This is a small family restaurant that does a nice amount of business. The interior is small as far as seating with maybe a dozen booths. Folks did both: eat in and also ordered items to go. Bring a creature of habit got French toast with 3 chicken wings. All food is cooked to order so allow at least 15-20 minutes. Dem wings was on point! Brown, well seasoned and hot!. Stopped here after church to grab some brunch. We dined in and were able to sit ourselves. The waitress came over within 5 mins of us sitting. There aren't many non fast food breakfast spots on this side of town. Those that do exist tend to be an arm and a leg. So it was nice to drop in here. If you're looking for fast, hot and pretty good diner food that's not too pricy, I'd send you here. Gives Waffle House without the possible chaos. It actually reminds me a little of the coney island restaurants that are on every corner in Detroit. I see that they also offer lunch and dinner. Definitely a welcome environment. My breakfast was quite filling before my father hit the road back to Maryland. The service was top notch.

My daughter and I popped in here for an impromptu brunch. The restaurant is small and cozy. Norma, was our waitress she welcomed us in and offered us a table. Norma, was very personable and friendly. My waffle wasn't bad but definitely 5 star presentation, however. My daughter had buffalo wings and fries. They were good. This is a brunch spot that closes at 3 PM. It was okay. Middle of the road. We wanted something that was a step up from Waffle House. This was not. I would have preferred Waffle House. The waffle was boring. Just a light plain Belgian waffle. Two small margarine cups and some syrup. The sausage wasn't great. Wasn't bad. Just boring. Eggs were just pain and boring. Hash browns were basic. It all seemed like what I could accomplish with a toaster waffle and a frying pan. I'm not a great cook but this was all just very basic. Service was okay. We asked for a water and chocolate milk. So my team and I decided to eat at this location I was very very happy that we did the owner and his family just happened to be at the restaurant it was open late but we had a blast the food was good I loved the Bourbon chicken and waffles forgive me if I didn't get the name of the dish correct. One bit into the food I was hooked hated when it was all gone I wanted more. Fast service you could tell the chef loves what he does, because you could feel it in the taste. Very creative menu items, great place to sit and chill. Clean from top to bottom family friendly safe. I'll be back soon and can't wait to eat there again. It reminds me of someone's kitchen where the food tastes homemade the sound of the tv reminds you of your childhood Saturday morning. The people walking in are your everyday customers so it makes it that much better. With the two of us and all that we ate our bill was only $20!!! The sound of the grill going, CBS morning news, spoons hitting against coffee cups, and every once in a while the door opening is what I like to call a Saturday morning.
