Was very surprised by this restaurant. I've never been there before. Found it on yelp. Was going to meet a friend up there and absolutely loved it. The view is fantastic. If the weather is good, I highly recommend eating on the patio and watching the sun reflect off the water. We ended up eating inside, but it was still well worth it. Our waitress was very attentive and had great suggestions. Everything we had was fantastic. The scallops were tender and cooked to perfection. Both salads that the girls had were Hardy and the fish on top was fantastic. The sampler of appetizers gave a good mix of what was available. The dessert sampler was my favorite. read more

We went on a Sunday & they were OUT of a lot of items...no exaggeration-you couldn't order 1/2 of the Menu because they were out of the main ingredients (this part was very dissatisfying). We went in for our anniversary, as our very first time - and the only thing I will say is that I would love to gatekeep a place like this, but lol they deserve to be known and thrive. They have impressed us from start to finish. The location is perfect; the atmosphere is perfect. Not too loud, not too quiet. The food was PHENOMENAL!!!! Scratch kitchen & DELICOUS! The staff was extremely welcoming and polite. We could not thank them enough for such a beautiful experience, really. We've been wowed, and will recommend. A really good experience - food was delicious (had the Chef's Special Chorizo-crusted fish entree), Veggies cooked nice Al-dente, not mushy at all). Nick, bartender took good care of me & surprisingly for a Friday night, was not packed. The menu is inspiring - great options & wanted to try more than just what I had - the Cioppino entre at the adjacent table looked really delicious. The restaurant used to be Bonefish Willy's, and I had been there previously multiple times. While BW was charmingly funky, The Brevardian is much more elegant. It's a 100+ year old building right on the river, so seating on the lower deck is cool & makes for a memorable meal. But the Brevardian folks have updated the property and it's truly nice. Bathrooms no longer oddly funky, and the whole property feels comfortable (I got rained on a few times sitting at the bar at BW!!). That won't happen with the updates to the building. Try it out - I do not think you'll be disappointed. read more

We took our family of 6. We arrived early on a weekend. Only two other customers. The service was good and not much of a wait. Great view! However, it's expensive and three out of six of our meals were lacking a desirable flavor for the price. I probably wouldn't go back when I can go elsewhere paying slightly less, for the same type of meal or better. I know the cost of goods is increasing so the quality of food is very important. 11/10/2024 Took the family (9 people) here for a nice Sunday brunch. We were supposed to sit outside, but had barely ordered our drinks when the rain started. We scrambled inside and were squeezed into a little nook, not terrible, but definitely less table space than outside. Anyway we managed. The food was 'ok'... different for sure, but nothing special, a few 'platters' made for 2 or more. Craft cocktails that those who ordered them said were good. I stuck to coffee/water. The service, while very friendly and personable... was lacking. Long waits in between the courses and I never did get my hot sauce. The three Seasonal Scallops seared to golden perfection and nestled in a bed of butternut brown butter grits. A+ can't wait to go back From the jump, there is plenty of parking. You will have a short walk to the host and the driveway is rocks so I would say heels are not the best choice. Also, it can get windy so be aware of that for outfit choice. The outdoor seating is right on the water and reservations are heavily recommended.They do have indoor seating and bar seating as well but again, call ahead. It is a quaint spot, but that's the charm! THE FOOD IS AMAZING. My family all passed our dishes around and everything was outstanding. Something that erks me is not having hot food, and these entrees came out sooooo hot a fresh. Ugh. The SALMON! Ps-The dishes are made exactly how the chef wants you to experience it, so just go with it! It's a culinary experience! AND DO NOT SKIP DESERT! Drinks are FLAWLESS! Even if you don't know what you want, Nick is there to pair your dinner with the most perfect craft cocktail and everything is made in house. We spent NYE having an amazing dinner! We each got cocktails, coconut shrimp appetizer (amazing!), ribeye and the salmon. I will be trying to replicate the salmon and Gruyère risotto. It was fantastic!!! We also had the cheesecake and it was delicious too! The backside of the old Bonefish is now the restaurant seating and we sat in a cozy little cove. It's amazing how they completely changed the layout. It's so cozy and warm! Our waiter was Nic and he was fantastic! He was on point with all his recommendations. When we return we will specifically request him! Yes it was pricey but worth every penny. I cannot wait to return. What a wonderful fine dining experience here in Brevard. 10/10 recommend. read more

My girlfriends and I went out for lunch, I save all month to have a new, fun, experience, and I have mixed feelings about our visit. I had looked on your app to see the menu, and my heart was set on scallops. There were a few choices of types, however I didn't care which type, I just wanted scallops. I also had my hopes of key lime cheesecake, and I was so excited to enjoy every bite. Hmmmm... No scallops? Hmmmmm No cheesecake until after 3:00? Very disappointed to not get either of my choices I saw on their menu. I got the grouper dish, and it came withs Cesar salad, both were delicious!!!! My friends weren't super happy with the tacos either, and the chairs were Old and needed new cushions. This rustic little place is scenically located on the Indian river. The view is amazing, even from points in the dining room. The curb appeal is really lacking. After being seated we were waited on by a young g lady that seemed u sure of herself. When asked about the menu, she did not have any real knowledge about the dishes. A gentleman who worked there gave us his recommendations. We ordered the seared grouper and the garden pasta. The dishes were well presented and very flavorful. The grouper was perfectly cooked. The brown drizzle on the plate was a little strange looking and did not add to the overall flavor of the dish. Service was good. Not phenomenal. We have been eagerly awaiting the opening of this restaurant. The build up of anticipation did not disappoint. The meals were delicious, and the drinks were amazing! When we ordered the dessert sampler it was delivered along with a visit from the pastry chef herself. She explained what each sample was. The desserts were incredible. We sat in the covered bar area & the view & was one of the best of any restaurant we have in Brevard. It's surprisingly dingy and outdated throughout. Ex: When you walk in the entrance, a beat up wooden box is there with items stuffed into the open back of it. And no one is standing there. We waited for probably 20 minutes at our table before we even got acknowledged and it was the host to take our drink orders because our waitress was IMA. We put in drinks and a couple apps and no one came to our table for another hour. no food nothing has arrived. And finally! Our waitress finally shows up only to tell us (and the other 3 surrounding tables that also haven't gotten service yet) that the food we have been waiting for an HOUR is sold out and they are out of all seafood dishes! What an absolute waste of time and soil to a nice night. I will never attempt to dine here again. read more
