I dealt with Mike Collins who my daughter and husband have dealt with before too. Mike was so honest and upfront and not wishy washy about the out the door pricing. Never trust their word about their used cars. I bought a used car from them, and in their advertisement, they claimed the car had no accidents or damage. The Carfax report they provided also stated that the car was accident-free. Additionally, they included a Blue Ford Certified warranty with the car for 3 months or 4,000 miles. They sold the car to me at the price of a "clean" car. However, before the warranty expired, I discovered the car had an oil leakage. I took it to several mechanics, and they informed me that the car had been in an accident. The previous owner had repaired the exterior for appearance but left significant internal damage unrepaired. These damages are estimated to cost me around $4,000 to fix. I informed the dealership, and they told me to use the warranty. While the warranty covered the oil leakage, it did not cover the accident-related damages. I asked to return the car, but they refused, saying, "It's your car now, and it's not our responsibility." They only offered to repurchase the car at a lower price based on its current condition, even though they had sold it to me at the price of a clean car. They refused to take any responsibility or contribute to the repair costs. They even suggested I contact Carfax for compensation, despite the fact that they are responsible for checking the car thoroughly before selling it. They also claimed to have changed the brakes, but only the front brakes were replaced, not the rear ones. Now, I'm stuck paying a significant amount of money to repair the car, all because I trusted them. I assumed buying a car from a dealership would be safer than buying from a private seller on Facebook Marketplace, but I was wrong. DO NOT trust them. They don't care about customer satisfaction--they only care about making a profit. If you're considering buying a car from them, make sure to have it inspected by a professional mechanic first. read more

I was going over my bill from Briarwood Ford (you know, the guys who could not rotate my tires because it was a dual rear wheel drive truck? ) and there, right on line G is a tire rotation for $89.95. So they charged me for it but didn't do the work. Golly, I'm not a lawyer but isn't that fraud? Briarwood Ford is my go-to dealership for service. Anytime I need an oil change, they can get me in quickly and offer a shuttle service that will drop me off and pick me back up from work. That is super convenient so I don't have to arrange a ride with anyone else. They also have a loyalty program where you can earn points towards money off of a future service. There's also a nice wait room with music, free Wifi, and baked goods. There was one occasion where I had an issue with my tire pressure a couple of days after I got a tire rotation and I was told to come back in with no appointment. They took a look at it and quickly resolved it with no charge. That's what you call great customer service! read more

I went to the deslership with one vehicle in mind but it had sold, instead I traded in my Jeep and picked up a great Used Taurus from Ruskin Tansel. It was late Friday and he made time for me and listened to what I wanted and didn't try to upsell on my decision, informed me of some great discounts and programs that saved money and got me a great price on my trade in, higher then two other dealers had offered which sealed the deal. He actually went above and beyond to meet them promises offered and I feel he meant it when he said if I needed anything or had any questions he was gonna be there. Around late 2018, I brought my newly-purchased (not from this dealership) 2018 Ford Escape in for service because during an oil change my mechanic saw a leak from the differential. I brought it to this dealership because the one I purchased it from was too far away. I explain to Andrea about the leak only to be met with an utterance of "If it's seeping that's not a leak." Not sure what that meant as it didn't even make sense. Then, she proceeds to talk about making sure I use the Motorcraft Synthetic Blend motor oil if I'm not bringing it to the Stealership, something that had nothing to do with the issue at hand. I get a call later that there WAS a leak and they fixed it. I pick up the vehicle. Later on, I take it back to the same mechanic for my next oil change around June 2019. The leak was not fixed. My mechanic said it actually looked worse. I emailed Jeff Steinbach, the service manager at the time, and explained the situation. He was really nice and asked me to bring it in the next day and he'd have a loaner vehicle ready for me. Jeff was really nice but he seemingly did not relay any of what we talked about to the service team. However, that doesn't excuse the response I got from Austin after he took my car back in, to be kept for a week, and I asked for my loaner. Me: "So I get the loaner now?" Austin: "Nooooooooooooo, I can't do that." What? That's what he said without so much as even checking if one was available. I almost lost it but told him that Jeff said there would be a loaner vehicle ready for me. After Austin checks, he finds out there were TWO loaners available. I feel bad for whoever else needed a loaner that day and didn't get one. I got my loaner, they kept my car for a week, and it was finally fixed. I will never return to this dealership since it lacks communication within, customer service, and integrity. I was lied to when they told me they fixed the leak the first time and I hate that. Facts: bought a used car at the start of the year and Briarwood put in a new battery. About 6 months later the battery fails. Briarwood was going to charge over $500 for a new battery. I said it should be covered by the dealership. They cut my bill to just under $300. I continued to protest. For weeks the service person I dealt with told me he would get a refund for me. Then it turns my service person no longer works for Briarwood. I asked again about the refund and was told NO. This is terrible customer service. BTW the new battery has a 3 yr warranty but no luck with the one they put in when I bought the car. Be very careful with these folks. Last time I bring my business to Briarwood. We have had GM vehicles for the last decade or so, but recently we purchased a used Ford Excursion because we wanted a diesel hauling vehicle. Since the vehicle was used, we wanted a nearby Ford dealer to check it out again, after it had been checked by the Ford dealer that sold it to us, just to be sure we weren't overlooking anything, and also to try to get the complete maintenance and repair records. We were surprised to find out that Ford does not seem to have a country-wide database of Ford repair shop records. That's what we were told, anyway. So we could not know for sure the maintenance that had already been performed. A really good reason to have another set of mechanics check the vehicle in case it needed anything done to it. So the once-over was complete, and it was time to pick up the truck. Hubby called the dealership on the way home, to be sure the place would still be open long enough for us to get there. Until 7:00 pm. We got there at 6:50 and found the door locked. Darn. But wait! As we headed out, we went around the OTHER side of the building (State Road near Mich. Ave.) there WAS a door that was open -- the Fast Lane Service entrance. Oh, we nearly went home not knowing the place truly was still open. Once we were let inside to pay and pick up the truck, we told the people still working inside that the other side of the building gave the misleading impression that the place closed up completely at 6:00 pm. So just keep that in mind if you need to pick up anything after 6 but before 7 on one of the nights they close early. They are open later than 7 on some nights of the week. I just had a peek at the website, and it is possible to schedule a repair over the internet. I told Hubby about this. He said he had tried to use the website, but the Excursion was not one of the choices, so he had to call to schedule the service. Keep that in mind, too. read more

Let me start with saying I bought my car at Gene Butman Ford in Ypsilanti. I know now that was probably a mistake. A week after I bought my Ford we noticed a clutch shutter and some problems with the transmission. I took my car in and of course they ran their diagnostics and noticed no problems. Well, three years later the transmission failed (it's under warranty.) so we call Gene Butman and they tell us they can service the car in two or three weeks. We called Briarwood. They told us immediately they can get us in. Andrea was our customer serine representative and she was nothing but nice, respectful and informative throughout my entire experience. I feel for the first time at a dealership like a valued customer. She let me know my transmission is covered and also told me she found evidence of a clutch shutter and would like to fix it! (Also under warranty.) I feel like I finally found a trusting dealership and am so happy I know where I will buy my next Ford! read more

This is specific toward the Briarwood Ford Collision Center, on Industrial in Saline. They do not have their own yelp page, so I'm going to assume they are under same ownership of Briarwood Ford Dealership. These are mostly toward the man at the front desk (forgot his name, works there all the time, walks with a cane and has a skin condition) 1. Rude and disrespectful. No empathy. Both mine and my husband's car got hit and runs in our apartment complex within a week of each other. This guy could careless...very rude and blunt and talk to us as if we were idiots. 2. They do not know their own procedures/or they're always changing them I guess. Last week, my husband called them, this is how the conversation went: H: Hi, we have a police report and insurance claim on my wife's car and would like to bring it in. Do I need to make an appointment? The Guy: Oh no, bring the car in whenever and we'll take a look at it for about ten, fifteen minutes. Then we'll schedule your car for a later day while we order parts. H: Perfect, I have a few errands to run and I'll be right there. When he shows up, this is how the conversation went: H: Hi, I called earlier. I brought in my wife's car for you to look at real quick. And to set up an appointment. G: That's not how we doing things. Are you prepared to leave your car here? You probably won't get it back for a few days, at least. H: Oh, sorry. The guy I talk to one the phone... G: ...was probably me... H: Ok, well maybe I misheard. So if I have you look at the car now, we won't get it back for a few days? G: yes H: Ok, well I guess we'll bring the car back when we both have the day off. Fast forward to yesterday (Monday), we bring the car in. Me: Hi, we called earlier... G: ...the one with Progressive? Me: yes... (Sends guy out to look at car...about five ten minutes) G: Ok, so you have a $500 deductible that is due at time of pick up. Me: We shouldn't, it's Broadform...insura... G:I go by what the insurance sends us, you have to take it up with them. Ok, so the earliest we can schedule you in is a week from today. Drop off at 7:30a. Me: so you're not keeping my car today?... G:...(looking at me like I'm an idiot)...no... See what I mean, this guy went back on what he originally told us, three times! 3. So my husband and I decided to take my car to Dusty's instead, since we took my husband's car there and had excellent customer service. We called, no problem getting us in. And We mentioned the issue with our insurance and the $500 deductible and the broadform. The guy said, oh no problem! We deal with progressive all the time. Sometimes they do that, but don't mean it. Don't worry, you won't be charged a $500 deductible. When we told him what the guy at Ford Collision said, Dusty's laughed! Couldn't believe the answer they gave us. So my point is, do not go to the Briarwood Ford Collision Center. 1. Customer service is awful. 2. They're not on the same page. 3. Either they don't know how to properly read insurance claim estimates or they were trying to get an extra $500 from us. Either way, not they get nothing from us or our insurance. read more

I cannot believe how horrific my experience here was. The week before Christmas, I took my car in for an engine light and rattling sound that had been going on for a few days prior because our service warranty stated to do so (always ALWAYS get the service warranty). I provided the service contract and information, expecting a claim to be filed whether or not there was something wrong. That evening, I was told the check engine light was just the car's computer needing an update. When I inquired about the rattling sound coming from the engine, I had to insist that the car be taken for a test drive (which was flag number one) and explained I had heard it as I drove the car to the dealership that day. The following morning I was told there was nothing wrong and they heard no sound and I paid $165 just to have it looked at. As I turned the car on to leave, I clearly heard the rattling sound. I should have gone back in right then, but instead drove home. Two days later, my partner informs me he couldn't even make it halfway to work because the car was shaking and multiple sensors were going off. We live a couple of miles down the road from Briarwood and the car made it a half mile before breaking down and needing a tow. I contacted the company in charge of my service warranty and discovered that a claim had NOT been filed for the original inspection. The service worker was shocked to see me as I walked in with my towed car and continuously claimed he didn't hear the sound (something he continued to do). It took FIVE weeks for our car to be fixed. The entire engine had to be replaced (a $6,000 fix that the service warranty thankfully covered). At every step of the process, there was a delay or a problem and an excuse. While I understand it was the holidays, there is no excuse for how long it took. We were promised an estimate on a Saturday after the car was towed to the shop on a Thursday and didn't hear anything until we called on Tuesday just to give you an idea of how poor the communication was. Further excuses lead us to contact the salesperson that sold us the car at a different dealership just to help us get Briarwood to do their job. Constantly, my partner and I were told we'd get a call on "x" day, and then we'd hear nothing. When confronted about the situation and how we felt our car should be more of a priority because of the unbelievable oversight by them and this service worker specifically, he condescendingly told me "every car is a priority". We've spent $1,000 on car rentals and have struggled throughout this entire process as this was our only vehicle (which they were entirely aware of), every update the last two weeks was "it should be ready" followed by "we don't have the parts and need to order". After five weeks, we finally picked up our car today and drove down the street two hours later to the grocery store only to hear a new and concerning rattling sound. This entire ordeal has impacted every part of my and my partner's life from our finances, mental and physical health, and our careers. And we're still dealing with this. I rarely write reviews and imagine this will be taken down at some point, but I will not let this horrible experience go unheard. I truly cannot recommend you go somewhere else enough. The incompetence and unprofessionalism are unmatched. When a fellow dealership warns you to never go back, that says a lot. read more

Vehicle brought in for recall service and tires in Feb 2021. Workmanship shoddy, hostile service advisor Nicole Cluckey, indifferent service manager Paul Mazzara, vehicle left outside with window down, advertised tire price match and tire rebate not honored, tires not properly balanced, parts missing, extra charges added to the bill to throw away paper towels according to Nicole, vehicle now throws error codes where it didn' going in. They had the vehicle for 3 days and when I asked why it took so long Miss Congeniality blamed it on me for asking to put on new tires while it was in for service. Sorry for spending an additional $650 at your business. Overall terrible service. I've bought two vehicles from this dealership in the past, now I won't spend another dime at this place. read more

About a month ago, I took my 2005 Taurus in for a routine oil change at Briarwood Ford Quick Lane in Saline per my Dad's (Leigh McBain) recommendation because he wanted to be sure my car was safe for me to operate and trusted the Quick Lane at Bill Brown in Livonia where he takes his cars. They completed the oil change and I went to pick it up and they failed to print me a Vehicle Report Card which surprised me since Bill Brown Quick Lane always tells me of anything that may be wrong with my vehicle (which is usually something given the age of the car), but I didn't think too much of it. A couple weeks ago, I started noticing a "low oil pressure" light flash on and off on my dash, but again, given the age of the car this is not too uncommon. Just to be sure, I told my dad who as some knowledge of cars and ended up getting my car to him in Livonia on Sunday (2/18). My dad quickly discovered that there was NO Oil in my car, dug deeper to realize that something was cross-wired and all the oil that was put into the car a month ago was gone. Being the last mechanics to work on my vehicle, this had to have happen at Briarwood Ford. With the large risk of the engine ceasing from having no oil or ability to get oil into the car, my dad would not allow me to drive it home. This was a predicament because myself, my Mom, Dad, and younger sister all have jobs and have to get to work and not being able to drive my car limited us tremendously. My dad promptly called the Quick Lane manager upon their opening at 7 am. The manager apologized and stated that he would call a tow truck to pick up my car from my Parent's house in Livonia and would go from there as far as timing and the diagnostics of my car. Two to three hours had passed and there was still no tow truck. The tow truck did come at about 11:00 am, and my dad called back after two hours of not hearing anything about the status of my vehicle and there was still no response. Finally, my dad called the front desk of Briarwood Ford sales, and the receptionist transferred him to the Manager right away. He said the car was in the process of being finished so someone could pick it up soon. I was able to pick up my car, and when I got there, I asked to speak to the manager about receiving a refund for $54.95 for the oil change that they messed up on. The manager told the front desk employee that he paid almost $300 to tow it from Livonia and he wasn't paying us anymore. I then asked to speak to the manager directly, and was immediately met with the fact of how much he paid and that it might not have even been their fault, due the the vehicles age and wear. I reminded him of their mistake and stated that my family and I have sacrificed time and money to get their mistake corrected, and the fact that they never got me a vehicle report card, which indicated that they knew they screwed up. He questioned about not receiving a vehicle report card, and began to look it up on the computer. He then escorted me to go get a refund. I obtained a full refund and the repair to the damage they caused, however I feel as though I was taken advantage of possibly due to my gender and age (female, 21). I was talked down to and treated like I didn't know what I was talking about and it was a struggle to be accommodated appropriately by the manager and mechanics. Needless to say, I will NEVER be going back here and will do research and think a lot about where I go to get my next oil change. read more

I brought my son's 2014 Fusion in for an oil change and tire rotation on Tuesday, May 9th. On Friday of that same week we drove the Fusion to Glen Arbor, Michigan for a family trip. 1/2 way to Glen Arbor the wrench symbol and check engine light came on. Now mind you this car was purchased from Briarwood Ford in November, 2016 and have had no issues or problems until two days after "the Works" was performed on the car. Upon arrival in Glen Arbor I called and spoke with Cory (my service advisor) who was the person who handled "the Works" performed on my son's car. I told her about the check engine light and the wrench light coming on during our drive to Glen Arbor. I told her I thought something must have happened when "the Works" was performed as we had never had any issues or problems of any kind with this car until that service appointment. I made a service appointment for Tuesday May 16th at 7am to have the engine light and wrench light repaired. We returned from Glen Arbor and drove the car with the warning lights still illuminated to Briarwood Ford on Monday, May 15th. We advised the service department that we needed to have the car repaired by Thursday May 18th so my son could drive it to Austin, Texas for his internship. Not once did anyone from Briarwood Ford call and advise what the problem with the car was. My husband had to continually call the Service Department only to be told the problem was transmission related and the person who works on transmissions was backed up. He was even told the car would not be repaired for ~30 days when this technician would be available. On Wednesday I was so frustrated with the lack of follow thru on the part of the dealership and service department that I personally picked up the car and drove it to Varsity Ford where it was immediately diagnosed by their outstanding service department. Within 30 minutes of me dropping off the car I had already received a call and text message from Varisty Ford with a diagnosis and estimate of when the car would be fully repaired. Varisty Ford repaired the car and had it returned to me fully functioning on Monday May 22nd free of charge. Because of Briarwood Ford's lack of responsiveness my son had to drive my "leased Focus" all the way to Texas. I have purchased and/or leased five different vehicles from Briarwood Ford only to be met with the worst service experience of my life. Because of this incident, I will NEVER purchase or lease another vehicle from Briarwood Ford. When my lease is, up I will purchase a new vehicle from Varsity Ford. I have told everyone I know about the horrible experience I received at Briarwood Ford and will post the same information on yelp and google. I am still in shock by the lack of service and follow up that came from your dealership from a long-standing customer like myself. read more

Recently went to buy a new Ford Fusion after checking out numerous other dealers and brands in the area. Definitely had the most courteous and quick service of any dealer we visited. We had the pleasure of working with Al Bell, who did a great job explaining the different options for the car available and was very clear on how much the car would cost. There was also no pressure to buy the car "at this instant" which was very much appreciated. Al worked with us to find the car trim we wanted and at a good price. After hours of online research, and after calling each of the local Ford dealerships, Briarwood Ford received my business for the purchase and programming of a new master key for my 2007 Ford F-150. As I only had one master key, all research indicated that I HAD to visit a dealership to have another master key created. The quoted price over the phone was $120, $50-100 less than any other dealership, hence Briarwood as my choice. The roundtrip distance to and from Briarwood was 18 miles. I left my home at 9:25 AM, arrived at 9:42 AM, left at 10:51 AM, and arrived home at 11:10 AM. The key worked as expected, and the total cost was $117.58 ($79.95 for labor, $35.50 for the key, and $2.13 in tax). On a whim, I stopped into my local hardware (less than 1 mile from my home) and asked: could you have cut and programmed a new master key from a single master, and if so, how much would it have cost and how long would it have taken? The answers: $75 and 5 minutes. Therefore: I spent $42 more, drove 17 miles further ($4 in gas), and spent 1 hour more of my time (at $50 per hour) to get a key made at Briarwood. This equates to losing $96. Also, Briarwood Ford made an amazing profit on the transaction, as the total time spent on my vehicle was approximately 10-15 minutes (check-in, programming, key cutting, check-out), but I was charged for a full hour of labor. I don't want any money back, or a service credit, nor do I want a refund of the difference, as I made what I thought was an informed choice as a consumer. I simply want my fellow consumers to know that you have options when it comes to something as critical as a key for the operation of your vehicle. read more

General Mgr had him remove it because of over MSRP offer today. Maybe GM is not telling owner the whole truth. I took my Ford Focus to get an oil change and tire rotation thinking I'll take my Ford to a Ford dealer. I had no issues with the hour and a half wait time from the Quick Lane without having an appointment. As I was backing out of the parking lot I noticed the loose change that was in my cup holder was greatly reduced. On closer inspection All the change except nickels and pennies had been taken! How sleazy and disrespectful of the service staff to steal loose change. With this level of despicable untrustworthiness, how can I trust their recommendation to replace a hose or brakes or tires or any other repair they want you to agree to. I would advise anyone thinking of taking their car to be serviced here make sure anything of value is removed before handing the keys over and getting a second opinion before agreeing to any "recommend repairs". I for one, will not be returning here with either of my Ford vehicles for any reason. read more

NOTE: This review is just for Quick Lane at Briarwood Ford. I have had no experiences with the sales department. I had the works package done to my car in late November. I came in the day before and asked what the wait time would be, and it quoted to be almost two hours. I asked if I could make an appointment, to no avail. Oil changes here are first come, first served. The man working the desk advised me to come in first thing in the morning the next day. They open at 7am, I arrived at 7:10. It still took nearly two hours to complete an oil change and tire rotation. The service was great, friendly desk people, it just took FOREVER. For a place named "Quick Lane," I was greatly disappointed. I would seriously consider offering appointments so that customers that are on a time schedule can get in and out quicker. I expect the service to take longer than those drive through places, but two hours was simply too much. On the positive side, they do offer a courtesy shuttle to customers who can't wait around. I had the day off, so I just brought a book and stayed in the lobby with the free coffee. I'll probably be back, but will either convince someone to go with me and drop off my car or use the shuttle. read more

I'm sad that I have to give this dealership such a low rating. My wife and I love Ford cars and I hope Ford can get us back as a customer. We love cars and can't help buying a new car every couple years. For my sins, we have experienced the service of many car dealerships. When we moved to Michigan we went to Briarwood and I liked our salesman (who is long gone). We bought 3 pricey vehicles from Briarwood, from that salesman in 4 years. We are loyal to a fault and our loyalty remained with Briarwood after our salesman left. Unfortunately it has been downhill since. A condescending attitude pervades from most of the employees there (my wife says "snooty"). Our fantastic credit rating deserves a better than a "take it or leave it" attitude from the finance rep. The last 4 vehicles we purchased since 2006 resulted in us going to other dealers. The last vehicle we purchased was not a Ford (made me kind of sad). After 25 years of cars we went outside the Ford family. Each time we gave Briarwood first crack (Loyal to a fault). Each time we felt like they had too much business to be bothered (snooty?). That may be case, however it would validate our reason for shopping somewhere. Our loyalty and desire for new cars deserves better. TWO EXCEPTIONS: 1) Paul and Andrea in service have always treated me well. 2) Facility is clean and the waiting room is comfortable. I received a quote from the dealership to fix the driver power seat track that was inoperable on my 2012 Escape $1800. I paid $99 for the diagnostic check. Took it to a local repair shop, for $388 they replaced the switch. I left a voice message for both Bill Brenke (the salesman that sold the car to me) and Jeff Steinbeck (repair department manager) stating my dissatisfaction. No one has contacted me. I had an amazing experience purchasing my Fusion with our salesperson Mark Garcia but today I had my first service on it - "the works" and I was disappointed. The oil life had to be reset by me, I was told it would be washed and vacuumed (on the sheet I got from Briarwood Ford AND gave the service tech when I dropped my car off) and it didn't happen. It may sound petty but if you're going to say you're going to do something, do it. If you can't or didn't, apologize and or explain. It is not convenient for me to go there but my purchase experience was so amazing I thought the service would be too. read more

I have been going to Briarwood Ford for the last few years for oil changes and regular maintenance, but I will not be returning after the service they most recently provided. I had a terrible experience and will be recommending to everyone I know against ever going to Briarwood Ford again. I took my 2007 Ford Edge to the Collision Center after I was rear ended for body work. Briarwood Ford took it upon themselves to "fix" my ABS which had nothing to do with the collision. My ABS light has been on my dash for over 3 years and Briarwood Ford has this documented as it has been suggested to fix during routine maintenance (which I declined on several occasions). When I got my car back the ABS light was off, however, the traction control light kept coming on and my car did not drive right. The brakes would kick back while driving and, when accelerating, my car would hesitate due to the traction control. My car never did this prior to taking it in to get body work. I notified Briarwood Ford of this, and I told them I would need a car provided to me to drive while my car was being fixed as this problem originated from their work. A car was arranged, and I dropped my car off a few days later. When I picked up the rental car, I was asked by the cashier Christina who would be paying for it, and I said I assumed it was Ford because the reason why my car needed to be worked on was because of them. She said okay, I signed the paperwork which I have printed out stating $30.00/day with $0 balance and took the car. That afternoon I was contacted by Andrea in the service department and notified my ABS module needs replaced and it will be $1,200 billed to me. My husband immediately contacted her to notify her that we will not be paying the $1,200 because my car drove just fine for the last 3+ years with the light on, and we only had issues with the car after Ford "fixed" the ABS (which again, was not part of the accident which is the entire reason my car was in their possession). Ford admitted my ABS light was documented as being on in 2015 and had no part of the collision which is why I needed to pay for it. This is confirming it should have never been touched in the first place. After lengthy conversations with both the service department and our insurance company. Briarwood Ford confirmed our insurance company would pay for the ABS module, however, it would take 2 days to come in. I contacted the service department to confirm I can keep the rental car, and I was told they do not pay for the rental car. This was never told to me before or when I picked up the rental car. I was told at this time the payment would be $47/day which again, I was never notified of. After much conversation, my husband contacted the insurance company who confirmed they would pay for the rental car and that Ford was to bill directly to my insurance company. I was contacted on Saturday that may car was complete. When I arrived I was given no paperwork for the services completed on my car because "it wasn't completed", however, the service was completed. I was told the rental car was $44/day, and that I need to pay out of pocket. I showed the cashier my paperwork which was given to me when I picked up the rental car which stated $30/day. She said the automated system "isn't right" and she didn't "know why it prints out like that". She then stated there was no way to bill directly to the insurance and there was no manager or supervisor for me to talk to on a Saturday. I called my insurance company, however, they were closed. I then was forced to pay the total amount of the rental car $44/day. This sums up my experience and the reason why I will never be taking my car to Briarwood Ford again. This is a shame as this is our "home" Ford dealership, and my husband and I are in the market for new cars in the next 6 months. We will definitely NOT be using Briarwood Ford to buy new vehicles or for maintenance in the future due to the lack of communication and poor customer service. read more

The service at Quick Lane is excellent! I walked in to get my oil changed but they were very busy so I scheduled an appointment, I'd say this is probably your best bet to get in unless you go at a slow time. The front desk is really nice and helpful. I was thoroughly impressed by the team and the fast service I received!! I will gladly be back!! read more

We have been very good customers of Briarwood Ford for over 18 years, having leased or bought a Taurus and two Explorers there. The most recent Explorer that we purchased used, 18 months ago, a 2014 Sport, has a serious engine problem at 75,000 miles. Briarwood Ford has had our vehicle for 24 days and has not kept us informed about the status of our vehicle; it has sat on the lot the entire time. They have not returned phone calls and have claimed that they are waiting for us to commit to paying a minimum of $3500 to having the timing chain fixed to a maximum of $6000 to having the engine replaced. Their customer service is the worst we have ever experienced. Do not purchase/lease or service your Ford at Briarwood Ford. read more

We've taken our car to get an oil change at Dave Knapp (near Adrian), Brooklyn Ford, and Briarwood Ford (Saline). First, all three locations provide good service (and a good oil change), though Briarwood unfortunately comes in third for a couple reasons. First place goes to Dave Knapp because they allow you to make an appointment and when they are done, give your car a nice little bath. Brooklyn gets second because they allow you to make an appointment, but they don't wash your car. Briarwood comes in last because they don't let you make an appointment, and they also don't wash your car. One time we were in the place for 2 hours - just to get an oil change. My dad is retired, and I'm on break - so we could really go at "off" times. Doesn't matter... because you just never know what you're going to get into. In my opinion, that makes this place pretty undesirable as far as a place to take your car for an oil change. Who has time for that? Even retired people have better ways to spend their time! read more
