I saw this place on bar rescue and really really wanted to like this place. When you walk in, it doesn't feel like anything except a bar. Nothing memorable or notable in the least. The music was pretty loud for a lunch crowd but I was OK with that. The bartender was super nice I will give her that. That's about where the good comments stop. I got the jalapeño poppers and some sort of a crispy chicken salad with a sweet hot sauce on it. Technically, I think they called it some type of Thai salad. There were maybe five or six poppers and all tasted like they were straight from the frozen food bag. One of them was cold and the other five were hot as lava. Really no taste to the poppers. It seems like you would find something similar at Taco Bell. There was technically nothing wrong with the Thai chicken salad but again it was nothing to remember. The chicken was overcooked and too crispy but at least the lettuce was fresh. I tend to judge places based upon my expectations and the cost. In my opinion, the prices were too high for what you get. Everyone in the bar was a guy and they were all sitting at the bar and they all seemed to know the bartender. I think it's more of a local hang out that's convenient for some people rather than a destination. It's unlikely I'll go back. read more

We only came to this resturaunt because we were in the area. We knew nothing about it before going in. The service wasn't great. It took forever for the waiter to come back, whenever he left to get us water or bring our meal/ect. we had to wait forever. When dropping off our meal we asked for ranch, he said he'd be right back, but he never showed up. The food was ok. My favorite was probably the Mac and cheese bites. I was excited about the rosemary fries but they were a giant let down and I couldn't eat much. There was a literal handful of dried herbs that came with my fries and it was obviously so overpowering. Review Upon entering this establishment there is 3 bartenders and not one of them great you. You can immediately tell that the people at the bar are their regular clientele and that is their only concern. Not sure why my husband and I decided for the 3rd time to come back here and give this place a try. My husband had to go up to the bartender and get menus and order our Bloody Marys. We were sitting outside where the tables must not have been cleaned since their bar rescue premiere. After sitting outside for over 15 mins. We go inside cause it's obvious that we are not going to get service. After moving inside we watch the bartender continue to make drinks for the 5 people at the bar until she finally realized that she has yet to make our drinks and finally makes it. My niece orders a mimosa flight that is advertised on the menu and the bartender says they don't have it. Why is it still on the menu? Who knows. The bartender cares more about making and taking shots at 10:30AM then actually taking care of guests then making my niece her drink that she ordered 30 mins ago. Several times I stood up almost ready to cancel our food order because it was just no longer worth it to sit there while she partied with her regulars. The food comes after about 45 mins and hungry man breakfast my husband orders states on menu that comes with pancakes, the pancakes that were brought were silver dollar and literally looked like they just opened them from the freezer and microwaved them. The wings my niece ordered were garlic hot and they had neither. Doesn't get us silverware for awhile or any wet naps for the wings. The whole experience was just dreadful and can't understand how this place is still open? This bartender is definitely worse than the blonde bartender we had on Saturday morning. I can officially say after giving this place a chance 3 times. They are consistent with they way they act. Bar rescue did not turn this place around. You can change the way the place looks but this mother daughter bar place attitude will never change. Nobody wants to see on the monitor the chicks showing off their assets, if they want to do this there is a place for this, it's called a strip club. Went to this place for the first time today and it exceeded my expectations! Really friendly staff and customers. Met lots of fellow Michiganders watching and cheering on the Lions! Came here because he had met here for lunch with clients and said he had some tasty barbecue sliders and part of the conversation was that this business was part of a program called "Bar Rescue" so I agreed we might as well check it out. Quieter than anticipated for a Saturday night. Limited menu but the selections are a bit creative for a bar. I don't know what it was like here prior to the renovation/revamp. Well lit, nice looking bar area. There were a few high tops and picnic tables with benches instead of your basic dining table. Added a nice touch. Came here for a late dinner and although it was slow to get service our server was very polite, helpful and informative. My husband ordered a Margarita and I was encouraged to have a taste before I ordered one for myself since they didn't have Grand Marnier necessary to make it a Cadillac. It was alright but I opted to go with a basic mixed drink since I felt their microbrew selection was limited. I had the Chicken Fingers and he had the Thai Chicken Wrap. Chicken Fingers were heavily battered and crispy. They were okay but I was more in the mood for lightly battered tenderloins. My fault for not inquiring. Thai Chicken Wrap looked yummy and sloppy juicy. Seems he couldn't eat a portion without wearing some of it. I would say the service was probably the best part about our visit here. Food was okay, drink selection was okay, but neither are going to draw me back anytime soon. read more

We came here for the first time and it's right by our house so we wanted to try it out. It's a great bar setup with two pool tables, a dart board, golf game, and great music. They have an extensive draft list as well as bottles and cans. The real winner here though was the food we got!!! We cannot say enough how good the wings were. We got 12 wings split sauces with half Whitney wings and half Honey Hot. The Whitney wings were the best wings we've had in a looooong time it's such a unique flavor profile and mix of spicy and sweet 10/10 recommend. The honey hot could've used a little more sauce but we're still so flavorful. The service was good not great but the owner walks around and serves as well and she's so nice, came and chatted with us. You really get the feeling you're in a hometown bar and I will definitely be coming here again. It took an hour... an hour(!) to get a single cocktail at the bar, pay with cash, and get change. Shift change during happy hour and the place comes to a complete halt? That my friends is bull$h!t. Don't come here... just don't. [UPDATE] When I posted my original review, I was surprised to get a reply from Whitney, the manager. She said she appreciated my advice, they were making my adjustments to their shift change, and that the day I was there a big UFC event was going on, so it wasn't the normal happy hour crowd. She hoped I would take a chance on going there again sometime. Well, I told her I would give it another shot, and because I'm fair, I would update my review afterwards. Soooo... I went back for lunch with about 7 coworkers. We more than doubled the customer count at that time, so they were not very busy. Our server was a very nice and very attentive young lady. Everyone ordered food and beverages and I ordered the Nachos, because they were at the top of the menu and listed as the house specialty. The food was very slow coming out of the kitchen, and I didn't even get my nachos until after everyone else was done eating and about ready to leave. When we walked in there we felt uncomfortable, not lady friendly. There was no drink menu. The lady who initially spoke to us was not friendly at all. She seemed put out when i asked for a cocktail suggestion. It was awkward so I settled for vodka and soda. She also gave us one menu to share which made deciding what to order more time consuming. She was also extremely loud and annoying from behind the bar. After that we were served by a friendly guy, Nick I believe. He took our food order. Service was good from him. Food wasn't great. This place just keeps going down hill. Stopped by to have some drinks and play some shuffleboard and the place was dead. This has always seemed to be the case except during football games when the place fills up a bit. The night we were there they were out of A lot of things behind the bar. Even Jack and that is never a good sign. The food we ordered could have come out better as well. We ordered chicken tenders that were small rubbery and lacked a resemblance to real meat. Honestly I liked the actual place and layout but there was a bartender that I purchased a drink from and tried to take my ID (because i am originally from oregon) but finally after "investigating" for a while, she finally gave it back. She then proceeded to make the worst drink imaginable lmao. side note, I am 23, my friend is 22 and I had her try a sip asking how terrible she thought the drink was, and later this bartender starts asking around everyone on the floor for ID's, eventually getting to my friend and then says she needs to take her ID away because she thinks it's fake (of course it wasn't) she made an incredibly hostile environment and it made my group very uncomfortable. if it wasn't for her, the place would have been very enjoyable. I wish I had gotten her name but she has brown hair maybe she wears them in buns every night, wore green and looked very easy to draw. I get being cautious but I don't want to feel threatened at a bar by the freaking staff. She made this place a one star. Will not go again because of her. read more

Came here to have dinner but red flags started as soon as we hit the door. Service was some of the worse I have ever had. It wasn't the fault of the waitress, you can tell management is not doing their jobs training staff and keeping up with the place. There were center peices stacked up in the corner where they should have been out. PAtrons had to call over the staff who seemed to enjoy being behind the bar more than attending to customers. It you are known, you seemed to have gotten service alot faster. We were never even asked if we wanted a menu. Drank our beer, and skipped the meal and left. Went somewhere else to eat. I ordered off of GrubHub and while the delivery time was fine, the product was disgusting. My boyfriend got the jalapeno popper burger and I got the Jack Daniel's burger. Both burger patties were dry and burned to the point that the char taste overpowered the other flavors. The burgers were literally inedible. I don't mean we ate it all then complained about it online. I mean the burgers are in the trash after a couple bites. Both burgers sounded amazing and we were excited to try this place - what an utter let down. Plus I got the garlic fries and it was literally a tablespoon of minced garlic dumped on top of some mushy fries and a sprinkling of parmesan cheese. I've never seen a place that didn't toss the fries in whatever flavoring so that it was evenly distributed, that lump of garlic was disgusting even when I tried to mix it up. read more

This bar is amazing ONLY when Cooper is there. He is friendly and social. Greets us every time and by name. He remembers my boyfriend's usual and always recommends drinks for me. All of the other bartenders are rude, sit around, and give terrible service (and then they wonder why they don't get tipped well). When the female bartenders are in, we are never greeted. They rarely check on the tables. And they NEVER know how to make any drinks we request. Last night when we came we were waiting for the bartender to come back around so we could order more drinks and she was sitting AT THE BAR talking! We ended up leaving. I will only come in and drink/eat when Cooper is there. Everyone else is just there to socialize, not work, and they give terrible service. read more
