Delicious bakery and deli options for dining. Their coffee is always delicious as well. I ordered the broccoli salad and it came out quickly. The bread that came with my salad was filling and had comforting flavor. This location almost always has a line on the weekends and there are limited seating options so keep that in mind!

Coffee's pretty good, baked goods are great, and bread is amazing. Love their breakfast sandwiches and toast, and my daughter adores their bagels. I wouldn't leave there without trying the chewy chocolate chunk cookie, personally!

This is a place we will go grab brunch everytime we go to Woodstock. This time we ordered the food online and was really easy an don't have to wait on line. They get very busy sometimes. We got some sandwiches, curry chicken salad, roasted pork, and the turkey. My favorite was the turkey. It was fresh and moist. The roasted pork was my second favorite though a bit salty but tasty. We called ahead to have their chocolate cake put on hold and they did without any questions asked. That chocolate cake was very fudgey, almost like a fudge bar but in a 6" cake form and 2 layer cake tall. The frosting was cheese cheese and butter base which was the best part. Outside was sprinkled was chop roasted nuts of some sort. Added an extra texture to the cake. It was my daughter's 16th birthday and her favorite is a good chocolate cake. This one did not disappoint. She enjoyed her cake even had leftover to bring back. I was a bit hesitant to get a birthday cake at a bakery but I am glad I gave them a tried. Not only they had the best bread in town, the bake good doesn't disappoint either. The chocolate cake made my daughter's birthday a very memorable one.

Great Hudson Valley bakery. They bake and knead their doughs and breakfast sweets. It has lots of options, in terms of bread styles and breakfast treats. They have sandwiches and soups for lunch, as well as coffees. If you need a place to sit, walk to the back - where there are tables. Staff great! Review: 5

Lovely spot for a breakfast bite - they seem to cater well to both sweet and savory which I appreciate. Coming from NJ though, the bagel could've been fuller. I had complete gaps in the sandwich where egg was missing. But otherwise, a great everything bagel. Free wi-fi. Good service. Nice place to grab and go or to sit and hang out a while. Their location is great for hitting the Saturday/Sunday Flea market nearby!!

Bread Alone Catskill with Almond Butter is a favorite of mine. Posted 11/28/20

Bread Alone has been my favorite bread for years now. I love the loaf called Catskill the best. In the past year I've had more and more trouble finding it in the store. The grocery employees kept saying it was not selling. I called Bread Alone and they were not very helpful. Recently I noticed on their website the Catskill was removed and it said no information about the product. I'm going to call them again and ask if they will be making a loaf compatible with my favorite ingredients as in the Catskill loaf. I enjoy four of their other options so they still get four stars. I find myself searching for other brands to meet my bread addiction needs!

Good bread. Love their SF sourdough. Their seed butter toast and ricotta cheese roast squash toast is good for breakfast.

Amazing pastries and it's evident why they sell out of stuff so fast. The items here are just too good to pass up and are a must try. I was visiting family from Texas. It was my first time trying a Canelé and I was blown away. It was so good that I actually went home and ordered a dozen copper molds to make them myself. And ever since my trip I've been dedicated to perfecting them. My girlfriend also had the ricotta spread on their house toast and loved it!

Pumpkin pie

The best pumpkin pie! So flavorful and the addition of the crumble topping was excellent. I've never seen that before on a pumpkin pie!

The drinks are good here, lines go quick and it's a cool little spot to sip an expresso outside while you people watch.

Yes to prepared sandwiches! NO , Never to slides deli meat, or any meat! Instead of fixing the problem they offered to refund my money. I actually wanted the board head product( without paying sales tax on meat. ) I don't understand what they thought they were or think they're doing. It's illegal!!!! Best deli meat ever ,in my opinion ,is Boars Head & they have it. I've worked at numerous deli's (Adam's) and Supermarkets, ie: Waldbaums, where you had to actually Know what was taxable and not taxable . And I'm sure a bunch of other people can't agree that, meat , in this case,is not taxable. He knew he was wrong. He said he was in the middle of updating his system. But instead of fixing the problem, and taking off the sales tax so I could leave with the meat , I would have loved to have had & give them my money at $13.99 /lb (a bit high, but was willing to pay for it) He offered my money back so that the next unknowing, tourist, (tourist town, or regular person )in particular would go in there and actually pay him the extra bit of money he's getting that you don't have to claim on your tax forms because it's not a section on the form to pay tax on because MEAT IS NOT taxable. So he's collecting money just like my vet did in Lake Katrine New York collected money on my dog's medicine on sales tax until I caught it. Medicine is not taxable at all either. Including Band-Aids, aspirin, medicated shampoo. Just be careful consumers out there. Because if you're not paying attention, they'll take your money, because that is exactly what is happening when they tax items that don't belong BEING TAXED. It's our country's 250th birthday where we didn't pay the sales tax on the TEA ( 250 years later, we're still not paying sales tax on Tea. (Or coffee) You are welcome;-)! I'm sure I am one of the first and few that have noticed tax on meat, in that store & brought it to their attention So hopefully I am not banned from that store. I will let you know in about 60 days or so. Update btw need to say, I really don't want to be that person to "hurt " local businesses but someone needs to know and if it were a big corporation I'd post it too. I obviously didn't buy the meat nor have any thoughts of posting anything about the company.or I'd have had my phone out to screen shot it. But that was my experience trying to get my favorite deli meat (and willing to pay the $2.00 tourists tax I call it jokingly) more per lb than most anywhere in Ulster county but wasn't willing to pay sales tax. Hope they have" fixed ". Their system. What a waste of a pound of turkey too. Rather than acknowledge the fact and sell it to me correctly.

The Japanese clothing retailer is scarily on point and while Sharkie's isn't mentioned by name, if you know of any other prominent meatball merchants in the heart of Woodstock, please promptly let me know. My current go-to is the "Create Your Meatballs with Veggies Bowl." The roasted eggplant ($5.15 per scoop) is superb, especially with the default marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella ($2.58). You can't go wrong with the beef & pork or the turkey meatballs ($6.18 for 2 of the same kind). Chicken meatballs and chickpea vegan balls available too. The only downside is that it can get zoo-like at peak times, but the wait usually isn't too bad. Sharkie's has a bar and three tables so it's not huge. But the easygoing and helpful staff are standouts and handle the crowds with aplomb. Sharkie's has a little grocery store next door with a lot of local foods and frozen meatballs if you want to recreate the Sharkie's experience at home. Bring cash or a debit card for a discount!

really cute spot with so much potential!…read more great service! we sat right at the counter. the house beer was 2 options, and altho i wouldnt order this again, it wasn't bad and the label was cute. i grabbed the sundied tomatoe and chickpea meat(less)balls. i really wanted to like these, but unfortunately they were less than par. they would not stay together, they were too mooshy and fell apart. hopefully they can work on a better biding agent. the flavor was okay. there was plenty of sauce. unfortunately they dont give you bread for the excess sauce. we ordered the bread for the side and i think this was a $6 charge. i guess they figure u can just order the sandwich, but i ordered the bread because there was just so much sauce involved in the meatballs. my date got the regular meatballs and he was pleased. happy to see theres another option for me to try on the menu - the chicken meatballs. would give this place another shot while in town to try them.

At first glance the menu appears vaguely Mexican-inspired, but the cafe's decor and ambiance gives more of a New American feel. I was pretty excited to dive into my burrata sandwich. For me, the dressing is make-or-break for any salad, and I was pleasantly impressed by the side salad here. I was pretty ravenous and happily downed the entire sandwich. On the other hand, the fries were a little thick for my preferences (though that's probably best to slow me down!). It was a solid choice. Just be aware that it's not a quick grab-and-go type of meal (though they do offer takeout), nor is it light fare. In contrast to the other spots we've eaten at in town, Oriole 9 did NOT charge a credit card fee.

The place was very crowded and resembled an upscale cafe with a small bar. The food was farm-to-table and reminded of something I might see in Los Angeles, as many of the menu items were healthy, hearty, and natural. I began with a Matcha Latte with almond milk, which was bold, earthy, and creamy. It was one of the better ones I had ever had. Similarly, I had an incredible Egg White Omelet with my additions of tomatoes, peppers, and mushrooms. It was super fresh, well-seasoned, and not at all greasy. It was served with a small salad of greens, carrots, and grape tomatoes. These tomatoes were a bit mushy, but I enjoyed the dressing on the salad. I also received Rye Toast, which seemed like it had come from a bakery, rather than a supermarket package. My companion had ordered a Pretzel Bun Burger with no cheese and a side of fries. However, since our server did not write down the order, we were a bit nervous. A few moments after, she had come back to the table asking if he wanted breakfast potatoes or fries, to which he repeated "fries". When the burger came, it looked amazing, but was also slathered with cheese, so he had to send it back. When the corrected version arrived, we were impressed with the thickness of the patty. He said the burger was excellent, and I loved the few fries I snagged. Aside from the ordering snafu, we had a great experience at Oriole 9! The menu was vast and offered something for everyone. I would definitely recommend giving it a visit.

It's one of those places where you walk in thinking you're just grabbing a tea/coffee and a quick bite and suddenly you're deciding between getting a quinoa bowl, bagel sandwich, oatmeal, salad or falafel. Somehow, they pull off the menu for every eating lifestyle without feeling cramp. It works for everybody. They have your breakfast basics covered: eggs, rolls, wraps, toast or whatever carb you're in the mood for. If you have a sweet tooth, they have pastries, if you're on a 'healthy' kick, they have bowls. I had The Lox Works and it actually lived up to the name. Plenty of salmon, red onions, a sliver of creamy cream cheese how I like it (I skipped the capers, personal choice). The bagel itself was fresh and had that perfect crisp on the outside and a chewy inside. Except, it's little on the doughy side, and the tomato slices were also thick- but still, the sandwich was tasty. Service was great and considering Nana's is literally on the main strip in Woodstock, the prices are surprisingly chill. My server True, was very nice and she took very good care of me. When you sit down, they give you their regular menu, but then, they also bring a chalkboard of their specials, right to your table. I decided to go with the pasta marinara with the Un-meatballs. To drink, I ordered a ginger ale. That "ginger ale" was a full on ginger beer. It definitely had the ginger "kick" to it, it was very, very good. My food comes, and it is a huge portion. It came with a nice sized side salad, the lettuce was beautifully, crisp, and I'm not sure what the dressing was, but it was delicious, and it, was dressed just right. Not over, not under. It also came with a garlic bread with a "vegan butter" very well done. The main course, was also very very good. The pasta was perfectly Al dente, and the marinara was very good. It had a rich flavor. The Un-meatballs, I could tell that the texture was a little bit different, but they were 100% delicious. Seasoned oh so very well. If I didn't know, I might have thought they were the "real thing" . The only reason I'm taking away a half a star, was the meatballs were just a little bit cool in the middle. Not enough that they took away from the flavor, but enough that I did notice it. Not worth sending back. Maybe they should double check the meatballs with a thermometer. I took some of my pasta in a to go container, and was about to get my check, but then True asked me if I wanted dessert. The "Apple crumble à la mode" caught my eye. I asked her what they used for the "ice cream" and she said it was a cashew based dessert. Curiosity piqued, I decided to go for it. Wow! A total Home run. The apples were not over sweet, and just had a tiny bit of a " bite" to them. Just right. There was a granola topping, and that "ice cream?" it had a softer consistency, but other than that, it tasted just like the real thing. I would gladly plop down in front of my TV with a giant bowl of that stuff. I jokingly asked True, "are you sure you didn't slip me a scoop of the real stuff?" it was that good... The Price for everything was a bit on the high end, but for the quantity and quality, very reasonable. I will come back. Thank you.
