I don't recommend this place to anyone. This is the worst experience I've ever had at a milk tea place. I ordered a Taro milk tea extra sweet and payed additional to have the boba added to it. When I got the drink it was bitter and tasted like chemicals, it definitely was not taro flavor. after only taking a sip I took it back to them telling them they made the wrong drink, they said that it in fact was taro. (taro is always my go to drink and it definitely did not taste like any taro i've ever had) They offered to make me another drink but I politely asked them for a refund instead. They told me since I already took a sip of out it they can't give a refund which I thought was very stupid so I had no other choice for them to remake the drink but then they told me they ran out of boba. I was told they'd just pour the boba from my previous drink into my new one which I was fine with. Once I got the new drink there was no boba in it and they told me they aren't allowed to reuse the boba which was the opposite of what they said they were going to do. The second drink ended up tasting horrible as well just minus the boba. The drink ended up going in to the trash and was a waste of 7$ All in all I will never go to this place will definitely recommend no one go there. read more

I visited this location on a warm, sunny Sunday afternoon with a group of friends looking for some cold, refreshing, post-hike drinks. There was a line when we arrived, and customers were respectful of pandemic guidelines while waiting for drinks and lining up to order. The store offers contactless payment and sanitizer. I ordered the brown sugar boba with light ice, and did not ask to adjust sweetness since most boba stores cannot adjust sweetness for brown sugar boba. For reference, XinFuTang is my favorite brown sugar boba store. Apparently, sweetness CAN be adjusted. For my 100% sweetness drink, it tasted exactly as the name suggested, brown sugar in milk. I was initially shocked by how excessively sweet it was and really wanted some water to chase it. The boba was chewy to the core, but not soft; thankfully there was no hard center. After sipping on the drink for a while, the boba lost it's flavor to the milk and was sadly bland. My friend got the same brown sugar boba drink but with light sugar. The reduced sugar version tasted just like regular milk after my taste buds were overwhelmed by my 100% sweetness drink. Overall, I would not go out of my way to visit this location again, and would prefer YiFang for brown sugar boba. read more

This is a really refreshing drink with bits of fruit in it. I really enjoyed the flavor. I got it less sweet, but it was still really sweet for me. I think next time I would get it with no sweet. Fantastic place in Campbell downtown. I went to their branch in San Jose. Loved their Mango Mojito tea!!! Highly recommended everyone try that. Very friendly & great place to hangout with friends. It was my first time to visit this tea place and was so excited in the beginning. I ordered Cheese Foam Green Tea with boba. My drink ended up with no boba. The lady who took my order misunderstood me. She should have repeated my order to avoid mistakes. The annoying part is she made a comment after I told them that I want boba on my drink. She rebuked me and said that the boba costs 50cents next time. She sounded like I'm trying to cheat her out of 50cents. I even gave a tip, which was more than enough to cover the boba cost. On the other hand, the other lady who prepared my drink was so nice and accommodating. She added the boba without saying any annoying comments. She even volunteered to remake my tea but I said she doesn't need to. For the drink, it was just ok. The green tea is watered down. The boba is too soft. A solid boba spot! Located in DT Campbell, parking can be tricky, but they do have a parking garage (free) behind so not bad at all. A lot of shops to look around too if you're in the area. I've had their boba on different occasions and it's always been consistent and good. Nothing absolutely amazing but definitely solid. Consistency is somewhat of a rarity in boba shops, iykyk. My only caveat is that I think they use non-dairy creamer, which is :(((, but they do have other non-dairy options for extra. I get their popcorn chicken too and I like it. I'm not sure how the price compares, but when I get it w/ a drink, I usually can't finish it so I'd say it's a good deal! What adds the extra star for me is the cafe environment. Very remote work friendly! It's never crowded (people almost always take their stuff to-go) and while there's music, I can concentrate. They also have outlets by the tables and they have wireless charging! And of course, free wifi. It can get chilly though, so bring a jacket :) read more

Was looking for a Boba place near where I live in Pruneyard and came across Breaktime Tea with 4.5 star reviews. I expected it to be decent but probably not up to the 4.5 stars since the demographic in Campbell is different from Cupertino so the reviews would be skewed. You know...kinda like a highly rated Chinese restaurant in Gilroy or something. I ordered Jasmine Green Milk tea with honey boba, the boba itself was acceptable and chewy but the tea was WAY TOO DILUTED by either milk or cream or water. If you want milk tea with real tea flavors, go to TP Tea in Cupertino. I also ordered the Popcorn chicken and the chicken taste week OLD and RUBBERY. It also came with sweet chili sauce?? Basil would suffice. You can see the texture in the photo below. I've spent half of my life in Taiwan where pearl milk teas and popcorn chicken originated from. From my perspective, this place is very Americanized. The flavor and quality is lacking. If you want authenticity, look somewhere else. read more

I found Breaktime Tea on DoorDash and I've ordered from them a few times now. The teas and coffees are tasty, always made quickly and arrive timely, and there's a solid variety of toppings to choose from (the mango stars - yum!). I've tried their potstickers and lobster balls as well. The food always arrives warm and fresh. I didn't much care for the lobster balls due to personal preference in regards to the texture, but the spicy sauce that comes with the "snacks" is amazing and I loved the potstickers!
