It's no longer cafeteria style, you order on a kiosk but tell your sides to the counter person once you order. I got the small chicken parm. It was still a very nice portion size. Sides came in small containers instead of the sectioned platters previously offered. Rice pudding and their famous cheese dips are available in the refrigerated cases. They still have a beer take out section but have added alcoholic slushies to go! They look yummy! The inside eating area is small. There are some video games and lottery available onsite as well. Unfortunately it is uncomfortably warm inside. I do not recommend eating onsite, I think this is more of a to go kind of location. I felt bad for the employees, I really hope they upgrade their HVAC. Things are pretty packed here but we got a table, and were helped and served quickly, and checked on regularly. Our table got the usual: Cactus Blossom, ~6 baskets of bread over the course of the meal, and individual meals. We shared a 12 oz. ribeye w/ ribs combo. Today it was actually not as good as usual, a bit more medium rather than medium rare, and the ribs were dry on the outer half. However, still a completely filling and enjoyable meal all things considered. Pro-tip: put the last bits of your Cactus Blossom in a bun with both butter and sauce for a treat that is much more unhealthy and delicious than you bargained for. However, the sides are hit or miss. Fries tend to be soggy and soft. The Caesar salad was once dependable as a "good" side but they seem to have reduced the quality and even the amount of dressing they put on it, maybe as a cost saving measure? To me the biggest issue here is the drastic inconsistency in quality of service. Sometimes you score a great server, but I'd say 75% of the time it is someone who seems to lack training in basic steps of service (getting the order right, following up on satisfaction a few minutes after food delivery, following up on drinks, etc.). It's a shame as this location had higher standards in the past.
