I would most definitely recommend this establishment... The food is very good and they give good portions... Prices per meal are very reasonable... I suggest you check out the specials board before you order your meal I'm sure you won't be sorry... The waitresses are very friendly and helpful and they also make you feel welcome...

Breakfast Nook is a small morning/afternoon luncheonette in the Borough of Riverton, NJ, right across Bannard Street from the Cinnaminson Light Rail Station very close by the Delaware River. It sits on the first floor of a warehouse-looking building, not normally a place I'd look for breakfast. Still, it is a bright and clean house with a dozen or so tables and counter service toward the rear. I plopped down on a stool and settled in as a server welcomed me, brought me coffee, milk and a menu. I appreciated the fresh milk availability in lieu of mini moo. The specials board caught my attention with its offer of a sausage, egg and cheese on grilled rye sandwich (with home fries, $7). It called my name. It was a very good sammy. Crisp, grill toasted bread, with tasty patty, sharp cheddar and still lightly drippy fried egg. Just the way I like it. The home fries were copious, with dark nibs throughout, and just greasy enough for max flavor. Coffee wasn't memorable, but it was hot and bracing on a cool late November morn. While looking around I saw three wooden plates on the wall, each with the name of a restaurant owned by this team. Kelly's Kitchen in Bensalem, PA, Dredge Harbor Cafe in Riverton and Breakfast Nook. I had now eaten in all three, and wondered if there was a prize for this accomplishment. Probably not, but there ought to be at least a cupcake in recognition. Maybe they'll read this and let me know.

The Breakfast Nook Cafe was a great little diner we have never been there before. The service was excellent and the breakfast was just as good. I had a mushroom and cheese omelette with scrapple and my Wife had sausage and eggs. We both enjoyed our breakfast. They brought out a shot of orange juice lol. I dont know why places do this. The atmosphere was immaculate except I had to wipe a few crumbs off of my seat before I sat down. I would absolutely visit again. The prices were reasonable and the quality of food and service was Fantastic.

Stopped by for lunch after Sunday mass. There's plenty of seating and our party of six was seated right away. The service was pretty efficient and friendly, but it was noon and they were out of bacon and all of their fruit?? They didn't tell us until after we ordered, so some of us had to change had to change orders on the spot. I was in the mood for avocado toast, but they don't carry this, nor did I see any other sides of plain toast on the menu. I ordered the grilled cheese. It was nothing special, maybe just a slice or two of American cheese. It also came with a side of chips, which apparently come in a Herr's bag. Okay, that's fine since I wasn't too hungry and I could just put it in my purse. It also came with a pickle, which wasn't mentioned on the menu, and unfortunately came out touching my grilled cheese- I'd have asked them to hold the pickle if I'd known. The service was pretty good and the prices were just okay, but probably not worth the quality of food that you get. If I had the choice, I wouldn't return.

Don't let the location of the Breakfast Nook fool you! It's located on the ground floor of what appears to be a warehouse type building and it's just across the street from the Cinnaminson RiverLine stop. There are always a lot of cars there and so my husband and I decided we needed to check the place out. It's now one of our favorite places to go for breakfast! It reminds me of a small Jersey diner with a super friendly wait staff. They only have a few booths along one wall and the rest is all tables or you can sit at the counter. They have several breakfast specials and my favorite thing to get there are their waffles! So good and just crispy enough! If only they had real maple syrup to go with it! Be sure to bring cash with you because they don't accept credit cards or checks!

This place is slow and gross . I've been going here for years and it's slowly getting worse and worse. I came in today and was waiting for about 5-8 minutes for my drink order and then 10 minutes to order my food. Then proceeded to wait 30 minutes for my chicken cheesesteak which was trash and the bread tasted stale. The waitress was lazy and came over one time, we had to go to the front to get our check because she would not come to our table. She was so lazy and moseying around the restaurant and kept looking at us but never came over. This is the worst experience i've ever had and it keeps going down.

Ok. 3 stars because the food was good! So why not 5 stars? The service! My waitress was kinda rude, it wasn't that direct rudeness but the kind that makes you think is she being rude. Her name was Rhonda and she did Everything too fast as if I was taking too much of her time by placing an order. I ordered a one egg special than a single waffle. The special was $5.00 with a up charge for turkey sausage. That was great. But just one waffle was $6.00?!? I thought that was kinda of expensive, but shame on me for not asking before I ordered because the price of the waffle wasn't listed on the menu. I originally ordered a Diet Coke but she brings a Diet Pepsi, I don't drink Diet Pepsi even though some people will say it's the same thing. She should've told me that they didn't have Diet Coke not just give me what she thought I wanted. So overall it could be a nice little spot but I won't be returning. Service is king to me!

If you're black, they do not want to serve you.

Never have I ever seen a restaurant that's blatantly disrespectful and racist. I came in to place a take out order. The waitress just looked at me and kept going as if I didn't exist. I had to ask for a menu and the lady who gave it to me act as if she didn't want me to ask for a menu. The the young lady working the counter tells me she'll be with me one moment, then goes around to all the servers asking someone to assist me, while she caters to her white customers and have casual talk while pouring coffee, to avoid taking my order. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone of color. But considering it was filled with ONLY white customers, I'm going to assume that the locals already know the type of treatment blacks receive here. It's truly sad

We ordered our wings with the sauce on the side. I think that's the way to go so the wings stay crispy. They have a lot of wing sauce options. We also ordered the Cheese Steak Egg Rolls and Cheese Balls as appetizers. Both were pretty good. There is a large parking lot and we even saw some chickens roaming around. The space is a good size with a large bar in the middle. Service was good. Probably wouldn't go out of our way to come back but if we were ever back in the area we would stop by.

The TV had QVC on it - asked for it to be changed. The guests before us must have spilled their drink on the floor. The straw and lemon were under my feet along with the wet puddle. I didn't want my jacket or purse to get wet. We started with the mini cheese panzarotti's came with side of marinara. This cheese inside was so good. Ordered tots for the table, so hot and crispy. Hit the spot!! We also got two orders of wings. Honey and the buffalo garlic parm. Didn't read reviews or look at pictures. They don't cut the flats, and that's my favorite wing. It is still with that other part of the chicken wing. The wings come in a bowl and they are saucy. I would prefer tossed then in a basket. Our oldest kid had a burger with a kids salad. Thanks for having a kids salad as an option!! That was great. Overall, the food was good, we were nearby for a soccer game, so it did the job. I wouldn't go out of my way, but I would give it what it was for the feel of the place. Our main waitress was just ok, but another woman walking around and checking in was way more pleasant, she also changed the channel from QVC to golf for us. Check it out - the wings were good, very interesting style.

It was also Mother's Day brunch which I believe may have played a role in the overall experience too given the number of tables they were turning over, but with serving just a buffet and being what seemed like properly staffed I expected better. The food - horrible! I mean the warming dishes weren't even ignited and for the ones that weren't empty, the remaining scraps of food were overcooked, cold and beyond bland. Honestly better tasting food at a Chinese buffet. The "raw bar" was the best thing available - and that's only because they had nice sized shrimp but were out of whatever items were also supposed to be a part of it. My Bloody Mary was atrocious! Tomato juice and tobacco was basically what it was. Our server John was really nice and energetic and doing the best he could - everything he could control was controlled so he deserves more than the 2 stars this review is receiving. Oh and the best part, this was $75 per person and not including a single mimosa. But they did give all the women a single stem rose when the check was requested tho lol.
