Just took an intro Pilates class here this morning with Aaliyah and loved it! If you're new to…read morereformer Pilates or want a class that's more focused on form and stretch, this is for you. They do fill up the entire class so the instructor isn't demonstrating how to do the moves, but she does walk around and correct form/help you transition. I appreciated this class was so much more focused on making sure you nail the basics because too many trendy studios try to "push" students do harder moves than their core is ready for. I already weight lift so I like Pilates to help me recover and practice good form (especially because I'm prone to not engage my core enough when I lift!). I'm sure their non beginner class is more challenging, but this was a perfect, restorative Saturday morning work out. I also liked the intro course because there were students from all age groups and no pretentious vibe that I've had at other studios where students judge if you're in aesthetic clothes or not (people ranged from cute fits to comfy gym clothes so you can totally do both here). Looking forward to coming back whenever I need a good recovery stretch and to perfect my core strength!

It really engages the whole body and working one muscle group. For Reformer: bring grip socks or else you'll have to buy it from the studio. I also took a yoga class. You can grab 2 yoga mats to make it more cushioned. The class itself was ok, I'm new to yoga so some of the exercises were hard esp holding the position with your abs. For Yoga: don't need to bring anything . They provide yoga mats What kept bothering me was the amount of ants on the ground near where I was. It was super bothersome. I couldn't even concentrate on the class. Even though I killed some ants, there were still more crawling on my mat and around my area. I told the instructor who said she'll let the owner know. I hope the owner cleans the studio. Parking is around the building and free parking. The location of the entrance of the building is on the street side so you'll have to walk to the street side to enter the place.

I was 214 pounds (I'm 5'2) and got winded chasing my son around the living room. I went straight to the RED/GREEN series and am now down to 198 along with eating better. And I can keep up with my running toddler! It was quite a challenge at first and while I still modify some of the poses, I leave having done a great workout! If you're new to hot yoga, I highly recommend starting with Alex Roberts or Kya Warren so you learn the modifications. They are great at going through the levels of each pose. For a high intensity workout, I recommend taking Danny or Bella! I always leave feeling so pumped and having done a great workout. My schedule is limited so I just take who is teaching during my availability but some other great instructors I've taken are: Evan, Danielle, and Katelin.

After every class, the instructor cleans the room floors for the next class to enjoy, which I really liked. I would recommend to try all the different instructors to find your fit. I love instructors that walk around the class, and focus on people's form to help them get better. The only thing that was off for me was, if an instructor substitutes for another instructor, I recommend to please not talk badly about the class you are currently teaching/substituting for. It may not be your level, but the students are in there for a reason. It put a sour mindset for me with that one instructor, and would probably never take that person's class ever again. The lack of professionalism deterred this review from 5 stars. Other than that one instructor, I really did enjoy this hot yoga location. Thank you Purple Yoga.

I haven't had a chance to take every class or meet all of the teachers because of my schedule and pregnancy limiting what I can do, but Rowan's gentle yoga is amazing, Stephanie's Restorative and Meditation and Sound Bath classes are a must, and the owner Tina's Meditation and Sound Bath classes are fantastic. Those are just some of my favs that fit my schedule and limitations. I've only heard positive reviews of the others from other members. They have a great selection of classes for all levels and will help give you modifications if you need (they've all been super wonderful at helping me navigate the positions I can't do carrying the baby). The first several classes were really difficult, but I was immediately hooked!! It was exactly what I needed--- strengthening core, abs, arms, legs, and seat!!! Since the movements are low-impact, it is perfect for new moms whose bodies are still healing and recovering. The classes are still challenging, but I can definitely tell that I am getting stronger. I still have a long journey ahead of me to get back into my pre-baby shape, but I am so glad I chose pure barre to do it. All the instructors/staff are very knowledgeable and welcoming. They make sure to fix your forms. Every instructor/class has different styles so the classes are never the same, never boring. As I prepare to go back to work, I do wish there were later class times. As of now, 7pm is the latest. Finally, it is a great work out environment; it's very inspiring and motivating to be able to work out surrounded by so many strong ladies!

The instructor was nice and upbeat. Gave MANY hands on corrections which was appreciated but a bit uncomfortable at times. I did not know she would be touching places such as my chest and butt. Usually in my yoga classes we are asked if we are comfortable being touched and given corrections. However that was not communicated at this studio and the hands on nature was immediate and a bit uncomfortable for someone who was not prepared for it. Especially in more private areas such as the butt. Class was great- very hard and may be tough for beginners. Overall I do not think I will return given the price and the atmosphere.

Since it was my first time at the studio, I came early. There was plenty of parking in the plaza. Upon entering, the studio had a lot of plants. They also had a great tea selection in front. I checked-in with my instructor Tina and she gave me a quick tour of the studio. We went to the aerial silks to pick one that was the height for me. I also recommend coming early so the instructor can adjust your silk to the height you need. Tina had an amazing south bath set up, more equipment than other studios I have been to. She has a peaceful and intuitive energy about her. I am familiar with silks so I didn't need directions to get in, but I heard her give really helpful instructions to the students who were first timers to aerial. When it was class time, we all got into the silks in a cocoon pose. Tina mentioned students usually like to be on their backs or their sides. I normally lay on my back but that intrigued me so I also tried laying on my side during class to experience the difference. The sound bath was so soothing, I emerged from my cocoon a beautiful relaxed butterfly. There were definitely students who dozed off and fell asleep passed the end of class. A great restorative class led by a great instructor. I would love to come back to this studio when my schedule permits for more classes with Tina. Until next time!
