Maggie's. You took one of the best things off of your menu. The chicken itialiano. The sandwich loved so much I even made a Tic Tok about. I'm brokenhearted. Been coming to Maggie's for years and really cannot complain about any of their food items. From sandwiches to pizzas to apps done right. We have always left satisfied. The main negatives I have are the incessant nickel and dining - today's surprise an extra .75 for a tiny cup of dressing. Ask for a little more blue cheese for the wings - $$ - The servers ALWAYS ask if you want cheese for your fries but don't tell you it's a $1 extra. These things aren't a big expense but the added charges seem sneaky. The turnover rate at Maggie's is like none I've seen. Every time we go there is another fresh set of faces. That speaks to the work environment and management.. What I can say, is that Maggie's is consistent. They have a decent long running happy hour. Quizzes/trivia nights. A huge bar and indoor/outdoor seating. We will still be back just because we've been regulars for so long but as with any long standing relationship, the little things are starting to be a bit more of an annoyance than they used to be.

Love Maggie's! Food is always good and drink selection is great! Third year coming here for our holiday team happy hour because the atmosphere is great for a small team. We got the seasonal special poutine fries and Ruben balls that were amazing and seasonal cocktails. The fried pickles are a must! Great food and service always.

Found a new spot for when I'm in the other side of the river. Great waterfront restaurant offering a great selection of beers, good pub grub, great views, plenty of TVs to watch sports. Good selection of cocktails. Indoor and outdoor seating. Wonderful service! The creamy crab soup was delicious. The Cajun shrimp appetizer was awesome. Good thing they give you bread to sop up all the delicious sauce. The French dip was very good! Crinkle cut fries - love them. Awesome looking daily specials and happy hours .

We came here for a team lunch and were seated outside fairly quickly so we were able to see the waterfront. We didn't have reservations so we got lucky to even get seated - pretty packed for a Wednesday at 1pm. The food is typical bar food. I ordered the fish tacos (corn tortillas) and it was so bland. It was soggy from the pico de gallo and chipotle sauce. The chipotle sauce was not good. I wished I would have ordered what I originally wanted which was the Margherita pizza (ugh). We also ordered appetizers (the sampler) and they also were not good. The only thing I really enjoyed were the french fries. Our waiter was nice but it was busy so he seemed to have a lot of tables.

Different Cheesesteak #1200. I got a cheesesteak with fried onions and cheese sauce. It comes with french fries. I got the Maggie seasoning on my fries (touch of sugar) and dipping sauce. I was extremely happy to find out that all of that was included. $17. The cheesesteak was goodish. It came on a good seeded roll. The meat was thinly sliced and finely chopped. I think a thicker slice would produce more steak flavor. Onions added a little flavor. The cheese sauce favored the bottom of the cheesesteak. Top bite was drier than the bottom bite. The sweet potato fries with Maggie seasoning were heavenly. Add the dipping sauce and the fries became whatever is better than heavenly. The bartender was very good. Big loud crowd.

What an amazing time we had celebrating our daughter's birthday Our server, Jill, was wonderful, attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and filling. Great family atmosphere, definitely enjoyed the music that was being played. Also enjoyed the different televisions tuned into different sporting events. It had been a long time since I last visited and I'm glad we were able to get back there again. Will be back hopefully soon.

Room

I hosted my daughters wedding shower at Maggie's in the upstairs river view room and it was perfect! The staff, Paul, BethAnn and team were beyond accommodating and helpful. The brunch buffet was an absolute hit! The waffles, frittata and Chicken Francaise were delicious. The space itself is beautiful and offers the best of NE Philly. I am looking for an excuse to host another party here it was so fun! Thank you to all!

Indoor-outdoor dining

Big menu, nice indoor/outdoor seating, and beer list doesn't change much but has some different options as well as the usual suspects. My steak sandwich was just OK, but the roast pork sandwich I had was really good. Their special fries were OK but I preferred the regular ones. Service is pretty solid, although they can get busy sometimes. Location is nice in that not too far off of 95, but also looks right across the street to the Delaware River and NJ, with a couple parks right within walking distance. Plenty of parking whenever we've gone. Have come back a few times and will again in the future.

Had the pleasure of having Kayla T, as a server this memorial day, she was fantastic. Food was top tier, great waterfront ambiance!

The only problem is that it's not exactly convenient for us since we live in Jersey. Luckily for us, we wandered across the bridge and finally had the opportunity to give this place a try. We shared a cheesesteak with Cooper cheese and also ordered the Italiano chicken cutlet. Unfortunately, there was a little mix-up with our order, and instead of the chicken cutlet, we received the "Joey's Hot Honey." The cheesesteak was fantastic--packed with steak and cheese and served on a perfect seeded roll. And even though the Joey's Hot Honey wasn't what we ordered, it was absolutely delicious as well. We ended up taking it home with us, and after an hour-long drive, it was still delicious. We both agreed it probably would have been even better fresh off the grill. Mistakes happen, and honestly, I can't find it in my heart to give Cafe Carmela anything less than five stars. The food lived up to the hype, and we're glad we finally made the trip. Definitely worth the hype in my opinion. Five stars!

Its a good value, $16 for a heavy sandwich. 2 ppl or one obese person can be satisfied off it. Roll was decent but it got ruined from the large amount of seed oil they added into the cooking process. The roll actually split along the sides as i was eating it - violation. Grilled onions were under-cooked and way too many added. Customer service was good. Friendly ppl. Smells amazing in the restaurant. Provolone sharp is great. Much better option than cooper and its harder to find but Carmelas had it. Overall decent steak but it didnt meet expectations for me

Maranucci's Deli serves one of the best sandwiches I've had in Philadelphia…read more This is likely to poke the cheesesteak or roast pork purist out there but I'm gonna say it anyways... The corned beef hoagie at Marinucci's Deli is incomparable. It is layered with paper thin slices that are rich but never heavy. The dressing is balanced, the coleslaw adds a nice tang, and the shredded lettuce brings a fresh crunch that ties it all together. That's not enough. If you're from Philly you know that none of the above matters if your bread sucks. Well... Marinucci's offers seeded and unseeded rolls that are incredible. Please join me in thanking baby Buddha for this crusty, chewy yet fluffy vessel of perfection. The hoagie is massive, about the length of two of my hands long, and consistently excellent from first bite to last. When I first unrolled the hoagie my immediate thoughts were that I would never finish this in one sitting. I was right but you do you boo. The service matches the quality. It is an old school deli line that moves fast, with orders handled quickly and accurately even during a rush. Key word is ACCURATELY. Who knew that in 2026 whether or not a business can make your order accurately would be a thing but here we are. It's an important mention because this little detail tells me that they actually give AF. Ambiance: think classic Philly deli but without the attitude or aggression. Add chips and rice pudding to complete your order :)

I was lucky enough to attend an Elite event including RTF beforehand- so I wasn't signing up for this with a completely blind eye. What's nice about RTF being able to have this event is that it might be more accessible to people in the area because it's a one time deal. The meal kit delivery service maybe could be a one time deal too, but I am not sure. I also learned that RTF shines on its own with the meal delivery kit service because they serve fresh food. Purple Carrot, Thistle, and Sakara Life are all frozen (or placed in a refrigerated package) even though accessible nationally. RTF can only deliver in the Philadelphia area and pickup would have to be done in a limited time frame of around ~11-1 on-site on a Monday if not opting for delivery service. Before the meal started, chef Josh introduced his event team. He expressed some personal stories that went into the dishes such as how he created a classier version of hummus on his own from his learnings and desire for hummus. Then something about his mother making the latke. So, he "had to" have a dish based on this and his mother was present at the event. His version of a chef based hummus was creamy with fresh vegetable accessories and it definitely made me like hummus a lot more than your typical grocery store. Third came the risotto dish- my dish was a bit too oily, but fine otherwise. Then, the King Trumpet mushroom platter which replicated a "steak" with the mushroom just being slightly perfectly burnt. At least one of my friends did not like the King Mushroom- they may not be used to pricier things that are a bit different than what they are used to. The cauliflower puree added was essential to make this dish stand out. Lastly, dessert was a lemon black sesame cake with coconut cream and peaches. This was an Internet recipe as Josh is not as big on bakery (if I remember correctly), but the interpretation came out fabulous anyway! It's hard to choose one "best" item as it was a tie between the hummus, King Mushroom dish, and the dessert cake for me. The day ended with optional coffee w brown sugar and a choice of soy milk or oat Milk and a surprise chocolate chip cookies mini gift bag. (All unpictured) When I wanted to speak to Josh as he was in the back area cleaning up, his mother half-jokingly told me that he probably didn't want to hear from her. It looked like his mother pulled him out from whatever he was doing, but he was nice to spend some time with me and hopefully got some good ideas he can implement. We talked about how he had extra ingredients he would not want to waste and I mentioned TooGoodToGo. So, if you see an RTF TooGoodToGo, you heard it here first! Nothing But Love Soulfood Catering uses TooGoodToGo at the Culinary Collective. I learned that there was significant cost to rent the dining area even though rent is already paid to use the kitchen setup of the Culinary Collective. There was cost for the staff and the food is fresh. Many of the ingredients chosen are a higher quality and standard, and people don't always realize this. The availability of various items may not have been known except within a limited time frame.
