If your girl is pregnant she might get discriminated. Just want to point it out before I write this long review, that I did call prior and asked if it was okay to bring a pregnant girl to their billiards bar, which they said it was okay. First of all I would never put my girl in any type of danger or in a establishment that maybe violent. As the photo shows I called this establishment prior to me going. I asked if it was okay to bring a pregnant girl due to the fact that I was going to meet a couple of friends there. She wasn't going to drink, and only spend time with me and our friends at the establishment. Once it hit a certain (passed 10 p.m) time that the employee I spoke to over the phone didn't state, that they apparently don't let people in if the establishment is at capacity (I understand it's a fire hazard) . That's fine I would've been okay if they stated that prior to me making a big deal out of it. As I am explaining the situation to one of the bouncer prior to me asking if it was okay for me to speak to a manager, the bouncer and associate were making it seem like it was my fault for me to bring a pregnant girl out( since when can a pregnant girl not go out), my girl is 7 months and wanted to enjoy the fight with our friends and I explained to them that I called prior to us getting there if it was okay (that's why I we choose this place, if not would've gone somewhere else, like home or millers ale house). Now I'm speaking to the manager I forgot his name, I'm explaining to him the situation, and he tells me they can't let people in due to the place being at capacity and that yeah he's the manager but he doesn't control the bouncers. That the bouncers deem who they let in. As that is happening a friend of mine that wasn't there prior( first time being at the establishment) got let in, and I ask this friend of mine, was she they're before, in front of the manager to gauge his reaction, she said no he just let me in, all while my girl that is pregnant is down stairs waiting in the cold. So I ask the manager why did you clearly let someone who wasn't here before up (not just my friend, other people) and my girl still has to wait in the cold. I mean we have her seat saved by the the section. and we just ordered her food, and he says he doesn't control who the bouncers let in. I asked him how is it they can choose who they deem worthy to come up, it's unfair. So he says I'm sorry I am the manager but the bouncers say who they let in (pretty much saying your screwed go somewhere else). Now I'm not mad if they would've been straight forward and told me from the beginning that it wasn't a safe environment, or that they can't guarantee the safety of their customers( not pregnant and pregnant alike), because the bouncer upstair and his female associate clearly said " what if a fight breaks out, how do you know nothing will happen to her". I told them how do we even know if a fight will break out, and isn't that why you have bouncers? I also told them I called prior, I had other options like watching the fight at home or go to another establishment, but when I spoke to them at 7:20 p.m they said it's fine and that's why me and my 4 other friends chose this place instead of going somewhere else. Also if your in that a situation (waiting outside situation) where the bouncer says I can't let you in, yet he's letting people in, you would obviously say something. Now the part the pissed me off is that, as soon as the bouncer noticed my girl was approaching him and he yells "stop, just stop, I know what your gonna ask" so my woman (I'm upstairs talking to the manager) says "why are you yelling at me, stop yelling at me you have no right to" and the bouncer says " I was just looking at you because I was just going to tell you to come up, but see now your not going up". All because she said stop yelling at me you have no right to, and he said " you just need to stop because I know you were gonna ask why am I letting other people up". Obviously someone is gonna ask why, when clearly your not letting some up & some in. I also have a video of him saying it. read more
