large looked like a small in a large cup. It's good coffee. I got a banana bread mini loaf today and bit into a ball of flour? It was awful I spit it out. read more

What a great little coffee shop! I wanted a place that I could study and this is definitely the place. Lots of seating options all around, pretty quiet even when it's crowded. It has a great ambiance and delicious coffee! Bonus points always for having more than one gluten free and dairy free option to choose from! I was definitely be back! read more
Excited to have a nearby local coffee spot. Staff was friendly and gave us good options for our coffee selection today. If you like cinnamon rolls this is a place to checkout. Smothered in cream cheese icing and enormous. The flavor is perfect and I can't wait to have another of their house made goodies. Noticed they have a lunch menu to try next. read more

Super spacious coffee shop with a lot of seating. When I went, we were the only customer so we're able to take our time deciding what we wanted to drink. I went for their seasonal hazelnut and cinnamon latte and my husband ordered the triple b caramel latte. Both drinks were very good. The triple b caramel latte has bourbon barrel aged espresso shots, so it was definitely a nice twist to a latte. The parking lot was incredibly icy and slick. I thought it was worth noting that a young mom came in carrying her young child and must have ordered two coffees. But because it was so slick, the barista walked the coffee out to her car with her because she was holding her child and she wanted her to be safe. I thought that was a super nice gesture. read more
This place is a local gem!!! They have gluten free muffin options, kombucha and cold brew on tap, homemade lavender syrup (try a lavender vanilla latte with oat milk!!), homemade chai tea, relaxing atmosphere, outlets everywhere for those dying laptops, easy listening music that isn't too loud, and lots of space/seats!!! This is definitely a new favorite of ours!!! They have some pretty sweet merchandise too!! read more

I love the cozy atmosphere of Brickhouse from the homemade baked goods homemade syrups and delicious coffees. Brickhouse has so much to offer and the prices can't be beat. They are a must do on my morning drive! read more
This is one of my favorite neighborhood spots that happens to be located in a strip mall adjacent to Kroger. Lucky for me, it's really close to home and convenient. I've been here twice so far and had excellent service both times. The food highlights for me are the banana bread and the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. The banana bread is moist and so perfectly flavored. You really can't go wrong with any of the coffe drinks. Huge bonus, they have a wide array of flavored syrups and seasonal flavors for your drinks which gives them the opportunity to create interesting items like the Old Fashioned inspired iced espresso I enjoyed on this visit. The interior is comfortable and a perfect spot to work or meet with a small group. I'll be back again and again. read more

When we heard the Greenwood shop was closed, we were so disappointed. The news of them still roasting locally was one reprieve. I have a brother in Greenwood and this was our meeting spot. Now I find out they are just a few miles from my daughter's house (I go there way more often) and this brought about much excitement! Ask Jared, the owner, about the mission of his family-run business. Now to the review ~ there is something special about this family owned, local business that is special. The coffee, locally roasted by them, is wonderful. There is a richness that is not a part of the green mermaid place. If you order an espresso based drink, it will be skillfully made and designed to please your palate. I was there during their soft-opening but it was still a pleasurable experience. read more

this coffee shop is probably my favorite coffee shop near me! I found them randomly when they were in greenwood and bless my soul they landed only a 10min drive from me! ots a regular stop for me! I've taken home some of the fresh beans, I can get kombucha there, and even small snacks are offered. there is a small breakfast and light lunch menu offered and ive had food off both menus with no disappointments. they have the BEST chai in the city!!! its a staple for me when i go! I've suggested Brickhouse to my bosses from the near by hospital and they enjoy it as much as I do! read more

The staff is beyond friendly and knowledgeable. Lauren is always very kind and helpful. She's made suggestions and has made a few of her favorite drinks for myself and my girlfriend. The atmosphere is incredible. The Triple B beans are out of this world. I love that they make their own syrups and have rotating seasonal ones. It's very unique. My favorite(s) are the matcha latte with lavender or vanilla syrup with oat milk and the Triple B vanilla latte with oat milk. Their decaf is even full of flavor. Ugh just the best flavored beans/coffee in the state PERIOD. read more
