Breakfast bagel with Bacon, Egg and Cheese

Solid, quick breakfast spot! Chocolate croissant had a good bread, but the chocolate was a bit limited. Breakfast bagel sandwich was good too!

Large portions! The breakfast sandwich is huge! I just wish it said marinated steak - I wasn't a fan of the flavor. Pricey but yummy. I'd go back!

the coffee, pastries and food are all average in my experience. the breakfast sandwich is a bit pricey for the quality. pastries all are on the sweeter side. nice location but probably won't revisit often

This morning I ordered an egg & cheese bagel along with a chocolate filled croissant. To drink I ordered the Iced Chai tea which was fabulous. I thought it was a bit strange that I was the only oatron in the cafe, but I sat a table anyway. I didn't think that any of the employees were that friendly. Nobody greeted me, and when I asked a question about the croissant, it seemed like the male employee begrudgedly answered my question. Then as I was eating, he started to sweep the floor and he even was sweeping right near where I was eating. I got the impression that nobody working here really cared whether I was there or not. The bagel breakfast sandwich was good, and I believe that it was simplybre-heated in the microwave. If I wanted to feel ignored I would have gobe to the big chain coffee store. This cafe is nothing to write home about in mybl opinion.

Very cute cafe, plenty of seats and the service was great. I forgot the name of my cake :(

Meh. Omelettes straddled the line between fine and disgusting. Cupcake was hard and tasteless.

Birthday cake for breakfast? Say less!…read more I've been dying to try South Block's seasonal Birthday Cake Smoothie because I'm a sucker for anything birthday cake flavored. With this week's heat wave, Thursday felt like the perfect excuse to finally treat myself. The Birthday Cake Smoothie is made with almond milk, banana, vanilla, granola, maple syrup, plant protein, and topped with a dollop of blue CocoWhip, a cherry twist, and sprinkles. I swapped the plant protein for whey protein, and it absolutely hit the spot. It was creamy, refreshing, and definitely gave me the birthday cake vibes I was hoping for without being overly sweet. I ordered ahead through the app, and my smoothie was ready right on time. I also appreciated their pickup setup. Completed orders are placed in a freezer at the counter, so you can simply grab your drink and keep it moving. Quick, easy, and perfect for busy mornings. One thing I love about this location is being inside Union Market. There are plenty of places to sit if you want to enjoy your smoothie or bowl. Now, if you've ever been to Union Market on a weekend or evening, you already know finding a seat can feel like a competitive sport. But in the mornings, it's much calmer with far less foot traffic, making it a great time to visit. Price-wise, it's about the same as the South Block near my office in Arlington. Is it expensive? Sure. But honestly, that's just the reality of smoothie and açaí bowl spots these days. At least here, the quality, convenience, and fresh ingredients make it feel worth the splurge every once in a while. I'll definitely be back... especially if they bring this Birthday Cake Smoothie around again.

South Block has scores of options to choose from and I got the peanut butter & jelly. A+. I tried my fiancee's nutella amalgamation and it was just as good. I need to go back! We had such a great time enjoying it on the picnic tables outside. My only complaint was the acai bowl's were so good, our conversation was practically non-existent... we mostly just ate. They were filling, delicious, and broke my brain as to why I had gone this far in life without making this treat a regular in my pursuit of constantly enjoying the most toothsome dishes to be had. I need to go back. Soon.

Its warm, clean design makes it quite welcoming for enjoying avocado toast with smoked salmon, which brings one to a place of spiritual oneness. With white walls, natural wood-grain tables and countertops, Toastique's design radiates minimalist, urban style while remaining inviting. Any time I have been there, the wait times have been stress-free, and the queues move quickly. Food-wise, you can't go wrong with their avocado toast with smoked salmon. With a generous portion of smoked salmon on top of avocado mash, on perfectly toasted sourdough bread, creating a place of tremendous well-being. The cucumbers, marinated tomatoes, red onion, capers, and a sprinkle of microgreens make for a fully satisfying meal without feeling like you are overdoing it with your life choices. Drink-wise, I always go for cold brew and the cold brew never lets me down there. Last time, they had a peanut-butter cold brew and a black cherry one, both of which were magical. This Toastique delivers every time.

My friend and I stopped in here after hours of exploring Cherry Blossoms and Bloomaroo at the Wharf…read more- it was late afternoon on a very busy Saturday. We hoped to find a place that offered decaf coffee since it was late in the day, but really wanted something warm since it was a bit chilly outside. Unfortunately, this location of Toastique does not offer decaf - they only have a single hopper for their coffee, so it is not an offering. We were going to find another place, however, they said how about a hot chocolate or a tea. My friend is vegan and inquired if their hot cocoa was vegan, as most places have dairy in the chocolate. The cashier went to look at the chocolate syrup and also had another person look at it to verify it's vegan. My friend ordered a hot chocolate with oat milk. Even though it was busy, we only waited about 5 minutes for her drink. We appreciated the effort to double check it was vegan, though I do wish they had decaf options.
