Instead, it felt like I paid gourmet prices for a child-sized frozen pizza slice that had been sitting in the car too long. Completely overpriced for what was delivered. This isn't just adaptive reuse; it's resurrection with a purpose. We sat at our table, sunlight pourimg through tall windows that once lit up the hands of laborers, now brightening the faces of customers. The garage doors at both ends open up, erasing the boundary between inside and out, making the warm, salty Bristol air as much an ingredient as anything coming from the kitchen. The four meatballs came first. No breadcrumbs here. These are unapologeticly all meat, with just enough spice to get your attention. Pan-fried. The sauce tastes like someone's mom might have had a hand in it rather than a corporate chef. They are bright, herbaceous, present. A cloud of ricotta melts slowly under everything. It's a simple appetizer done right, which is sometimes harder than it sounds. Then the pizza arrives, the real litmus test. The crust has the marks of Neapolitan tradition, leopard spots of char that come from serious heat. The back crust is beautifully developed, airy and substantial. There's a hint of semolina that adds a bit of texture and nutty flavor that lingers after each bite. But here's the issue - the center is so thin it immediately fails under the weight of its burden. And what a burden it is. The cheese isn't just generous; it borders on excessive. The sauce, which showed real promise with the meatballs, becomes a footnote, barely detectable beneath the dairy avalanche. Cup-and-char pepperoni curls into perfect little grease holders, but even their salty punch struggles against the cheese. It's as if two different philosophies are at war on the same plate. The crust wants to be Italian - light, dignified, eaten with cutlery. The toppings are bold, excessive, demanding to be folded and by hand or become evacuated. The result is a structural compromise - a pizza that can't bear the weight of its own ambition. And at 12 inches across, you'll need to order a couple for a group with any appetite. Couldn't stay away for too long so had to go back here this past weekend. I ordered some of the same things as last time but also tried some new and everything was delish. We also didn't have a reservation but regardless of how busy they were we were able to get seated within 10 minutes of waiting. Cesar salad- again, probably one of the best I have ever had. I LOVEEEE how large the lettuce is and it's so crispy and fresh. (10/10) Pepperoni pizza- sounds so simple but the pepperoni flavoring on this was so good. This is the type of pizza that you can eat cold a day later and it tastes even better. (9/10) Gnocchi a la vodka- this pasta was literally insane. it wasn't too filling so I literally felt like I could eat the entire bowl. It was so addicting. Brick Pizza, I really want to love you -- and honestly, I kind of do, just not in the head-over-heels way I hoped. The space is beautiful, and the mill plaza really lends itself to a nice evening out. For a date night every now and then, it's a great spot. The pizza is good, but for me, the prices are a bit high for the quality of the pie, which makes it tough to justify a casual visit, or take out. Still, I'm glad you're around, and that Crab Rangoon pizza will still get you five stars. I'm grateful to have you around, Brick, and I will be back for that Rangoon pizza. Struck gold there. A couple of suggestions, and this is just one person's opinion, but the red sauce could use a little something. Also, the meatball appetizer could be improved, or the price decreased in my opinion. My friends and I came here after a Saturday night in Warren. We were hoping for good pizza and left feeling like we didn't get their best. We were seated and had to wait a bit for our server to come over and greet us. In addition, once we got our food it was nearly impossible to get his attention again. We ordered chicken wings which were delicious but all of our pizza's fell short. The dough was basically raw and the toppings had no flavor. I would cut them some slack if it was super busy but when we got there only 7 or 8 tables were taken. Absolute favorite Italian place in Bristol. Have gone here many times for dine in and takeout, and I have always had a great experience. Everything from their garlic bread, margarita pizza, chicken parm, their drinks, and all their speciality pizzas are amazing. It is a little pricey for what you get but it's worth it. Wow!! Great all around! I had never been here before but came with a few friends after work for drinks. Passion fruit martini?? I HIGHLY recommend it. It was so good, I had two! We all opted for pizza, I got the ricotta with mushrooms (I don't remember the actual name of the pizza) and it was delicious. We also got a veggie pizza and a Margherita pizza, and both were delicious. The service was very good, very solicitous. I loved the ease of paying the bill - quick and efficient! When we first got in, there weren't a lot of people. We sat at a high top near the bar and it was great with the big tv screens on - great for watching the Olympics games! We were introduced to Brick Pizza Co. through RI Food Fights #BestPizzaRI challenge. It is a large restaurant with private event space in a historic building in Bristol. We went at a weird time on a Sunday afternoon during a Patriots game so the restaurant was not very busy. Because we were using our Food Fights coupons, we were given the option of cheese or pepperoni. We both selected pepperoni. WOW! This pizza was perfect with its pillowy crust & super thick cut Rosa Grande pepperoni. I am a very picky crust eater so I may eat some of the crust on my first piece of pizza but I rarely eat the crust on additional pieces. I ATE ALL THE CRUST!!! It was soft, warm, yummi - kinda like a bread stick - but the pizza itself held up under all the delicious cheese & pepperoni yumminess! Food was good once we got the correct order. Clean, comfortable atmosphere. Well done design and decor. Fun looking bar area with 2 TV's and garage doors for outdoor eating. Assuming they finished conversation first bartender went to type order in, next thing we know second bartender came to ask what the second drink was. Drinks were then brought and second girl came back shortly after to take food order. Food was served and guess what? Ordered spaghetti and meatballs but got shrimp and linguine. Server then brought wrong order over to bar to notify them of mistake. As first bartender was walking by, she blamed kitchen, supposedly it was entered right and said she was heading to the kitchen. Never another word, no apology no conversation until a young man from kitchen delivered spaghetti and meatballs. Bartenders never checked to see if food was correct or if we needed anything else. We ate salad as app then split dinner. Food was very good! Good portion sizes. We ate and stacked dishes when were finally seen and asked for bill. Check was handed out but then waitress returned to explain that it was the first bartender who made era not the kitchen. Too late to talk about it. Why care now? Tip time? That was my first thought. I left 10% and was struggling leaving that. Very bad service. Mistakes happen but apologies and recognition that we ate 2 meals at different times rather than together. No offer for a drink on the house for the inconvenience, no discount, no apology we just waited until second order was cooked. No follow up. Sorry, I have worked in restaurants all my life, that was unacceptable. I feel communication is key. Your mistake... make it right verbally. Then follow up physically. I was a paying customer. Went back today for the first time since my last review. Brought a friend who had never been there. Ambiance is still great Service is awesome. They still didn't have the Gotham cocktail back on their latest menu but the bartender (Riley I think) offered to make it for me...YAY! Had the Espresso wings and they were unreal...especially the sauce. My buddy had a crab rangoon pizza which he said was fantastic. I had the roast chicken with collard greens and bacon which was awesome. Glad to see this menu had some greatness. Will be back soon for sure. read more

We used Brick Pizza Co.'s stone room for our rehearsal dinner in May 2025. If you are getting married near Bristol this is the best place to have a rehearsal dinner! My husband and I wanted a relaxed rehearsal dinner where everyone was able to connect and talk. The space is perfect for this style of event. The food is absolutely amazing!!! I also have a gluten and dairy allergy and they were able to make me my own meal separate from the buffet! During our rehearsal dinner we also played a video on their projector and were able to have other join once the dinner was over. We've come 2 times now, the first time was in the Winter with some friends. The ambiance was great and the place was lively. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. One person did have to send their dish back to get warmed up again, it was a pork special and was cold. We came back again yesterday, and had a subpar experience. The first time we thought cold food was an off thing, but seems like there is a deeper issue. They offer a great gluten free crust and everyone who was sharing the gluten free pizza enjoyed it. However my husband had a bone in a piece of chicken that was on the buffalo pizza. Someone else in our party ordered the veggie pizza. It was undercooked and the veggies were hard, she said the butternut squash was really hard. We were able to grab our server, she was easy going and let them reorder a different pizza. When the shroom pizza arrived it was not cooked all the way through, so she requested it to be cooked longer. I enjoyed my regular crust Bristol pizza. Spicy and yummy crust. It seems as though based on both our experiences and other reviews there is an issue with quality from the kitchen. I happen to go there with a friend on Saturday night. We sat at the bar and we ordered drinks and a pizza he got his drink ,mine came a half an hour later . we ordered the veggie pizza. The girl came over and said here's your veggie pizza. We looked at it. It was all mushrooms. It was the wrong pizza, but we didn't say anything we just assumed that that was the Pizza. The bartender finally came over with my drink. It was absolutely ridiculous. We ate the pizza and then about an hour and a half later the bartender came back and said your pizza will be right out well like what are you talking about we just had the pizza he said the veggie pizza it's still in the system. It's on the way out. I said we already ate. Thank you by that time I was really kind of angry. The service was terrible and they ended up eating our pizza in front of us at the end of the bar. This has always been a favorite(safe) place for me to go to. I love sitting at the bar watching a Red Sox, Celtics or Bruins Game. I am recently widowed and was dismayed at the rude manner in which I was treated on a recent Sunday afternoon. I had asked the female bartender if she'd poured me a 6 or 9 Oz glass of wine. It was all downhill from there. I must have insulted her; she had not used a measuring pour and I thought it looked skimpy. It was downhill from there. She ignored me after I put in my dinner order, never asked if I needed anything and was very attentive to all the boys who sat at the bar(probably not spending what I dropped at BRICK.) This was our second and last visit to this restaurant. There is no real ambiance. It's big wide open and environmentally cold. The food was lacking in all manners of speaking. We ordered garlic knots which were undercooked and bland, the marinara was good it was the only good thing. We ordered Cesar salads which were never delivered despite two reminders to our waitress. The special of the day pizza A butternut squash and balsamic glaze fig was ordered. The crust was burnt as was the underside when questioned if this was normal the waitress explained all their pizzas are brick oven and look that way. Yet as we saw the two pizzas delivered at the table beside us were not at all burnt which I pointed out to our waitress she was completely indifferent. We canceled the salads and had them removed from our invoice. I'm not sure most have salad as dessert. overall this experience was lacking any appeal. Great night out with another couple at Brick Pizza Co. It was suggested by our friends who we met up with at the restaurant. Nice experience, good looking place, we had the greens salads and Shroom pizza to share. The ambience is lively with great architecture, naturally brick might be expected but the wood beamed ceiling and large open space really feels cozy even though it's a big space. Enough about the decor!There's very good Brick oven pizza here! I would have ordered another but I'll definitely be going back. Greens Salad was delicious, I only had it to be healthy but it was truly delicious with goat cheese and generous amount of walnuts, glad I went for it. I think this place would be a good choice for a large group but also perfect for a small group. Apparently reservations are a must on weekends. Great, friendly, courteous service. After many months of good intentions to try this place, I finally succeeded in getting here. It was way too hot to grill tonight so here we are. No regrets making this decision. I checked the reviews before coming here. Majority were 5 and 4 stars. I also pay attention to the 3s and 2s, if there are any. Thankfully there were not too many and the I felt like the comments did not have real merits. May be they were having a bad day and take out their frustrations on the waitstaff? All restaurants have a few bad days, but if you see a place with above 4 average by the majority Yelpers, particularly the Elites, you are pretty safe. What impressed me the most is the space. I know what the place looked like before it had a roof. It was a complete industrial waste land. What a beautiful transformation! I am happy and proud to have a nice place like this in Bristol. There are only a handful of places that I can think of in Bristol to bring my family or out of town guests. I will be adding this place on that list. The decore definitely gets a 5. The food is also 5 - hmm wait, maybe 4.5. My Buca with locally sourced clams with pancettas were excellent. The pasta were made locally here and cooked to al dente - perfectly done. One thing I noticed, though the thickness of the pasta varied a lot, perhaps leading to a different degree of doneness as I ate the pasta. This is perfectly fine for me for hand turned pasta. It happens to all of them, unlike the commercial pasta extruded from giant industrial machine with very precise diameter. It was perhaps a little too salty, even for me, because when you have a combo of clams from the sea, and salt cured pancetta, thats a lot of salt already in the sauce. Other than that, I think it was well balanced with fresh made bucatini, olive oil, garlic, and bits of tarragon. The pizzas - veggie and buffalo chicken pizza coming out of a brick oven at a high temp, is the way to make pizzas. Generous portions of cheese in both. Veggie pizzas had tons of veggies on top. The only downside to the plethora of fresh veggies - it gets soggy in the middle from all the juices that fresh veggies exudes. Raw tomatoes and mushrooms in particular, produce water when cooked. Maybe they can squeeze the ingredients a bit more before putting the pies in the oven or use sun dried tomatoes? I personally like the thickness of the pie - thicker than a typical flatbread and thin crust but less than a deep dish. There are may be about a dozen or more of local RI micro-brew beer on tap. Love it. They have a decent selection of wine also to go with mostly Italian small and big plates. The menu is not extensive but it does not need to be. It's an upscale pizza joint with a few dinner options. I will definitely come back again to try out other dishes. read more
