I've been coming here for a few months now and I am quite pleased with Purple Yoga! I started doing this 12 months postpartum and completely out of shape. I was 214 pounds (I'm 5'2) and got winded chasing my son around the living room. I went straight to the RED/GREEN series and am now down to 198 along with eating better. And I can keep up with my running toddler! It was quite a challenge at first and while I still modify some of the poses, I leave having done a great workout! If you're new to hot yoga, I highly recommend starting with Alex Roberts or Kya Warren so you learn the modifications. They are great at going through the levels of each pose. For a high intensity workout, I recommend taking Danny or Bella! I always leave feeling so pumped and having done a great workout. My schedule is limited so I just take who is teaching during my availability but some other great instructors I've taken are: Evan, Danielle, and Katelin. read more

DID THIS HAPPEN TO YOU??? IS THIS LEGAL???? My first yoga studio was Purple Yoga back in 2014. I loved attending classes--sometimes with friends, sometimes solo. Since I wasn't sure how committed I'd be, I started by purchasing single classes here and there. Eventually it grew into something I wanted to continue, so I began buying class packs at the discounted rate. Around 2017, I moved about 30 miles away, so I unfortunately had to stop going to Purple Yoga (a 1.5-hour round trip for a yoga class wasn't ideal). Life got busy: I got married, COVID hit and the studio closed, I got pregnant, had a baby, and finally--now that I could breathe a bit--I decided it was time to work on my "mommy pouch." I logged into Purple Yoga's new platform to schedule a class... only to discover that all of my class packs had disappeared. I immediately called the studio, and they told me a manager would look into it. A couple of days later, I received an email from Kim stating that my class packs had expired in August 2025. When I originally purchased these packs, no agreement was presented, and there were no expiration dates listed. So it's strange that all of my classes suddenly vanished without any notification. I check my email daily--it's practically impossible that I would have missed an expiration notice. Kim then suggested I buy another 10-class pack for $140 to "get my 10 classes back." I'm not going to spend another $140 just to reclaim classes I already paid for. It's ridiculous. I was simply trying to use the classes I prepaid for, especially since the studio is now far from me. But it seems they have no intention of reinstating them. I'm so frustrated. The great memories I had at Purple Yoga have now soured into a really disappointing experience. read more

I was looking for a Hot Yoga place near my area and found this location. The Staff was friendly and the place was clean. After every class, the instructor cleans the room floors for the next class to enjoy, which I really liked. I would recommend to try all the different instructors to find your fit. I love instructors that walk around the class, and focus on people's form to help them get better. The only thing that was off for me was, if an instructor substitutes for another instructor, I recommend to please not talk badly about the class you are currently teaching/substituting for. It may not be your level, but the students are in there for a reason. It put a sour mindset for me with that one instructor, and would probably never take that person's class ever again. I've been coming to purple yoga since late December 2024! I was really just trying to just do a free intro class to join some friends and I ended up liking the after feeling so much I started getting the unlimited pass so I can go as much as I can whenever I was free. There was a time I was going 4-5 times a week before work. I love that they have clean restrooms and showers. Restrooms in the ladies room at least has body lotion, pads, tampons, QTips, hairdryers and plastic bags for your dirty clothes if you want. The showers have body wash shampoo and conditioner that smells so good. Any time of the day I go I see someone cleaning in there. After each class an Instructor cleans the floors before the next class starts. They have hair ties in the front you can have if you forgot one! They even sell clothes! Have yoga matts yoga blocks and towels to rent I believe. They make it very convenient to go with hours all throughout the day and even have classes for $15 for people who just want to drop in. They even had a referral contest and I ended up winning second place ! They offer retreats and sound baths as well and host events even for families. They have this location one in Long Beach and Huntington Beach ! I've only gone to this location because it's closer. read more

I love purple. My next door neighbor took me for my first time a little over a year ago, and now I'm addicted to hot yoga. I love how friendly everyone is; and the instructors are super helpful; kind and friendly. Alex, Danny, Sahara, Joe and Bella will all kick your butt in the best way. This place has been there for me through the years and I could not be more grateful to all the instructors and amazing community this place has been to me. I love both locations (Long Beach & Fullerton) and the instructors are the best in all of LA/OC especially Danny, Alex, and Bella. Chihiro was great! Unfortunately it looks like she's going to leave soon and not sure if she'll come back. I've been to a lot of yoga classes and it's hard to find instructors that can really balance breath work and poses. The Blue 60 class was slightly challenging but still focused on breath and I was a bit sore after. The studio was clean and pretty and staff was really kind. I also completely forgot my mat, and they were nice enough to lend me one free of charge. They also have showers which I haven't seen at other yoga studios. The only downsides in my opinion were that it was a bit warm in the room, and there's not much ventilation. I know sometimes studios intentionally do that, but I didn't see any heat advisory in the description. It was also the smallest room I've ever done a class in and it was absolutely full, so if you need a lot of space to spread out, be aware of that. I'm not new to the area and I've never had trouble parking around there before, but for some reason, that specific corner had absolutely no parking- including the two paid parking lots next to the studio. There was nothing, so I ended up parking about a mile away. So just definitely give yourself at least 15mins for parking alone. There is no dedicated lot for the studio. Also, after the class, I was talking to the lady doing reception and there was an incredibly oblivious group of clients having the loudest conversation while standing at the front desk for some reason. I had to ask the receptionist to repeat herself multiple times and the group just continued yelling and laughing. In other studios, I've seen quiet signs, and I think that would be a good idea here. Lastly, just be aware that even if you have classpass, the studio wants a credit card on file, as well as a photo of each client for their records. read more

I love this place. Instructors help you get your form right and it's hot yoga!! Blue yoga is normal stretching yoga but red or green yoga is spicy! They use to do class pass but now they aren't. Sad! I cannot classpass and pay for all the places I love. Classes at 12pm and 3pm are like $15 so worth going if you are one of those folks who have a flex schedule. read more

For seasoned yogis, purple yoga is a beautiful space to practice your asanas. However, these classes are absolutely contemporary, you will hardly find an opportunity for inversions or any sutra connection minus postures. Some teachers will allow you 10 mins in the space after class to meditate or go upside down before they wipe the floors down. The heat is the challenge here. It will bring endurance and is slightly addicting- you may have a hard time going back to a more traditional class. The facility is always sparkling clean and the personnel is knowledgeable. Fun, friendly teachers bring a variety of playlists to flow to. For new yogis, bring your mat and any props you need. Bring a basic knowledge of asanas before you attempt any of the red classes. Lauren, Joe, Gina and Jennifer W. are wonderful for hands on corrections. Don't forget a hand towel, water and your mat. Please leave your shoes in the cubbies and don't step on any mats that are not your own. Get out of your head and into your body at this beautiful studio. I love Purple Yoga in Fullerton! This has become my go to yoga studio. I have enjoyed their Blue 50 & 60 where I feel a good stretch and relaxed. I've also loved their Restorative 60 that gives me a chance to reflect and relax. The facility is very clean and well stocked. Love this place! Was looking for a hot yoga studio after moving close by and Purple Yoga is amazing! Started coming here regularly and have had no regrets getting the unlimited class membership. The instructors are so kind, respectful, and knowledgable. I love there Red 60 and all the instructors for that class. They have all different level classes, heated and non-heated to choose from, and all level yogis are welcome. Their facility is well kept and clean, with showers, ample lockers, and ALL the little things you might need like hair ties, trash bags, deodorant! They also have such a sense of community there. You can tell everyone loves to work there, work with each other, and teach all the yogis. They host YTT, retreats, workshops at breweries, and so much more. Love this place! I had been doing yoga at home for a while and attended a few in person classes elsewhere. A friend brought me here in April for a Red 60 class and I've been hooked. I started on the 2 classes a month plan and quickly quickly switched to 4 classes a month. The class is challenging and HOT but challenges me perfectly that I can see the growth in my practice. It's not overly challenging that I give up. I feel physically strong and mentally refreshed after class. Very sweaty also. Seriously, it's all a great feeling. Even on days I am tired or life is really doing its thing, I push myself to come and feel so much better after. I've also tried the Gentle Flow class and Blue 60. They are so great also when I want to switch it up and take it a little easier, less hot and focus on poses longer. The facility is great and clean and the staff and instructors are insanely kind, knowledgeable and personable. Love purple yoga and will keep at it and continue to see my progress. Love Purple Yoga! Pre-Covid, I've been coming here for a few months now. Like most, I came here originally on a Groupon but decided to stay. Love the different membership tiers that allow plenty of flexibility without having to commit to a huge monthly membership. Love the ease of signing up to classes online through their app. Check in is always a breeze. Each instructor is different and has their own style. If you're just starting out like me, try a few different instructors so you can find one that you like. The studio is always very clean. I appreciate that the floors get wiped down before each class and the studio is kept exceptionally clean. Classes are great for beginners like me and all of the instructors are great, but my favorite class is with Alex on Sunday mornings. Because of the strange Covid times we're in, I truly appreciate PY taking the initiative and being responsible in keeping the community and members safe. Without question, they immediately put memberships on hold without us having to call and make it a hassle. They took immediate actions and adhered to the state recommendations. During this time, they made online classes available and in the short amount of time they were able to open, their communication and process was seamless. Hope to come back to PY soon. read more

Purple Yoga has really outdid itself in making this place feel and look wonderful. I really love the two different rooms that they have. This place moved to a new building and location but it is still located in the heart of downtown Fullerton. If you have never tried yoga at all I would totally suggest this place. They have a Groupon deal from time to time so you can see if you like it. Also they will set up your account once you go into it for the first class. Arrive about 15 minutes earlier so you can give them all your information. After that your set to come and schedule your classes on a free app from your phone! If you aren't sure you want a hot yoga class they also do normal classes and they have different levels such as beginners and even advance with arm balancing classes. Throughout the week I enjoyed the different types of classes I would switch it up daily just to see how each teacher is like. Everyone does teach differently but I do feel that they have a strong balance of classes that you can take. Of course morning and night classes will be busy and packed but hey that's a good place to meet some fun and nice people! read more

Staff and mates have all been kind and respectful. Studio is clean and spacious. Green 60 with Amanda is the best. The session is perfect for the hot yoga I feel most comfortable and Amanda is a wonderful instructor. she provides modifications, core work out, balance strengthening , long stretches and overall a satisfying session each and every time. I'm sadden to receive the news that Purple Yoga is no longer offered with ClassPass, I will try my best to continue to attend Amanda's classes. She alone is worth the drive and membership. Be understanding that her Tuesday Green 60 could get potentially pack, she's that good - please be mindful and share the beautiful space with other mates. read more

Did a sound bath last night with Bella Caspersen and it was amazing. 15 min of very light stretching and 45 min of an amazing relaxing sound bath with many different sounds. Very good instructors and willing to help if you don't know the correct yoga pose like me. I highly recommend place. read more

I have been here for 2 months and thinking to discontinue. I was a member at Ra yoga and it is too crowded so wanted to try something new and tried purple yoga, it is very nice clean yoga studio but their classes are not same quality as Ra yoga. Class description shows 100 degrees hot yoga but it is not hot enough, I don't think it is same as its description 100 degree! And instructors are not that great, I don't feel have great work out after classes, I felt satisfied after each classes for my previous yoga studio but this doesn't give me anything close so decided to discontinue. Honestly, I wish I could leave Purple Yoga Fullerton a 5-Star review. The studio is nice and clean, instructors are lovely, and I like that it offers hot yoga. However, whoever is in charge of memberships (you have to email them a few days in advance during the week to cancel your membership), makes you want to NOT sign up for Autopay Membership ever again! Over the years we've had two serious management issues. The first one was last year during COVID. We were re-enrolled in monthly autopay without our permission and it was a huge pain to get a refund. The second issue was recently when trying to cancel my autopay membership. The membership is difficult to cancel and then they shortchanged me on remaining days when they finally did cancel it. When I tried to register for a class on my last day, I was unable to. Even after e-mailing the management at 6AM alerting them (again) to the issue, I never heard back which is sadly par for the course. Being repeatedly ignored after a long tenure of expensive monthly autopay does not make me feel valued or appreciated as a member. Again, the instructors are great and I enjoy the studio but the management is lacking. read more

This was not my first time in this studio but this last time, service was horrible, unprofessional, and disrespectful. When I walked in, they didn't even welcome us and asked my phone and card information to put it on file. I did not had my wallet with me and all I had was my Apple Pay. She said I cannot take the class without the card information on file and rejected me. First of all, I checked their website, classpass reservation policy, and even emails that they sent before BUT not even a single place mention or state this credit card information policy where you cannot take the class without it. It would be convenient for studio to write that policy on their website or send an email in advance to clients so we are aware of this informations. Or having that written down and put it on the studio for clients know. Then I would've brought my card in advance. Second, I told her that since I booked the class through classpass, my information is saved there and asked if I can take the class and give them a call after when I get home. She said that I cannot take the class without the card info. The reason they needed to have credit card info was to charge a client for late arrival or no show. I even explained to her nicely that since all that information is saved on classpass, if I show late or cancel, they will charge me and the studio will get notified. Usually that's how the third party works. It's not their first time having a client using a classpass. They did mention that this will be their last month to taking clients through classpass. Obviously, they knew how the classpass works and knows that if I am late then classpass will charge me directly and I do not need to provide my information to them if I wanted to. Lastly, I was not even late for the class. I was actually 10 mins early. I understand that credit card policy is to prevent for the future reference. They could've work this out better than this. Since it was not informed and not stated in anywhere, I felt like they were discriminating us. They didn't even apologize and felt sorry for us. All she said was that this is their policy so we cannot take the class without the credit card information which was a nonsense to me. So my question is that if I was not booked through classpass, would they allow me to take the class. Because I don't think it's fair for them to reject the client just because I didn't brought my card. Nowhere I can find that they state this card policy on their website nor email. It was just so ridiculous and unfair. I am still their client but I just used third party to book the class. This was unplesant experience and very unprofessional way for them to inform their clients this way. After I decided to just move on and leave the studio, she said "that's what everyone should carry their credit card around." That was unnecessary comment that she made and I felt so disrespectful. read more

When Ryan C suggested I meet him for a 7:30am "Green 70" class last Thursday morning before a co-working day with our Southern California team, I had no idea what that meant, but I was game. I checked out the Purple Yoga reviews and photos on Yelp as well as their website, and I was more than sold. Enough so that I left my hotel in Laguna Beach at 6:30am just to make sure I'd arrive early! I arrived 15 minutes early to a couple of super friendly yogis who got me all checked in and ready with plenty of time to spare. I took advantage of the time and headed into the yoga room with my mat and towel and took some time to stretch out and breathe. (Sadly, it's not often that I make time for this in my usual busy day-to-day routine at home, so I was super grateful for this!) Asako taught the class... it was a slow moving flowing class that was slightly heated. She was excellent with queueing the postures and holding for what felt like just the right amount of time. Her voice was soothing and she added some humor to the class as well, which I loved. The 70 minutes went by fast and I felt great after. Purple Yoga has showers and towels and a clean locker room, which made getting ready for my workday ahead a pleasure. I'm not sure when or if I'll be back in the Fullerton area, but I'd absolutely return to this studio if given the opportunity. read more
