Driver was early, and told by restaurant "10 more minutes", which ended up being 30 more minutes, causing our order to be 15 minutes past the delivery time frame. We ordered 4 dishes. 2 were completely different items. 1 was not included. To recap they only got 1 of 4 items correct. The quality of the food didn't justify not getting the order right. I was recommended this place from a neighbor that has good taste in food, so being a foodie myself I decided to try. The location of the restaurant is hard to find because it's so little and tucked away a bit. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza & hot wings and they were both very delicious. You can taste the freshness in every bite. They also don't skimp out on the cheese or pepperoni. I'm not one to eat the crust but this crust was light and airy and just so yummy. Mark gave us the history behind the food, and for over 40 years they've strived to bring fresh food to your table. This not only hit the mark, they obliterated it. This is the first time we tried this place as we used to go to their restaurant that is now closed. The menu is very similar and I ended up getting pizza which I never had at the restaurant. My husband got his usual shrimp and scallop pasta and although the shrimp and scallops were smaller than at the restaurant it was still very good. Not too close to where we have a place so we were afraid maybe the food would get cold but we put it in the trunk as it was a hot day and everything was fine. I recommend. This is my "go-to" pizza place. It's been in the same location for quite a while, but I didn't begin trying it until the pandemic. The pizza and spaghetti with meat sauce are my favorites. I've came here plenty of times and had my order taken correctly every single time. The first time I ever ordered with the cook with the glasses he can't seem to get the order correct. 2 orders with linguini with clam sauce and 2 8oz. Sides of the sauce. Simple right? He asks so you want the sauce on the side, I say no I want the regular pasta with sauce on it, and extra sides of sauces. Understanding my order I think he acknowledges. I come in and the female who always gets my order correct reads it back and it's perfect. When I go home I realize there is no side of sauce nor extra sauce on the pasta. No big deal I head back to retrieve my sauce I paid extra for. The cook now comes out I original ordered with and proceeds to tell me he gave it to me the way I ordered it with the extra sauce on the pasta. I say that's not correct, the lady up front read it correctly how I wanted it and on the receipt. He tells me I am wrong and he remembered it, I say no that's not correct I wanted a simple order of 2 orders of linguini with clam sauce and two sides of clam sauce. He says he put the extra sauce in the dish, which was another lie. I ordered it correctly, I received no sauce I paid for, now he is telling me I am the mistaken person. He says I'll go ask in back. Great get my sauce so I can leave. Then he comes back saying he has to charge me for extra sauce. I really did like coming here. But that experience left a sour taste in my mouth. Even if he thought he was correct, a simple sorry for the miscommunication let me grab your sauce would've solved everything. I know they are always busy on Fridays and he was flustered the whole time on the phone, but seriously he should never answer phones or take orders in the front. Keep him hidden in the back, he can't multitask and he can't take accountability or resolve simple problems. read more

Absolutely delicious Margarita Pizza! Fresh, crunchy crust that's amazingly soft and chewy, the most creamy mozzarella and fresh basil on top. It hit all the marks! I walked in not realizing it was almost 2: 00 p.m. and ordered a large to go which was going to take 15 minutes. They were more than accommodating and once I got home for my late lunch I was in heaven! Before I left I inquired as to whether they were associated with the now closed Conca D'Oro (too bad the new building owner wouldn't negotiate a deal for this landmark restaurant), she said, "We are Conca D'Oro!" This place is a gem. Not only because they have great food, COVID-conscious, and a locally owned business but because they have amazing customer service that is willing to get creative. I grew up with New Haven pizza--basically a white pizza with olive oil, cheese, garlic, herbs, and clams--very common on the East Coast but the closest thing I could find was in Dana Point. I called them and asked if they could make this for me because they had all the ingredients but it wasn't on the menu, and OH BOI did they deliver! It was $5 extra to add clams, but totally worth it for me to not have to drive to Dana Point and it was DELICIOUS!! I asked for the Pizza Bianca (Ricotta cheese, mushrooms, onions, garlic, spinach and bacon. Topped with mozzarella cheese and drizzle of olive oil) + Clams. Not sure where to begin. Tried to place phone order but never picked up after 10 minutes, so drive there. Placed order for 2 entrees and was told 45 minutes. Returned at 45 minutes and was told another 30 minutes for order; as we waited there heard they ran out of chicken (one of our orders was chicken Marsala). Total wait was 2 hours and then when we're home discovered my salad was not included and the wrong pasta was included with the Marsala order. It also appeared that they cut one piece of chicken breast in half horizontally to have two pieces (instead of 2 separate breasts) that were so thin and overcooked. My Eggplant parmigiana was floating in sauce and was mushy. Not a good experience nor meal. So disappointed since we had heard good reviews. read more

Franco is very personable and cares deeply that you are 100% completely satisfied with your meal(s). There are some outside tables available to enjoy your meal or you can order your food TO-GO and eat it at home. The menu is quite extensive and you'll be pleasantly surprised with the generous portion sizes for reasonable prices. I would definitely highly recommend this gem of a Italian Restaurant for anybody that is craving Authentic Italian Food prepared the old-fashioned way with fresh ingredients and cooked by the Owner/Chef personally himself. No indoor seating; outdoor tables are broken; place is next to a smoke shop and the owner of that shop was smoking and refused to close the door so all we were smelling was smoke. Food was so so. They also made a mistake on the order-- we ordered a small pepperoni and didn't realize they forgot the pepperoni until we opened the box. It wasn't that crowded so these kind of mistakes shouldn't be made imo. read more

It is hard to find an Italian joint that has decent marinara. The tomato sauce here tastes like your typical acidic, strong, deep red tomato sauce from a large tub or can just like they use at dominos pizza. It's generic TO THE MAX. It simply ruined the dish. Family and I stopped in after spending sometime at Irvine Regional Park. The location is a bit inconspicuous, as it's crammed into a tiny space a couple of doors down from an Albertson's, across from John's Cafe. There wasn't much in the way of seating, as it was all out on the front patio. There are no high chairs available, so make sure you bring something for young kiddos to sit in (we had to use a stroller for our daughter). The owner was present and stated they had expanded from their operations from a main branch in Anaheim. Next time I come here, I'll be taking the food to go. The regional park is right around the corner with some beautiful picnic areas. Now onto the food... the portions here are big, and the food is great. We ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara, which was delicious; we split this up amongst the three of us and there was more than enough to go around. We also ordered the magherita pizza, which had a soft, delicious crust and a nice balance of toppings with zesty pizza sauce. The pizza was Sicilian style, and reminded me of a pizza you come across at an Argentine take-out. Really good stuff. The garlic bread is soft, chewy and bursting with garlic. Make sure you love garlic before ordering it, it's very garlicky! What really pushed this over the top into five-star territory were the prices. Since all the entrees are meant to be split, you end up spending less than a comparable restaurant. I love getting high value for a low price. We ended up with wonderful Italian dinner for three at around $30. The service was great and the owner was very attentive and concerned about providing a great dining experience. UPDATED: This is now one of our regular spots. We live in the complexes around the corner so will call ahead the order and walk over just in time to eat outside. Always get great service and delicious food, yet I still haven't been able to have their lunch which looks amazing. Wait time is still a good 20-30 minutes typically so again, always call ahead! But the owner is so nice and the food excellent! ------------------------------------------------ I've only been here once, but based on my first experience, I will be back soon! Ordered a basic pepperoni pizza which was delicious. Service was great and I do agree that ordering pick-up is the best way to go. They quoted me 20 minutes. This is the best pizza I've had EVER, and I've eaten a lot of pizza across the globe in my 31 yrs. My wife and my first time at Brava Cucina tonight. Mark, the owner, was very friendly and gave us great suggestions on what to try. He has been in the restaurant business his whole life and has perfected the pizza! I wish we had the appetite to try more items on the menu, but this review is just for the pizza. What makes or breaks a pizza is the crust, and Mark's crust was the best I've ever had. Crispy, yet soft, and done just right. I wouldn't have changed a thing. You can tell that he spends time on it and that it's not his first rodeo. Also the service was excellent. Mark went out of his way to make sure we had a good experience from the moment we ordered, to keeping us entertained with conversation while we waited, to making sure we had enough plates and utensils and dipping sauce. He even gave us re-heating best practices to ensure that we enjoyed the leftovers. This is our new favorite pizza spot in Orange County. We will be back and refer to our friends. read more
