Great food and outstanding service. It's a regional chain in the Piedmont of North Carolina. Since my wife does not like Breakfast, not normally an option except when she's in Pittsburgh. Should have taken a closer look at the menu because they offer so much more that Breakfast and much to my wife's taste. This was the first Breakfasttime I became aware of. It's on the North End of Concord on Copperfield Blvd just off I-85. After a stop at Best Buy to pick up an SD Card so I arrived just after 1pm. The bulk of the rush was over but I still had a 5 - 10 minute wait but no problem. I was seated shortly thereafter and Robin, my server was there shortly with a menu and to take my order. I was going to have a regular Breakfast but at the last minute, changed my mind and went with Meatloaf with Tomato Sauce, Fried Okra and Cucumber Salad and a roll. It's an attractive restaurant much like a Bob Evans or Cracker Barrel in menu concept. Decor is like several restaurants with an emphasis on Breakfast much like places I've dined at in Crystal River, FL or Marietta, GA. Meal came out shortly and portion size was impressive. Started with the Fried Okra and it was great. Great flavor and the texture was perfect. Meatloaf was good but the apparently they add sugar to the tomato so it was a bit on the sweet side. The Cucumber Salad was good with good crunch but could have used a bit more vinegar to give it more of a tang. I rarely mention by name, my server and just comment on the level of service. I break that policy because my Server was one of the best I have had in a long time. Being on crutches awaiting surgery, she went out of her way to make me comfortable. Or at least that is the way I initially interpreted it till I noticed that she treated all of her tables that way. I complimented her and she indicated that she had been only doing this for a month after 10 years in the Corporate World. Breakfasttme please take note and clone her. Good servers with good personal skills are hard to find and you're got a great one here. I also noticed that the next table over was Hispanic and their Server spoke excellent Spanish and the whole interaction was in Spanish. Great way to make customers feel at home. I LOVE Breakfast time! I have dinner in a couple times, but usually grab a to-go late Sunday morn/early afternoon. The food is always well prepared and they aren't stingy with it. Add 5-10 minutes to whatever time they give you when placing a carry-out order during peak times. I ordered the short stack banana pancakes along with two scrambled eggs and will be ordering that again when we are back in the area. My order was takeout which was still warm and tasty when I got home! If you love bananas get the pancakes - the warm bananas on top were magic!! The portion was perfect. I had to wait a few minutes (with numerous staff just passing by) before I was even acknowledged. First - I was completely unprepared for how delicious the food was here, and the service was outstanding as well. Every five minutes someone was circling around with hot, fresh coffee for free refills. The waitstaff dotes on every customer. They are superb and patron satisfaction is clearly their primary concern. The food was prepared quickly and surpassed anything I was expecting. Everything can happily be customized to provide (dare I proclaim) the best breakfast in North Carolina! And at a reasonable price. There are two issues: The sanitation rating. At 94, I would have liked to see it higher. Also, the wait time was considerable. It was early Saturday afternoon and we waited about 25 minutes for a table, but it was worth it. read more

Make sure you get here before 8:30 am else you are going to have a long wait! There's a reason for this... the food!!! I was going to have the South of the Border Omelette without the jalapeño's and peppers until I saw the Mexican Chorizo omelette which is basically the same but with sausage that is just a little spicy... not set you on fire spicy just a little zip to it. I had enough for two meals. My wife had one of breakfast egg & pancake specials and was very full when we left. All in all, I can't wait to bring my whole family... even the picky eaters. had some business to attend in lieu of work so I stopped here for some victuals while waiting for said business to open. light crowd when I arrived, but I still took a seat at the far end of the counter to put some additional space between me and any potential plague particles because, well, you know... coffee and iced waters and a menu and a few minutes later I'm asking about country fried steak :-) not much longer and I'm enjoying a plate full up with breakfast: steak is totally country fried and covered in a fair amount of sausagey gravy; thick but not too thick with easily recognizable sausage bits flavoring it up. hash browns are shredded and arrive in a clever plank form; browned on the outside and ready for sopping up the yolky parts of three eggs sunny sided. all this got a healthy splattering of hot saucery (choice of three available) and a biscuit waiting along side. hard to complain about the portion size or substance but I'll have a go: I got used to a lighter, crispier breading when I lived a bit west of here. so yeah, when that's my biggest complaint I have no complaints. breakfast was totally eaty and I am a member in good standing of the clean plate club! read more

My friend recommended Breakfastime where I literally broke my fast this morning. I'd been eating only limited foods and then clear liquids for a few prior to my appointment with the doctor this morning. Boy what an awesome breakfast spot. This place has more-or-less any breakfast item you could want on the menu. The menu also offers sandwiches, burgers, salads and cold plates for lunch. (Hours are 6am to 3pm , daily) I had the Eggs Benedict (pictured) with home fries served with onions, peppers, and cheese, one of my favorite dishes. Delicious! The food here is high quality, served with pride at a reasonable price by friendly, efficient wait staff. HIGHLY recommended. Be sure to factor in a short wait, especially on weekend days -- that's a small price to pay for such a terrific breakfast. read more

This place has always been my go-to breakfast spot. I'm sad to say that I saw a roach in the window area where the cooks sit the food that's ready to go out! I could not believe my eyes because the place appears clean every time I patronized here. When there's one roach there are many and they multiply rapidly. I did notify the staff and I'm glad they didn't make me think I was hallucinating. This is why I'm giving them 2 stars as opposed to 1 star along with the previous visits that have been good. I also noticed their sanitation score of 95 upon checkout, I believe their last inspection was in December 2022 if I recall correctly. These scores are not equivalent to grade school which means 95 is not good. I hope they get this issue resolved, I will be keeping an eye out for future inspections. read more

I was unbelievably stuffed when I left this place. They are wholesome and delicious with their portion sizes and the food was cooked to perfection. Also pleasantly surprised on the fair prices. I got myself home fries with grilled onions feta jalapeños and tomatoes, scrambled egg whites, smoked sausage, bacon, strawberry French toast and an orange juice. I had to tap out on a couple pieces of sausage and a big portion of my home fries but I was undoubtedly satisfied when I left the restaurant. I will definitely be going back to try more of what they have to offer!! Only next time hopefully my stomach can keep up with how big my eyes though LOL read more

Located in a former Bob Evans, this spot right off the Interstate is perfect for breakfast. It's clean, it's comfortable and on a weekday, it was surprisingly busy. I was brought to a table immediately by a pleasant hostess and my waitress took my coffee order. When she returned with the mug, I placed my breakfast order. Not long after, a very large platter arrived looking mostly empty as it only had the two eggs benedict and a good portion of hash browns. Unusual plating, really. But after I got past that and dug into this breakfast, it was fine. A good portion with the eggs perfectly cooked, the ham underneath was excellent though the muffin was just a tad underdone. A very minor complaint. The hash browns were perfectly cooked though a little greasy. All told, an excellent breakfast. I am so glad that I chose Breakfasttime instead of the Barrel folks across the way! read more

I enjoyed mostly everything about this place--the food, the service, the rustic setting. It's now the only other local restaurant I know that serves a Belgian waffle that isn't too heavy. And the servers there are friendly, like "get to know you by name and ask about your kids" friendly. That was refreshing. Ate there 09/01/21 must have new management or owners the food is terrible . The food used to be good but not anymore will never go there again your better off going to Waffle House. Our table feasted on veggie omelettes, French Toast, Bananas Foster pancakes- turkey platter and hash browns perfectly toasted toast n good hot coffee! The only reason I give it 4 n not 5 stars is they totally underestimated our wait 20 minutes became 40 mins but once we sat down our waiter was attentive efficient and warm! I can't get enough of this place. I usually eat here at least once a week! First off, the servers are second to none. I wish every restaurant had servers like these. They don't miss a beat! You hardly ever have to ask for anything because they are right there offering or refilling throughout the meal. Secondly, the food is always on point.
