The food is always delicious and super flavorful. If it's supposed to be crunchy? It's crunchy. Soft/fluffy? Soft and fluffy. Spicy? You get it. I've had multiple things and everything is fire and the people are so friendly and nice. My most recent time I got the Bento Box with two pieces of Korean fried chicken, but I've had the the tuna poke bowl, the loco moco, the Pele Plate with kimchi fried rice and the spicy pork belly and all of them last me, like, 3 meals. Literally, everything is good, they're fast, AND the portion sizes are Poly size, so you'll be able to feed your big fellas!

Food was good especially the Mac salad (would definitely buy more to have for the next day) but I…read morethought the rice was kind of hard (reason for 4 stars). Nice portions on the plates. The smoked meat kind of tasted like char sui to me. I'm glad they didn't pour more sauce on top of the meats (some places have done that which made the meats more sweet). Happy they were close to my house in Salt Lake City so I could try them. Nice fast communication. The T.I. brewing company had a taco truck on their website for today so I wanted to clarify that it would be this food truck and they got back to me right away when I sent a Facebook message. Made me feel like a valued customer. I would definitely go back.

You can tell the owner takes a lot of pride in what he does. Tonight his special was wild bison, burgers which I ordered and I also ordered the mushroom Swiss burger. I really liked the mushroom Swiss burger. He said that that's one of his favorites and I can see why. I thought the food was really tasty. It was $50 for 2 burgers and 2 fries. I like to frequent local places, so this will be a burger place that I will keep in rotation. Check them out.

I am not sure what I was expecting, but I definitely thought they were in a more centralized location. They are not too far from State Street but not close to too many other businesses either. The great news is, they have a wide open parking lot with plenty of spaces. Their food truck is super cute. It hardly looks like a truck and resembles more of a massive wagon. They really went all out with the branding and I am here for it. With it being a parked food truck, they didn't have a lobby or an inside but they did have some tables and chairs right outside their truck. Upon approaching the truck, a guy came to stand beside me and take my order. I was not 100% sure what I wanted but I elected for their signature burger with fries. He said that he could bring it out to my car once it was ready, which I extra appreciated because it was not a very nice day out. My total was just shy of 20 bucks, at $19.27. I sorta understand. I mean, they're a local food truck and it seems that they strive to provide much better quality food than other fast food places...but this is pretty steep for just a burger and fries. The food did seem to come out pretty fast and I was excited to try it. The onion on the burger was a bit large, it was almost an inch thick and I think I would've preferred it cut up just a little more. The fries were pretty good but tasted a bit greasier than I would've liked. I did like that it came with a fry sauce. All in all, I really liked Burger Pioneers. I felt that all the flavors were a bit overpowering and almost bitter because of the greasy taste, but it wasn't a bad burger spot. I hope to be back when the weather is nicer with some friends. This is probably such a cute, fun spot in the summer time!
