Different atmosphere here than at the downtown Holland pubs. More of a neighborhood/family vibe than a student/hipster one. No food here (not even packaged snacks), but some outstanding beer. Can't beat the price of a sampler: 6 generous snifters for $9. Our favorites out of the bunch (see photo) were a porter and a saison, though there was nothing I'd turn my nose up at. It's a laid back place to enjoy a pint, and order in some food if you care to.

This is such a great brewery in Holland. Located in a little strip plaza, this brewery has some amazing beers. We decided to get a sampler and everything we tried was fantastic. The locals at the bar were hilarious and they loved sharing stories about the brewery. If you are in the area, don't overlook this brewery. It's located just on the outskirts of town, but it's most certainly worth the trip.

Awesome brewery! Love the beers and the atmosphere in here. Plenty of seating although when I visited last time close to opening hours, seating was scarce (I attribute that to the holiday season). We scored a seat at the bar and the staff was so friendly! We shared a flight and all of the beers were so good; I was really impressed! My favorite surprisingly was the Strawberry Rhubarb. I love it so much I brought a few cans home. FYI--they can make cans to order from anything on tap. Only downside: no food. Most breweries at least have a food truck. But there is a place next door and you can bring your own food so not a deal breaker. Looking forward to coming back next time I'm in town!

Yay! I was so happy to slide into Brewery 4 Two 4 yesterday on the way to catch a sunset at the beach! I have been hearing about a lot of great things about them and it was not a disappoint! They do not have food and I tried about 3/4 of the menu, as some styles I just don't like so I didn't bother. Everything blew me away (and I don't say that often). All of the beers were true to style, had the body, the nose, and an amazing mouthfeel. When the weather is warmer I stick to lighter and more 'refreshing' beers. I tried - Let's Play 2 - American Lager: great tasting refreshing Lager Crazy Putin - Russian Imperial Stout - very true to style, tasty but not something I want in the summer, give me this in the winter all day long! Breakfast in Maui - Stout - I wanted to like this more and this is one of their most hyped up beers. I just can't do coffee in beer, for me this needed more coconut but I am sure I am in the minority when I say this. Dry Hopped Pale Series - just perfect Juice Weasel - they jumped on the NEIPA hype train and they nailed it! Great summer drinking beer! King's Cross ESB - ESB, not many breweries around here make these, so I was happy to see one and really enjoyed it! Bestside Wheat - Witbier, I am a sucker for wheat and German beers and this one stole the show for me! Keep up the amazing work!

We got the beers called, you do you, juice weasel, Eureka!, Ghost Rider, very berry pie, Rye I dream of ginger. Only $8 to get a decent size four of six beers! Bartender was laid-back and willing to chit chat. Loved the music, alternative and Blues. There is no food so do not come hungry. Saw a family bring chips and sandwiches however. And...they have darts

They don't serve any food but they allow you to bring your own in or there's a pizza place next door that you can order from and they will bring the pizza to you in the brewery when it's ready. We went in on a Sunday afternoon after finishing up a photo shoot in Holland State Park. I had never been to the area and was looking forward to going to a brew pub with craft beer and food so we ended up going to New Holland Brew Pub. The interior of Four 2 Four is clean, hip and trendy. They have a good beer selection, a large bar top as well as tables to sit. Late Sunday afternoon there were maybe six people in three different groups in there. Several flat screen TVs to watch the game if you'd like. It is located in a small strip mall on a quiet road with only the small banner sign to identify it, my photographer drove by it twice before I pointed to where it was. A Couple of friends from Zealand recommended it to us as a great microbrewery so give it a try if that's all you're looking for.

We had to go around the block multiple times before we found a space behind the parking lot behind the restaurant. When we got into the restaurant was packed on a Tuesday night. There was a short waiting list that moved pretty quickly. The main reasons for going there was to try their James Beard award winning Trumpet burger. I also ordered an amber ale that was pretty good. It was good but coming from Chicago there are several burgers that I feel are better. Places like Au Chaval & Little Bad Wolf to name a few. My wife ordered a Mediterranean style pizza. Again coming from Chicago the pizza was very average. How can you compare this to Pequods or Lou Malnati? Hops draws a large crowd and really packs the people in. They have a good lively crowd w/a nice selection of food & beers. It was an enjoyable meal in a very crowd friendly. As someone with celiac disease, eating out can be stressful, but when I informed our server, he immediately reassured me that they take cross-contamination seriously and ensure a safe meal. While they do offer outdoor dining, we opted to sit inside, and the service and food were fantastic from start to finish. To drink, I started with the kiwi pineapple margarita--they offer multiple types of rims, and I went with sugar, which was delicious. The summer sangria also sounded amazing, but I stuck with the margarita since it was guaranteed gluten-free. For food, we shared the ricotta with gluten-free toast, and for my main, I had the Beyond Burger on a gluten-free bun with a side of chips that were confirmed to be safely gluten-free. Finding a place that is this accommodating, knowledgeable, and delicious is rare, and it made our trip so much better!

The menu is very robust with a balance of flavor fusion and fan favs. The Bacon Jam Session was fantastic, and I highly recommend this to a friend. The peanut butter aioli ties the bacon jam together nicely. The buffalo Mac was pretty good, but the truffle fries were a highlight. The seasoning really made the meal. The service was not stellar. We were seated outside and our server made very minimal effort to come out and see us. She was quickly rushing off before we could ask a question or make a request. No love with any of the food. No balance of flavors. The fries were not good... just pepper heavy. My daughter wouldn't eat her grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup saying she didn't like the seasoning, (though I thought it was tasty). Everything was disappointing especially my ancho chicken bowl that had less than a breast of chicken, jalapeño heavy and barely any avocado. Talk about cheap! Are we coming back to give this restaurant another chance? Yeah... no. We are hopping right outta this catty spot and would rather just eat at Sperry's movie house in the dining area as their food is much better, quicker, and cheaper. Staff is also much friendlier AND they have fun board games to play. In conclusion, Meow.

The service was excellent -- perfectly timed, without a single unnecessary wait. The prices felt very reasonable for the quality and level of the restaurant. Our waitress was really nice and overall service was quick. We ordered the Lemon Chicken and the Wedge Salad. The reason why I'm giving this restaurant 3 stars is mainly because of the chicken dish. I was expecting it to be more citrusy, but I feel like whatever lemon flavor it was meant to have was lost by some sort of sweetness. I think the Meyer lemon butter made the dish was so oddly sweet it mixed in with the rice underneath. Overall, this dish was sadly disappointing since we were looking forward to something savory and herby but got what felt like a sugar bomb for chicken. The salad was good and loaded with toppings, however, I felt like there was way too much dressing that drowned the salad once it was all mixed. If possible, I would get the dressing on the side. All in all, great ambiance, good service and a wonderful location. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong things. Still worth checking out, if you're in the area!

We arrived at 9:45pm and were seated at a cute, cozy little couch and table setup. The hostess handed us both a drink menu and a separate food menu. Looking through it, I was thrilled to see quite an expansive cocktail list broken down by "chapters," as well as several small snack options clearly marked with a gluten-free (GF) label. Unfortunately, the experience was a bit disappointing once we tried to order. Despite the online hours stating the venue closes at 11:00pm our server informed us that the kitchen was already closed. There is no indication online of what time the kitchen closes, and it was incredibly disappointing to be handed a dedicated food menu by the hostess only to be told moments later we couldn't order anything. When I asked our server for recommendations and which specific cocktails were gluten-free, she mentioned she was new and had to go check. She returned about 10 minutes later, only to give a vague answer that "most drinks were gluten-free" without offering an actual recommendation or helpful suggestion. My husband ended up ordering a non-alcoholic drink, but between the kitchen confusion and the lackluster service, I opted not to get anything at all.
