Really enjoyed the food here. It was busy so the order took a bit, which is understandable. Other than this is was great!

The food is always delicious and super flavorful. If it's supposed to be crunchy? It's crunchy. Soft/fluffy? Soft and fluffy. Spicy? You get it. I've had multiple things and everything is fire and the people are so friendly and nice. My most recent time I got the Bento Box with two pieces of Korean fried chicken, but I've had the the tuna poke bowl, the loco moco, the Pele Plate with kimchi fried rice and the spicy pork belly and all of them last me, like, 3 meals. Literally, everything is good, they're fast, AND the portion sizes are Poly size, so you'll be able to feed your big fellas!

Absolutely amazing Hawaiian food! I haven't had a single dish here that I didn't love. The fried…read moremusubi poke bomb is next-level, and the Pele Plate is truly god-tier. Other standouts: spicy mac, kimchi fried rice, spicy poke, shoyu poke, char siu chicken katsu, and the teriyaki loco moco--every single one a 10/10. I'm not connected to this food truck in any way, just a raving fan who keeps coming back. Employees are always so kind and quick. Food trucks can be a pain because you have to find a place to eat, but it doesn't matter with how great their food is. Follow them on Instagram to see when they will be in your area (usually northern Utah - Salt Lake county or Utah county).

I was in…read morePleasant Grove on a windy Saturday and Burger Pioneers was calling my name for some lunch. I am not sure what I was expecting, but I definitely thought they were in a more centralized location. They are not too far from State Street but not close to too many other businesses either. The great news is, they have a wide open parking lot with plenty of spaces. Their food truck is super cute. It hardly looks like a truck and resembles more of a massive wagon. They really went all out with the branding and I am here for it. With it being a parked food truck, they didn't have a lobby or an inside but they did have some tables and chairs right outside their truck. Upon approaching the truck, a guy came to stand beside me and take my order. I was not 100% sure what I wanted but I elected for their signature burger with fries. He said that he could bring it out to my car once it was ready, which I extra appreciated because it was not a very nice day out. My total was just shy of 20 bucks, at $19.27. I sorta understand. I mean, they're a local food truck and it seems that they strive to provide much better quality food than other fast food places...but this is pretty steep for just a burger and fries. The food did seem to come out pretty fast and I was excited to try it. The onion on the burger was a bit large, it was almost an inch thick and I think I would've preferred it cut up just a little more. The fries were pretty good but tasted a bit greasier than I would've liked. I did like that it came with a fry sauce. All in all, I really liked Burger Pioneers. I felt that all the flavors were a bit overpowering and almost bitter because of the greasy taste, but it wasn't a bad burger spot. I hope to be back when the weather is nicer with some friends. This is probably such a cute, fun spot in the summer time!

We ordered 2 burgers and we added bacon on both of our burgers which was extra. When we are our burgers, we couldn't even tell there was bacon on there. We couldn't taste it at all. It wasn't crispy. The bacon was really small and it was a cheap kind of bacon. We paid extra for it and couldn't even tell a difference. We ordered a side of waffle fries for our 11 month old daughter. Most of the fries were super hard and way over done. We couldn't feed them to her since she doesn't have all of her teeth. We ended up throwing them away because they were just so hard and not good. It is also super expensive. No fountain drinks just canned soda. Also, when we ordered nobody else was there and we waited so long for our food. We waited in our car since it was freezing outside but the service was so slow.
