Mr. Tunes

Don't make the mistake of thinking online is a better way to purchase. The prices were actually lower than Crutchfield (or anywhere else) plus working with a local small business who knows their craft is always the way to go. Great people, great service.

I've given Mr. Tunes multiple chances over the years, but after my latest experience I'm done…read morebringing my vehicles here. I've had repeated problems with both their audio installations and tint work. The first speaker setup they installed in my Explorer gave me so many issues that I eventually had to upgrade to the Alpine system I have now. I continued having installation-related issues even after that. The tint experience wasn't any better. My Explorer already had 35% tint with damaged/bubbled areas where the seat belt repeatedly hit the window. Instead of removing the damaged film and properly preparing the glass, they installed 5% tint directly over the existing 35%, including over the damaged areas. Despite all of that, I gave them another chance with my brand-new 2026 Ford Expedition Platinum Ultimate. I brought in my existing Alpine subwoofer and amplifier to have them installed. They ultimately said they couldn't do the installation because they didn't have the wiring information for the new B&O Unleashed system and wanted to wait potentially a month. I understood that the vehicle is new and the information may not be readily available, so I found another installer who was able to obtain the necessary information and provide me with a quote. When I came in to pick up my Expedition, I mentioned that I had found another installer and asked what Mr. Tunes would have charged because I wanted to compare it with the $977 quote I received. Mike slammed my key down on the counter, said it would be about the same, then told me, "By the way, your speaker's wrecked. I'm good," and walked away. He offered no explanation of what was supposedly wrong with it or what testing had been performed. Then I got into my vehicle and found grease on the brand-new Salt Crystal Gray driver's seat and my floor mat covered in dirt. My Expedition was only a few days old. I had to clean grease off the light-colored seat myself after getting it back from a professional automotive shop. If this were simply a matter of them not being able to install an aftermarket subwoofer in a newly redesigned vehicle, I would not be writing a negative review. It's the pattern: repeated problems with speaker installations, improper tint work, lack of care with my brand-new vehicle, and finally the dismissive and disrespectful way I was treated. I've spent enough money here and given them enough opportunities. I no longer trust Mr. Tunes with my vehicles and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Performance Tint - It looks so much better with tinted windows:)

tldr; A fantastic experience that we should have gotten done ages ago…read more The general rule of thumb is that SUVs get tinted windows, but sedans do not. I'm not really sure why. It seems silly and nonsensical, so I finally made the decision to get the rear passenger windows tinted. Overall we had a great experience. The appointment was easy enough to schedule, and they were very prompt once we arrived. The man at the front desk was very friendly and informative. He walked us through all the various grades and asked us what our goals were and matched them to our interior. At no point did we feel like we were getting upsold. We were walked through what matched our needs and no more. The experience was a great example of how a strong business can operate and everyone feels satisfied. We'll absolutely recommend this business to anyone and everyone, and we'll no doubt be back if the need arises. Extra shout out for the attention to detail. You can't roll down your windows for a few days after the tint is added... so they tastefully put painter's tape over the power window buttons to protect you... from you. Chef's kiss.

The waiting room was comfy and I ticked a couple things off my to-do list. The car was done earlier than promised and there was hardly any sign that they'd been in the car as far as needing clean up. After letting the windows dry for 24 hours, all the spots that looked like imperfections had disappeared, and I couldn't be happier with the job they did. I highly recommend Performance Tint!

I ended up needing a new key fob and they switched it out and programmed it with ease. The second issue my remote starter begin to act the same but just needed to be reprogrammed. I only had,to pay $35 both times for a half an hour of investigation since my key fob did odd things. I took a star off because they don't take appointments, everyone is first come first serve. With both services I need I was there close to an hour. The wait didn't deter me and I'll be back with my new car, the customer service is good and prices are lower than others without selling extras.

While within the warranty period, 2 of 5 windows started bubbling really bad so I dug up the warranty receipt to claim a warranty repair. I brought the car back and pointed out the windows with bubbles, but also the ones that still had an outstanding tint. Guy started giving me the run around. Something about their billing system being new and they can't find me. He told me I needed more proof on top of the warranty receipt, oh and by the way it would cost extra to remove the bubbling tint, a lot extra...I kindly left and didn't go back.

586 Tint Factory - After

586 Tint Factory will always get my business for every vehicle I own…read more Sean and his entire team provide the kind of customer service that is hard to find. When I first reached out online, I was unsure what type of tint I wanted and whether I wanted to go as dark as 5%. Instead of pressuring me into anything, Sean told me to come in so he could personally show me the differences between ceramic tint and the other options. The technicians were just as helpful. They showed me tint on their own personal vehicles, shared their honest opinions, and helped me understand exactly what I was getting. I originally knew I wanted 5% on the back of my Toyota Camry, which I use for Uber, but I was hesitant about doing the front windows that dark. After seeing everything in person, I decided to go with it--and I have loved it ever since. The tint looks amazing, the quality is excellent, and the car photographs beautifully. Sean also went above and beyond to squeeze me in on a Thursday morning so my brand-new Camry would be ready for Opening Day. Now, before leaving for another trip, I needed my front windshield done while working around several appointments. Once again, Sean found a way to squeeze me in. That level of service is why I came back and why I will continue coming back. From Sean to every technician in the shop, the whole experience was knowledgeable, professional, welcoming, and well-crafted from beginning to end. They do not just install tint--they make sure you understand your options and feel confident in your decision. Any car I own from this point forward is going to 586 Tint Factory. They have earned a customer for life.

From the very first conversation, he walked me through the entire process -- what to expect, timelines, options -- no pressure, just straight, knowledgeable guidance. He was personable, patient, and genuinely cared about doing it right. Even more impressive? He was able to squeeze me in the same day. If you know anything about high-end tint/PPF shops, that's rare -- especially for a place this busy. They kept the car for two days to complete ceramic coating and front clip PPF, and when I picked it up... I was honestly blown away. The gloss was unreal. It looked way better than the day I drove it off the dealership lot. The depth, the shine -- next level. I'll be honest -- I've never paid for a service like this before. I questioned whether it was "worth it." It absolutely is. Every penny. Beyond the results, the customer experience was top-tier. Communication was fantastic the entire time. The shop is spotless, organized, and family-friendly. The team clearly knows what they're doing and takes pride in their craft. You can tell this isn't just a job for them -- it's reputation and passion. Shawn and the team -- I truly cannot thank you enough. If you're on the fence about PPF or ceramic, stop researching and just call them.
