I took it in to Lafontaine. They gave me a free courtesy ride home so I wouldn't have to wait. The price quoted was very reasonable since I figured they'd probably have to take a blow torch to it any way to get the one part off to change it. They quoted 190 which was very fair and said they'd look under there to see if I needed anything else. When the truck was done they were very honest and said I didn't need anything else that they could see. They could've lied to me like the one local shop I use to go to and I wouldn't of known the better but not only were they honest they also told me I had some gm bucks I didn't even know about that I could apply to my bill. It dropped the bill down to 22 bucks. Man, I couldn't believe It. Let me see ya top that one, anywhere!

**Warning** This gas station has implemented a practice of authorizing the max allowable against…read moreyour credit or debit card, regardless of the actual charge. Most places will authorize $1 on your account to verify funds. This travel center put $151 of funds on hold for $30 of gas. Visa issued a notice to banks (according to UMCU), last year, that gas stations can start doing this. Apparently Pilot Travel Center is one that does. I have emailed Pilot corp, with no response. (yet) Workers at the Pilot Travel Center said that it is the bank and not Pilot. According to Visa, it is the Travel Center. Also, via Visa, they can preauthorize up to $151 for passenger vehicles and $500 for semi trucks. I can't believe this isn't common knowledge and people aren't pissed! How would you like to have $151 frozen from Friday to Tuesday. What if you were filling up on your way out of town, then you didn't have that money available because this new practice? To avoid this, go into the station and have them authorize a specific amount instead of paying at the pump. No matter how inconvenient it will be to use another gas station, I will NOT visit this travel center again.

JW sent pictures of the completed work to the city inspector, which made his job a breeze. The DTE electrician was also pleasantly surprised to see that he would not have to terminate any wiring and all he had to do was plug in the meter. I can't recommend JW Shaw Electric enough. 5 stars and now I see why Tesla recommends them for charger installation.
