First off, there are only two workers that run this whole place when we came. And it's a good thing I speak Spanish because the main guy at the food truck who takes your order pretty much speaks zero English. Just be aware of that. Tried this out for the first time and ordered the 3 meat plate of nachos. We tried al pastor, carne asada and chorizo. The chip to topping ratio was great but the flavor on the meats was just not there for us. The carne asada had no flavor at all and tasted old honestly. The al pastor was prob the best out of the 3 but the chunks of pineapple were huge compared to the meat and over powering. The chorizo was just average. Instead of the carne asada they should do some sort of chipotle brisket or something. When places serve nachos with the fake cheese I just already know it's not going to be the best. The salsa options were only hot and mild and honestly neither were very flavorful either - the heat on the hot was ok. Service was great and lady was nice and super quick. This place serves good nachos! Now I'm going to be picky for a second. If you're entire restaurant theme is "nachos", I think you've better have the very best nachos around. We consider ourselves to be something of nacho connoisseurs. I wouldn't say this is the best plate of nachos I've ever had. However, it was still a good tray! I don't personally like liquid cheese, so going back I would not have them add that, and just do extra of the shredded cheese. But my husband liked the liquid cheese just fine. The other thing is that it was definitely an average chip. Which again, it's fine, but nachos with a thicker chip just hold the toppings better, and keep from getting soggy. These were soggy by the end, but that's a fairly expected thing I think with a standard chip and a lot of toppings. We got the pulled pork and the steak. I usually prefer the steak, but this was almost a ground beef and heavily peppered, which made me eat the pork half first. Which was very good. I probably wouldn't get the steak again. All in all, it was a fun atmosphere, it would be fun to go on a music night. It was also a good plate of nachos, but I wouldn't necessarily crave nachos, or go here to appease my need for nachos. There was live entertainment by the truck when we went which was nice. He told us he took requests. There's a calendar of events/ entertainment in seating area. We got the 3 meat option. I forgot which size we got but 4 of us shared it. They do an excellent job of layering/arranging the chips in a way that the ingredients area not just on the chips on top. Which is TRULY A MASTERPIECE... because you usually end up with plain chips on the bottom. As you can see from the pic, presentation is Instagram worthy! I must admit tho... Kind of pricey for nachos, ingredients are pretty standard. It was supposed to have beans but we didn't see much or very little of it. These nachos are off the hook!!! We got the carne asada nachos with everything on the and they just melt in your mouth with just enough crunch. My hubby was but with me but we sent him pics and he was dying to try the nachos too. So on the way home we got him a jr. tray too and he was in heaven. Nachos!!!! Man oh man do I love a good tray of nachos every once in a while. I pulled up and was immediately excited because of the welcoming, cute area they have. There's little string lights and tables and chairs set up. I think you can also eat inside, but I ate outside because it was a nice afternoon :) I ordered the mama's tray, without avocado and pulled pork for my meat of choice. I really should've gotten their Jr. tray because the mama's tray was a pretty large portion for a single girl lol. The food came out pretty quick and boy was it tasty. They did a pretty good job layering it too, instead of everything being on the top. Overall, nachos live is an awesome place in Lehi and I recommend it!! When I first opened my Papa's nachos I was stoked to try them. Full of everything nachos should be, and the toppings to chip ratio was great! Unfortunately once I started eating them the excitement quickly disappeared. The flavor was severely sub par. No one in my family liked their nachos. We ended up throwing away about $60 of the $70 we spent on these nachos. Which brings up the next issue - they are also extremely overpriced. $70 for one Papa, one Mama, and two Jr's is pretty wild. read more

Nachos Live is a food truck but has seating in an adjacent building. I'd been wanting to try it for a while due to the great reviews. My wife and I got the three meat nacho plate with chicken, crane asada, and pulled pork. The lady at the window said the pulled pork was their specialty. She wasn't wrong. The pulled pork surprised us both and was our favorite meat of the three. I'm kind of torn because the nachos were really good but I did feel it was a bit on the pricey side. We got the family tray with all the meats. Every single family member devoured the nachos. The meat was seasoned perfectly! My favorite was the chorizo, my husband liked the the pulled pork the most but really all of the meats were delicious. I did wished we had more queso but that is personal preference. I LOVE Nachos Live! I have to say I'm not the biggest nacho fan, but these are seriously the best I've ever had! I got a Jr Pork and barely could even eat half. The location is great, just right on Main St in Lehi. It's super easy to get in and out of. Just beware that it is usually always busy BUT you don't have to wait too long. My only criticism is that I thought the pork was too sweet but still loved, just next time I'll order a different meat. I love how it comes with so many toppings. We ordered the family size nacho tray. They didn't tell us until after we paid that they "ran out" of chicken and pork then they said "well it's not done marinating yet." so which is it? And strange since we got there an hour and 15 minutes after opening and not during a crazy hour, it was lunch time and no one was there. But you really should be prepared before opening regardless of time or day. We get our nachos and the entire outside rim of the chips are charred. We start eating anyway and the meat we did order was Al pastor which is defined as pork meat strips and carne asada which is defined as steak strips but what we got was mutulated pork fat pieces on one side and cheap, sausage-like ground beef on the other. We are really just trying to eat it anyway because we aren't the type to say make us a whole new one, but once again we are utterly disappointed when we realize, there's no guacamole or even a staple, beans, on there! ( if you look at the menu, it says ALL trays come with: cheese, nacho sauce, sour cream, refried beans, guacamole, onions, tomatoes, jalapeños, Etc..) so we asked for some to put on and they said they ran out of guacamole and the "refried beans" he gave us was one SMALL ramekin of runny puréed bean soup?? (which burned my husbands hand because the guy just said oh here you go! ...we had a family size nacho plate, one ramekin of bean "soup" won't cover even a quarter of this tray! So we asked for more sour cream (there was barely any to begin with) to sort of take the place of the void in our bare nachos... We get not even half way through and it's just piles of bare stale chips with little meat and cheese. I cannot believe these cost $25!! What a rip off! It's outrageous! To add insult to injury, and this is probably the worst part of this all, the bathroom they claim is open has no running water to wash your hands... That is a safety hazard! They said the lobby was open but as soon as we walked in there was this awful rancid musky smell that sent even our kids running. So we had to sit outside on the rickety chairs and tables with the scrawny sauce bottles tipping and falling every 5 seconds. This was, hands down, worst experience of any place of food we've ever been to! We have been to some outstanding food trucks and incredibly clean and tasty whole-in-the-wall places. This was so awful on so many levels! We won't ever go back. Making nachos at home is so easy and waaaay cheaper with far better quality food along with the comfort of your own home without the dangers lurking beneath the surfaces of this place... read more

I shared a nacho tray with four meats with four adults and we were all happy and full by the end of the meal. I especially liked the carne asada and chorizo. You didn't know it then, but Nachos Live is what you were craving. Nachos Live doesn't try to do anything weird or unique to reinvent a plate of Nachos. They just do regular Nachos, they just do them really well. The menu isn't too complex because there's not much to it. You have a list of sizes, meat options and a toppings. Pick a size and meat (or more if its a larger size) then let them know if there are any toppings you want them to leave off. That's it. Order a drink and you're done. I got the Carne Asada and it was great. Simple, great flavor and just a great balance of all the toppings. The guy that took my order said the pork was the most popular so i think I'll try that next time. Its basically a food truck but they have a building next to it that you can go in to eat at and its nice and clean, and all the staff was friendly and helpful.
