$800 later still getting errors. No customer support. No urgency to fix recurring issues.
    S L.

I took my vehicle in for standard service. It was returned with a series of errors. To fix the errors it was another $800+. Now weeks later the errors returned. When I called to request an appointment they only offered options 3 weeks out. When I asked for help they bounced me to 5 different people then hung up on me. Getting ahold of my assigned advisor Is a hassle and no one else will help me. No customer service!!! Awful communication!! Poor repair - recurring issues. My husband was shocked I was bounced around the way I did - he was right next to me the entire time I was on the phone. He said he should have called to avoid gender discrimination and me getting pushed around.

Just telling me "runs fine"just for it to one week later get a check engine light for the things the diesel has done to the engine/car.

Beware of service department, they tried to sell me on a transmission charging at least $4000.00, when all the car needed was a fuel pump.

After a call to our insurance he got an appointment for a repair but it was weeks away. I was out running errands and passed O'Reilly and figured I would stop in to see if they may have a temporary solution for the side mirror. Now listen, I'm not a car person. I don't pretend to be a car person, I know very little. But I do know when I'm blatantly being ignored and that's pretty. much what happened here. I walked up and down the aisles searching for the mirrors and the guy behind the counter didn't even in look in my direction. I was the only one in the store, hovering over the side mirror replacements, trying to find the matching one for the mirror. I saw him walk by, still nothing. I juggled the big book of parts to look up the number I needed for the make/model of our car and not a peep. Sure, I could have asked for help but at this point I was stubborn. "Ignore me? Fine, I can do that too." Ultimately I wasn't able to find the exact fit I needed but I did get a mirror panel we could cut to size. Better than nothing? I took my purchase up to the counter and once again, the fella barely acknowledged my existence, even while he was ringing me up. And sure, maybe he was having a bad night, or he's just not a talkative person but it either way it wasn't a super pleasant experience. Ironically we never needed to use the side mirror plate as I found the exact size we needed online. So now I have to go back and return the darn thing but I'm not exactly in a hurry to return...

We couldn't pin point why it died (no lights were on, doors were closed, etc) so the tech recommended I take my car to Autozone for them to check the battery to make sure there isn't something wrong with it. Since I don't really do cars I had never been to an Autozone before but the tech told me they'll check my battery for free so I made my way to the newer location here on Jackson Road. I strolled in with no wait and told them what I needed and the nice fella working there grabbed the portable battery tester and came out to my car. Unfortunately, my car was built in an awkward way which allowed enough access for a jump but not enough access to the battery to test it any further. It's just tucked too far back for the machine to work. He took a moment to explain why and what I would need if something WAS wrong (read: I'd have to take it to the dealer since they couldn't access it to replace it). SO, they couldn't help me, but that wasn't their fault. They were extremely nice and helpful. I'd definitely come back here in the future if I had any other issues with my vehicle.

While…read moreour car salesperson has been awesome, our recent experience with the service department was frustrating to say the least, we will not be back..... We dropped off our Traverse end May 2024 due to an engine leak which was still covered by warrantee. We were told they couldn't even look at it for at least 2 weeks & no loaner car was available. I asked for a manger, who did get us a loaner. Our Traverse was in the shop for 4 months; no communication regarding the repairs unless we went in personally to inquire about it. Calls to service were either not picked up or voicemails we left were not returned. The service manager was very condescending, stating "you have a loaner". The loaner was not the big SUV with bike rack access we bought for summer trips, service manager was unapologetic. After 4 months, we finally received a call saying the car was ready for pick up. It was parked overnight, OIL STILL LEAKING. We brought the car back; they claimed it was "residual from repair" so they applied Brake Clean to clean it and told us it was fine. Again, the car was parked overnight in my garage, there was oil and red transmission fluid on the floor the next morning. We no longer trusted Suburban, so we brought the car to LaFontaine in Dexter. They found the leaks, repaired it and returned the car in 2 days. We hand delivered a letter to Suburban GM detailing our experience asking for a response; that was 2 weeks ago, no response. Needless to say, Suburban has lost a loyal customer.

It's always a very long wait to get an appointment and equally long waiting period during service. I vowed to go elsewhere once I completed my pre-purchased package. Well most recently, I spoke with a service rep and had to wait almost 2 weeks to get an appointment because my AC quit working. Showed up for my appointment, and after a very long wait to check in, discovered that they did not have an appointment on the books for me. Very frustrating to say the least. They couldn't do anything about it and basically blamed me for not making sure my appointment was confirmed. Guess I now know to definitely go somewhere else.

Sign of a sharp cookie. It took a day longer than originally promised for the stuff to arrive, but it was better than waiting for a package and/or paying for expedited delivery. I drove over to get it. I wondered how I was going to find the place. That's where the address markers in the boulevard of Jackson Road come in handy. I turned when I saw the address come up. It was west of Meijer but not as far as Baker Rd. There is not much signage when you're headed east on Jackson. I passed the building the first time. So I swung around the boulevard again.
