I don't even want to imagine how their kitchen area is upkept if they can barely manage their public space. Drinks: My partner and I ordered the white peach boba milk tea and the tiger milk tea. It's really nothing special and it befuddles me that there is high praise for the quality of their drinks. The tea flavour is not strong, nor is the boba made with quality in mind as it was hard in the center. I'm under the assumption that their fruit teas are front-loaded with artificial syrups since that's what the white peach resembled. Price: To compromise quality, the price point is the selling factor. Boba priced around $5-$7 is a rarity these days, but this shop does it. Just know that you're paying for lesser quality in your order. Customer Service: Wow, that needs work. The other review was not kidding about their employees and how they communicate. Customer interactions can heavily change the view of the store and will make/break the experience. With this already broken experience being topped by their employee "communication," I'm surprised they have returning customers. There are a plethora of better boba shops in the same area. I reckon you opt for those if you value strong tea flavour, better customer service, and---most importantly---a store that values cleanliness.

The taro smoothie (pictured with my own steel straw, which I prefer) tastes like it's made from the standard mix that Chinese boba shops use, and the ice is appropriately fine-grained. My friend's red guava tea was very good -- honestly I preferred it to the taro drink I chose, and to the last red guava drink I had which tasted a bit chemical, which this did not! But the best drink of all was the mango frozen slushie sample we were offered -- next time! I will happily come again the next time I pass by. It's only 15-20 min away, meaning there's a couple dozen shops closer to me. But this is a fine shop run by very welcoming people. Stop by if you're close!

Ordering is done entirely through a touchscreen pad. At first, we weren't even sure they were open because there was no employee in sight. A few other customers were lingering nearby looking just as perplexed. We browsed the menu and took our chances. There were quite a few drinks and snacks that read, "Sold Out"; close to half the menu. I ended up ordering a Tropical Dream (pineapple slushee, fresh pineapple, agar boba and mint). After placing our order, we wandered around the surprisingly large kiosk but still couldn't find anyone working. The entire preparation area is enclosed behind frosted plexiglass panels, making it impossible to watch your drink being made. Personally, I enjoy seeing the preparation process, not only because it's interesting, but also because it gives me a sense of the cleanliness and care being taken. Here, everything was completely hidden from view. My husband even tried peeking over the partition for a glimpse, which felt a little awkward. After a few minutes, someone did appear with our order. Mine was okay. It tasted like pineapple and I did love the crystal boba. I drank about a quarter of it, then tossed it. Maybe it was too sweet. I just couldn't justify drinking my calories for a drink that was merely okay. Calories are meant to be savored and enjoyed.
