We stopped by Braxton as part of a makeshift Cincinnati brewery tour. The inside has an interesting layout. Bar on one side, and a venue space on the other. I'm not sure if they have a kitchen or if it just wasn't open when we went. The website touts food from Taco Fuerte, which sounds like a food truck. The beer was alright. The service was rather poor considering it was by no means crowded, and the vibes left something to be desired. This location also has very limited hours -- only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I'd be interested to see how the Braxton in Covington compares. read more

Solid beers and the tater tot trio was good but the bartender was completely bush league. He was clueless how to manage a bar and frankly rude to me and several other patrons. I like the beers but if I'm treated this poorly again I won't be back. read more

I came here to kick off St Patricks Day and March Madness. Upon arrival my friends and I were instantly greeted by a friendly bartender. We were able to open a tab and grab a green garage beer quickly. We were even offered some free St Patricks Day swag! While this isnt the typical go to for Irish celebration they have great beers and Multiple large TVs to catch all the games on at once as this year the first day of the tournament fell on St Pattys. This is a great place to post up for a while. It was a gorgeous day outside and they had many of the garage doors open to let the fresh air in! There are many different areas to sit at including a large bar, high tops and large tables for groups. There is the added benefit of Pendalo wings next door to grab some food. You can place your order at the bar and have it added to your tab. They simply take your cell phone number and text you when its ready to come grab at the pickup counter in Pendalo. Our group ordered various things to share that were tasty! Highly recommend checking this place out for a chill hang out. read more

Braxton is an awesome brewery in the heart of the OTR in Cincinnati. I make it a habit of always hanging out there whenever I'm in Cincy. The service is always great and the brews are always fantastic! I'm not much of a fan of their flavored beers but I love their IPA's and the Garage beer is a great lager. Additionally, Braxton has awesome bar food! Everything is great! The wings, pretzel bites, you really can't go wrong. Great hangout to watch sports, great service and the bar menu has fantastic food! I definitely recommend! read more

My wife said it best as we were leaving - "now that we've used that gift card, we never have to come back to a Braxton!" I've been here multiple times. The last was over a year ago when they hosted a so-called F1 watch party. That experience was terrible; we couldn't hear the commentary and there was no food because the cook showed up late. I contacted Braxton HQ after that to express my frustrations and was promised a $50 gift card via email from Richard Kohl, the "Director of Taprooms" at the time. It never arrived. Sadly, a family member purchased us another "Best of Brews" gift card, so we decided to give this Braxton location another chance since we knew they would have the F1 race on, and there was also a Bengals game on at the same time - what a great opportunity for us to go to Braxton, drink a few drinks and watch all the sports! What a mistake. Nothing has changed since the last time I was here. We grabbed two seats at the bar and was attended to by a pleasant female behind the bar. I wish I would have caught her name, because she was the only one here with a lick of customer service. Chris, the other guy behind the bar (let me be clear with who this is: today, he was wearing a Black Keys shirt, backwards hat, glasses, and has long hair), has no business in the service industry. When we attempted to cash out our tab with the gift card, we were told they couldn't accept it because they "haven't gotten that update from corporate." Well, Chris, that's bull because we used the same type of gift card here last year. The other bartender at least had enough common sense to say "nope, we'll accept it" and just knocked the amount of the gift card off my check. As far as a sports viewing experience goes, it's bad. You still can't hear the commentary. The F1 race started at 4pm and I asked if they could turn on the commentary and was told no, because the Bengals game was starting at 4:25 and the audio would be on for that. Ok, you could have made the abundant number of F1 fans there to watch the race happy and turned the audio on for at least 20 minutes but whatever. When they did finally turn the Bengals game audio on, we still couldn't hear it. My wife and I streamed the audio off of our phones and listened to it through headphones... In summary: Beer? Fine Sports watching? Average Sports listening to accompany your viewing? Nonexistent Customer service? I don't think Braxton knows what this is. read more

Glad there is a Braxton option north of the river. They offer a spacious venue that is good for large groups. They also have lots of TV's which lets them operate a bit like a sports bar, which is something that is in short supply in the OTR-Pendleton area. There is also a food venue CHX, attached to the south end of the building. Though the space is ample, it can be a bit awkward. I'm not always sure where exactly I should order, but they seem to operate like most traditional bars, wherever you can grab some counter space is a fine spot for ordering. There is street parking nearby, though the street immediately east has been converted to pedestrian only. read more

This place is really fun for a watch party- soccer, football..... whatever you seek in sports. Braxton beers are some of the best in Cincinnati. This is the Pendleton/OTR location . Grab a cocktail or a few beers and catch a game . read more

Guy behind the bar let us bring in our coneys to eat which was very nice. The drinks were very good, especially the grapefruit shandy. The merch they sell on site is pretty dope. Inside is a typical brewery type feel, modern and clean. Give this place a try. read more

I enjoyed my experience here so much! The man working behind the counter was so friendly. I came mid-day so it was a little empty, however I would definitely come back with a group of people and it would be a great time. It's also very clean in here and open. I ordered a 6-pack of the Peach Cobbler beers to go, it was a great gift for my mother! read more

I've got to admit I'm impressed. I've been following Braxton for a long time and I know that they are master marketers and do a good job in most everything they do. The beer is generally pretty good never mind blowing to me but never lacking enough that I'm upset. Starting off... the old three points brewery space it's beautiful big and open. It's conveniently located a few blocks from my office so it makes for a great spot to hit up later in the day after some stressful work. All the beers I had here today tasted very fresh, cold, and amazing. I don't know if they have gotten better at their recipes or just the lines are clean but everything was on point. I really like their new Radler, although a little sweet, I mixed it half-and-half with summer trip and it was one of the best drinks I've had in a long time. I also grabbed a few cases of the pumpkin spice seltzer on my way out which is a surprisingly good drink from what I would have expected it to taste like. The staff here was very helpful friendly and the vibe is nice. I will definitely be coming back here quite often. PS I So awesome good looking food here but didn't get a chance to try it. Also they have the Biocell can't sanitizer which is the best out there it smells amazing! read more

Even though I was sad to see 3 Points go, I was very happy to hear Braxton was moving in to this space! If you are looking for a place to grab a drink to watch the Bengals or some college football this is the place. There are plenty of TVs with multiple games going on throughout the brewery. One thing I did notice about this Braxton location, is it seems more accommodating for big groups compared to the Covington location. There are plenty of tables for groups 10 or less! I can't wait to come back when in I'm in the Pendleton area! read more

I do not know the history of this place but it use to be another brewery in the past? I am so happy Braxton decided to open a brewery in the cincy side!! They have a nice big parking lot next to the building. It was 5 bucks to park. You might also be able to find free parking on the street in the area. Braxton has really good beer and a nice selection. Service was very nice and friendly. If you want a nice treat walk across the street and get some ice cream! Go back and have a beer and a treat win win. It is a nice big place very open seating. Do go and enjoy. read more

The sours are very delicious here. The staff was very nice. The building is spacious enough where you have lots of choices in seating and still are able to have good conversation. Definitely recommend! read more

At first impression, the place looks like a cool hang out. I was unaware you needed to go to the window at the bar if you wanted to place an order for a drink, food or even a glass of water (no ice). It looks like the regular customers know not to order food from here because it takes entirely too long for your typical bar food of wings and frys. Now I understand why people brought in there own food. It is pet friendly but allowing customers to have their dogs on tables is not ok. There is no one bussing tables between customers to wipe down tables. The beer was good. I waited over 30 mins for pretzels and cheese and the cheese was cold. So disappointing read more

2 stars on the service- 5 stars on the place. The atmosphere is very cool and open concept. Nice view of TVs and everything. Beer was very good as well. I ordered the tropical flare. 2 stars because the service was awful. A man just told us where to sit as we came and didn't tell us if we had to order from the bar or if they wait on us. After sitting for about 10 minutes I went up to the bar and asked him and he was very rude. I asked about tasting some of the beers and he seemed annoyed. A person within our group did not even order a drink because of him. He was more concerned to hang with his friends at the bar and curse loudly throughout his conversation and drink beer with them. read more

I really really really love Braxton! My family and I spend a lot of time in the brewery. First in Covington then on 13th St. 13th St. because it's close to our home. Tropic Flare is my fav. When my family was in town for my mother's funeral, we came to Braxton. We ordered from Bakersfield on Main St. When my ex-husband died, we came to Braxton and picked up food from the Eagle. Most recently when my son was in town, we came down for a two Bengals game, again ordering food. Today, I'm here with my family, food in tow, because it's what we do when we come to Braxton because they didn't have a kitchen. When we got we here we ordered our beer and prepared to eat our food. At the table I noticed a meal for food from the Pendalo Wingery. I thought, " this is awesome so happy for Braxton". Out of respect, I asked if we could still eat our food because we had no idea that a new restaurant was available to order food. We were told NO! I expressed that we had no prior knowledge and would never bring food again. Again we were told NO! I'm disappointed, I understand the rules I do, but an exception should have been made for us this one time. We should have been told, it can't happen again. We are hardworking citizens that don't like to waste food. We had not other choice but to leave because we needed to feed our family and our children. read more

For those that had been to three points brewery, this is the same building. Braxton has added its own flare but it is generally the same feel. I love the open air concept and there is plenty of room for larger groups. The staff was very accommodating for our group given the restrictions of covid and made sure we had enough chairs to sit. The service at the bar was really fast and they had a lot of Braxton labs beers on tap that I hadn't tried before. I was happy to finally try the pumpkin spice vive which exceeded my expectation. If you don't like beer, try one of their vive cocktails! Will definitely be back at this location and happy to support local. read more

Please look at my reviews and see that I am not a critical person. I am so forgiving in restaurants and bars. Again just like my brew dog review. We walked in on a Friday night and the place was not crowded compared to capacity. We absolutely love Braxton, however when you only have 1 bartender that slows things down to a snails pace. For that reason this location receives a 1Star. read more

All the same great beers as their Covington location! They have a wing place inside as well to grab some food. They do trivia on Wednesdays which was a nice bonus! read more

I quite frankly never write reviews, but my experience here was so horrible and I felt I should warn people. If I could leave 0 stars I would. We went in Wednesday night for a drink when the power was out. The bartender called last call 45 minutes before close, but we just figured she wanted to get home with the power outages. We all ordered Hefeweizen. She took our IDs and clearly did not believe we were 21 because she gave me a pretty nasty look up and down and rolled her eyes at us all (my group was 3 22yos from 3 different states so I won't hold it against her for being suspicious) she came back with glasses that were maybe 60% full and all foam. They were also not Hefeweizen, they were maybe miller lite. I'm not confrontational so I figured we'd just leave and not come back after that. She didn't ask about checks, took my card and rang all three drinks on it even though we all had cards out to give her. She tossed my card on the bar and walked away. No receipt. I did get an alert from my bank that I'd been charged $22. I figured she counted us out for a tip which would've been incorrect. We sat there for a bit waiting for a receipt to sign, before I saw her at the back of the bar filling a bunch of other receipts out (it was clear she was putting tips in and signing receipts) I got her attention and asked where our receipt was and that we didn't sign anything. You could see the panic in her eyes and she ran back, fiddled with the computer for a good 5 minutes and came back with a receipt for $18, and the charge on my card was gone. It was so clear that she was putting tips in for herself and figured I was too young and dumb to know or have the balls to confront her. Not only is this bad service but it's extremely illegal. I've bartended since I turned 21 and been a server for 3 years, and have NEVER seen anyone try to pull that in such a blatant way and then be as rude as she was. If you end up going here keep an eye out for your receipt. read more

If you guys ever stop making the scooter radler I will literally die

Great place with good beer and very cute inside but there was a band that was playing when we went and it was entirely to loud to even talk to the person next to you unfortunately. We were even on the opposite side of the band and it was still unreasonably loud band and you couldn't hear the people next to you talk. read more

Good beers, rude waiters, only cared about their friends walking in. Food was pretty overpriced.

Fun spot! Tried several beers and enjoyed them all. Also, had the dry rub wings and they were fantastic: meaty, crunchy and delicious.
